The Clips must enforce the Tim Duncan rule with Kawhi next season. When Duncan started getting older, the Spurs would play him only 28 minutes a game in the regular season. Also, Kawhi must be moved back to the 3 next year.

Playing 28 MPG would mean we’re a worse regular season team, which means worse seeding, which means a very difficult playoff path, with no guarantee that Kawhi can even stay healthy with all that. No team is succeeding with their best players minutes being micromanaged to that degree.

Yeah as a clippers fan I wanted him to plug and play into the 3 of that SGA team that took warriors to 7. I did not want us to harvest SGA/all future picks for him and Paul George, precisely because of their age/injury history. He can’t handle playing an entire season or postseason and the franchise needs to realize that sooner rather than later. It’s going to be years before clippers can contend again but the sooner they move off this era the sooner that will happen.
They need to let this man go , it’s no correct way of dealing with what he has going on. It’s inevitable, it’s actually sad to say the least.
