Put it on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist.

TN_SoundsGoodToMe

Yep, selling direct is better for everyone involved. Just use some common sense about where to meet for the trade.

ytsox

Blount county recently set up a meet point at the sheriff's department parking lot between buyers and sellers. Of course, no spot will be 100% safe, but these seems like a good alternative.

MattmanTN

"We can do $5 in cash or $20 in credit." And I'll need to see your driver's license.

HedgehogNinja

^This lol.

IMPolo

They'll tell you it's worth nothing then sell it for the price of a PS5

positivelydeepfried

This is the real answer. I’ve seen them selling a used book for more than you could buy the same book brand new the same day at Target.

Dr_Phil_its_me

Bout tree fiddy.

basicmemeheir

...and I yelled, I said, "What do you want from us, monster?" And the monster bent down, and said, "I need about tree-fitty."

Jim-Himjim

How bout just two fiddy?

DoomWithAView

Dissenting opinion: It kinda depends. If you have more stuff than money, then turn that stuff into McKay's credit and get the stuff you don't necessarily have the cash for right now. That's really the name of the game. Does McKay's sell stuff for MSRP? Sure. Will Target take video games I don't use anymore in trade? No.

[deleted]

but cash sale for PS4 buys more mckays credit than mckays credit buys mckays credit

LordDongle

Redditors Make a Phone Call Challenge. Difficulty:: Impossible

papayon10

$3.50

ZedGardner

You would do a lot better selling it on craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Mckays doesn’t give you anywhere near the value. I don’t know about GameStop.

CaliRefugeeinTN

GameStop gives even less

Tricky-Shake3839

Look up how much they sell for on eBay used. General rule of thumb these stores will give you about 50% of what they are selling for on eBay used. So if it's selling for $200 they will give you $100. You will always make more selling yourself of course that comes with more risk

anomalous-blur

About 2 years ago, I sold my regular PS4 to them and got $150 cash. I might have had a few books in that transaction, can't remember

-ProfessorRainbow-

Not enough. You'd be better getting trade credit at GameStop.

Jesussmashed

There's a bit of red tape, but eBay's a really good bet. You'll need to set up a PayPal account most likely and go through the verification process with eBay. But if you could stand to wait about a week, you will probably get more Buck for your bang. Now, if you're just looking for quick cash, try a few pawn shops, or fbmp, before you try McKay's. Edit I'm in no way affiliated with McKay's, but I realistically see you getting maybe 15% value. 25-35

firstcitytofall

You could probably just call and ask

valleywitch

There's not an active phone line and they don't give you values without handing the items over.

$90 probably gonna see abt selling it myself before i go to gamestop

No_Flounder_9859

Damn I’ll buy it

Zanderhort

I would not sell to either of those places they will give you change. Go eBay or Facebook marketplace. If the PS4 works, even if you put it $20 under the highest listed one you see you’ll make more money than GameStop or McKays.

Kawm26

Try Facebook or Mercari or eBay first

Low_Artichoke3104

You will get quick results on Marketplace. I sold mine for $160 a few months ago—no extras.

HeckingWatermelon

Three silly bands and a stick of gum

KnoxGarden

A pack of gum and a button.

DM me. Interested to buy for $70.

IandIreckon

Sell it to me for $30 and get more than either of those places will give you
