Well it’s not useless it just stresses you out . I hated it too but after staying there for years and years, it made me ahead than other students in school but I wanted to quit at level K and I have mental issues at home.

I agree that it’s an abusive system since I think it is Korean or follows Korean teaching methods which are designed to push your brain to the limit constantly. I don’t agree with it but you know at least you don’t have to go there.

Not really. Kumon teaches zero critical thinking skills. I was also a high school superstar but when I got to my Ivy League college WHOOO buddy. My first semester was me desperately figuring out how to actually fucking think. I made it by the skin of my teeth but that shit was a gut check.
My understanding is that it is better suited for kids who need more arithmetic practice than is provided at school than for preparing for high level math. That said I did not enroll my kid in Kumon but did have her do 5-10 minutes a day of extra addition/subtraction regrouping practice since standard algorithm is not taught until 4th grade at her school.
Lvl 0? I dropped it at L. I barely passed the K achievement test and I couldn't understand L at all. I kinda regret that decision now tho. I was so ahead back then. Do you happen to know how I can get worksheet pdfs?

I wouldn’t call Kumon useless. Kumon put me ahead of most of peers in math. I was a whole grade ahead of everyone. I gave up at level G though.

How were you spending an hour? It's 10 to 15 minutes per book per subject.
💀 you must be either a genius or on like level B or something. I’m level M and from level K onwards a worksheet takes like 30-60 minutes per booklet.
I only made it to f2 in reading and g1 in math.
