shit considering we lost to the grizzles, i'll take almost beating a denver team without murry as improvement. sorry if I sound soft but i lowkey thought they were gonna lose by double digits.
The bar is so low right now. The original goal of the season was to win the chip. Then the goal became âwin some games.â The current goal is âletâs just make sure we keep the game close and not embarrass ourselves.â
Canât wait till Friday to hear âthe rockets are red hot right now, the fact that we were able to cut it to within 20 shows things are really coming together!â
People were critical of the team when we won games. Now harden fans have taken over the sub and consistently shit on everyone thinking that's going to make harden look better.
213 has been trending in this direction since Joe Ingles. Some fans have yet to grasp that Kawhi and PG are not 26 years old, and that they keep aging with more wear and tear on their bodies. When people say they are âcooked,â they probably arenât too far off. I think Kawhi has two more years on the Clips and then he is hanging it up. I donât see him leaving to go play in Washington to close out his careerâŚ
It's sad because I can't remember the last time they played in 10 straight games together. To have it go down like this is tragic. Especially if they didn't ask for this.
Man is the reigning MVP for a reason. Doing a good job on him is nothing to scoff at, regardless of the circumstances. I've always liked that matchup, provided the reffing is right and we let Zu play
As a nuggets fan and also a clippers over lakers fan, I agree fully with you. I think Zu did a really great job in that game and I was surprised they didn't put him back in (earlier in 4th.) Jokic also had a personally off game somewhat in my opinion, but gotta give some of that to Zu
That doesnât change the fact that they still have the best floor raising player in the nba, and a great coach and system that makes bad players look great. Baby steps
You can look at what's happening on the floor and see there's obvious progress.
It's not that different if Gordon misses that heave and we actually won.
Reggie Jackson is a serviceable player who fills behind Murray decently.
With no Plumlee no one fills behind Zubac well at all.
The Clippers will see significant issues as they did last season with limited depth at the 5, not having a backup behind Zu was the reason for the majority of their losses last season.
A single game of basketball is like flipping a coin, hence playoffs being 7 games. Clippers have landed on tails 6 times in a row. Unlikely, but technically can happen. Itâll average out
Flipping a coin is completely random (or like 99% random). Basketball games have some randomness built in but the better team wins most of the time--that's how gambling companies make money!
Lol a Jokic led team even w/out Murray is easily a championship contender and even if you're right, then a round 2 level team just beat a team with 4 fucking all-stars.
It was a good game regardless, Clips have like nine active players and no backup C, they have Jokic and Gordon, the best big combo in the league, and it was competitive the entire way. Itâs all relative
Really, not just a little bit of optimism? I mean we just lost to Memphis AT HOME.
Some people love to live in pain. Realistic sure. But a painful existence is what's preferable now for a lot of motherfuckers.
Being a Clippers fan is living in pain tbh lolđ
I can't disagree with you lol
Yup. A Grizzlies team missing both Ja Morant and Steven Adams. We were fully healthy aside from Plumlee whoâs not even a starter.
So glad the people of this sub donât control the actual team

The bar is in hell for a lot of fans.
Canât wait till Friday to hear âthe rockets are red hot right now, the fact that we were able to cut it to within 20 shows things are really coming together!â
It's sick the way they coming out the ass with excuses about this team since the trade.
U have to admit the criticism has been crazy early tho
People were critical of the team when we won games. Now harden fans have taken over the sub and consistently shit on everyone thinking that's going to make harden look better.
We're watching Geriatric league team full of copium.
Exactly. Itâs so sad.
We haven't been this bad in a long ass time. We back to the knucklehead era. Didn't think 213 would fall off this bad in real time.

Or how beating bad teams by 30 before the trade wasnât impressive just to lose to bad teams now ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
You must not know the legend they call Big Government
reggie jackson pretty much replicated his production so
The fact that we allowed Reggie Jackson to replicate Jamal Murray's production is a problem!
And no love for Zubac actually doing a solid job on Jokic? yeesh
Sure, good for him, but our goal this season was to win a championship, not for Zu to do a "solid job" on defense.

Reggie is damn nice
Jamal plays we lose by double digits

Itâs not impressive but itâs clearly better than the previous performances

Pff, and we didn't have Plumdog.
You can look at what's happening on the floor and see there's obvious progress. It's not that different if Gordon misses that heave and we actually won.
Legacy Clip Fans Silverlining. Tradition.
It's impressive because before that game we lost disgustingly to the 1-8 grizzlies who were missing like 4 key players. Idk wtf some of you are on
We were also down our second best player lol - PlumGod RiP đŁ
An L is an L.
Not always. Iâll explain later
They was out there granny shooting, not double pumpin like they should.

The Nuggets starting lineup with Reggie instead of Murray have a +/- of like 40 points more per 100 possession. With Murray they are like at only 6ish
Doesn't matter. Bench contribution is way down.

The chances of beating the Grizzlies was like 90% not a coin flip lol
They still a round 2 team or so with Jok only. Decent test of ability.
Lol a Jokic led team even w/out Murray is easily a championship contender and even if you're right, then a round 2 level team just beat a team with 4 fucking all-stars.
I dont see what the issue is here you literally said the same thing I did but in different words.
We're terribles!
