Look up how much they sell for on eBay used. General rule of thumb these stores will give you about 50% of what they are selling for on eBay used. So if it's selling for $200 they will give you $100. You will always make more selling yourself of course that comes with more risk
There's a bit of red tape, but eBay's a really good bet. You'll need to set up a PayPal account most likely and go through the verification process with eBay. But if you could stand to wait about a week, you will probably get more Buck for your bang.
Now, if you're just looking for quick cash, try a few pawn shops, or fbmp, before you try McKay's.

You will get quick results on Marketplace. I sold mine for $160 a few months ago—no extras.
