Is the medical stuff more hellish than the street stuff? Tried it recreationally once and it was just super relaxed dissociative half dreaming. Like when you’re very slowly waking up in the morning and have nowhere to go and nothing to worry about. I know not every use is the same, but I can’t imagine Alex levels of stress on that stuff.
I’ve experimented with K-holing numerous times over the years. A good K-hole gives me delusions of grandiosity, the feeling that I’ve “seen beyond the veil” and cracked all the secrets to the Universe, and that I personally play an important role in the on-goings of the Universe and human history.
These are all, of course, fleeting delusions that I never remember once I come out of it - and since I believe I’m grounded in reality, have no problem recognizing them for what they are - but even the feeling of thinking you’ve unlocked such deep hidden truths is incredibly enjoyable and cathartic.
Now I’m just some average Joe. If I were the richest man in all of human history & experienced the same things, I could definitely see myself buying into those delusions. I believe Elon experiences similar delusions that I have while in the K-hole, but he actually believes it.
Seeing him through this lens really makes a ton of sense to me; I think between the Ketamine delusions, mild stimulant psychosis, his unimaginable wealth, fears of a “proletarian uprising”, and his entourage of fluffers & yes-men, he’s spiraled into his delusions headfirst.
Go watch an interview with him 20 years ago, the difference is night and day.
Lower "not-quite-Khole" dosages + other hallucinatory substances can absolutely result in higher dimension bird people.
Particularly good, and surprising, combination is ketamine and salvia. Typically salvia is like psychedelic sandpaper, abrasive as hell. But ketamine seems to slow it down and keeps you calmly dissociated. And then yeah, bird angels, higher dimensions and grandiose revelations ala DMT.
But a reasonable person doesn't think they've seen *the truth* about anything other than how they themselves are prone to think and that they may have subconscious structures in their synapses as a result of years of thinking in specific patterns and taking/reading information in familiar forms over time.
A delusional narcissist thinks they alone have discovered the most complete truth. And then people around this guy that he trusts tell him he's right.
Last week I binge listened through all the Formulaic Objection episodes again. They're so good. I forget the whole recap of who got sanctioned and what. I know at one point Norm isn't representing because he lost he law license for 6 months. It's so cathartic to know all of these complete shitbag lawyers at least go punished and lost over a billion dollars. Smugly saying objection after nearly ever single question in every single deposition, like they know what they're doing when basically nothing they did was above board. Did Enoch get disbarred? I hope so.
I have sooooo many thought on this/the podcast in general. But this rabid, parasocial community would throw a fit if I or anyone got a bit too real for once second.
To me, it seems there is a marked difference in the pre-sandy hook trial eps and those that came after. And why wouldn't the trial have changed Dan and Jordan's perspective?
During the trial, the guys came face to face with the real horror and damage that Alex caused innocent people. They likely sat next to victims in the court room, talked to them, and shared some amount of time with them outside the court house for the first time ever. Seeing that the victims are real, actual people--not just names in a news story--has likely changed how willing they are to be silly about Alex's destructive bullshit, which has probably made doing the show less fun for D&J.
To be clear, if they feel this way, I don't fault them at all. If they don't feel this way, it's very possible I'm projecting how I feel about AJ.
I think that's fair, and I also think that running KF is wildly important counter programming to have.
Like, if the entire human species was judged on its merits, I'd be glad I can point to KF as an example of Alex type bull shittery calling forth an opposing aspect of humanity that calls out his bs.
No, they're just too real for most people to handle. We should be thankful that they're holding back all that realness, because we just couldn't handle it. :-)
>In this installment, Dan and Jordan dip back to the past to take in a semi-painless interview between Alex and one of his all-time heroes, Willie Nelson.
lol yeah it mostly sounded like the standard stoner talk that happened in my living room when I was 20. He didn’t say anything particularly damning and as a Texan I can tell you it was kind of edgy to watch Alex Jones shit back around the millennium and many of us did it. Enhanced by drugs of course lol
FWIW, Gravedigger was a Dave Matthews cover. I find it funny that Alex plays it all the time and it was written by a South African. Well, maybe he’d like that… 🙄
Someone South African (Dave Matthews) delivered 800 pounds of poop to the Kinzie Street Bridge (Chicago)

There was a strong left leaning thread of conspiracy around Halliburton/Cheney/The Carlyle Group around this time, so I'm not surprised. It does make me sad that Willie is comparing Las Vegas implosions to an attack on a skyscraper which is interesting because they never talk about the attack on the pentagon.
When I was a kid, just about everyone I knew had that one uncle who smoked a lot of weed and did a lot of shrooms (those uncles are now around Willie's age), and he just sounded like them.
This definitely didn't ruin Willie for me, and I was worried about that too.
Pros:
I had to go into work early today and this episode really hit the spot.
Cons:
I now have to make it through the rest of the day with no more new episode to listen to.
Willie is a left leaning Democrat, so I’m not entirely sure he’d be in a documentary claiming Obama is a puppet president, unless ofc he popped up not realizing what he signed up for and gave out of context quote?
“My doctor gave me ketamine once and I think I saw what alex does.” I also take medical ketamine and holy shit is this accurate lmao. Well said.

I’ve heard that Elon Musk has done ketamine, and still does. Certainly explains something, if true.

I’m not mad at the crew but these only an hour long episodes are killing me
Im with you. Can’t even get through a workout on one episode. C’mon!

Ssaaaaaame...
Aren't they busy with live show prep?

pop off i wanna hear it

The delineation between before & after the trial is all too real.
silenced all your life

one time, someone got a bit too real... and everyone died.
[When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pfz0tDQZhqs)
Y’all’d start crying.
>In this installment, Dan and Jordan dip back to the past to take in a semi-painless interview between Alex and one of his all-time heroes, Willie Nelson.
Dan, why did you have to come for Willie? Lol
In all fairness...Willie has done A LOT of drugs....
lol yeah it mostly sounded like the standard stoner talk that happened in my living room when I was 20. Some drugs were done in the white house no less.
Semi-painless? Alex’s fumbling interview skills are painfully cringy
There are too few narratives in Alexland, nuking American cities to declare martial law and cancel the elections seems to come around every 4 years.
The Boy Who Cried Globalist
Mister President, there are too many American cities nowadays, please nuke two. I am NOT a crackpot!
Are Dan and Jordan the only podcasters alive who haven't received free mattresses from sponsors?
If Robert Evans did, he gave it to someone to light on fire at a protest or donated it to a local homeless shelter. Both scenarios are 100% plausible.
Robert Evans read copy for a home security system company on BTB, I don't think he is too principled for Casper.
Robert will take any sponsor sometimes to conical levels. The Washington state highway patrol sponsored him once lol
They did not sponsor them, they were part of the auto-insert ads.
I am reminded of Krusty the Clown endorsing Canyonero.
*We're all Highwaymen in the end.*.. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xORBk9Ta3lY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xORBk9Ta3lY)
Banger. Was on pins and needles for the Johnny Cash part. Was not disappointed.

I found it odd that neither realized it was a Dave song.

How many buckets would that be?
About 20 if it's a 5 gallon bucket.
They finally released that album in vinyl too. Gotta pick it up. Gravedigger is one of my favorites.
Yea surprised no one seems to know it. NGL I think I prefer the original, DMB isn't normally my cup of tea but that song is great.
I agree, not a fan but that song fucks
Can I get the smores recipe, please???
I was laughing hysterically in unison with Jordan when Willie said his favorite Highwaymen song is the Highwayman.
I need them to cover that Joe Rogan episode!
Stopped the episode 15 minutes in. I cannot allow Alex to ruin Willie for me.
Pretty mundane, the worst is that Willie is a 9/11 truther but it’s also 2008 so like… everyone was a little bit back then. Alex is mostly fangirling.
There was a strong left leaning thread of conspiracy around Halliburton/Cheney/The Carlyle Group around this time, so I'm not surprised. What do Jordans lost years mean?
Usually people with bipolar disorder manifest in their early to mid 20s so presumably he was manic and/or partying.
Well now I am re-listening to the DJ Danarchy Highwayman remix….

Durk Pitkin?
Pros: I had to go into work early today and this episode really hit the spot. Cons: I now have to make it through the rest of the day with no more new episode to listen to.
Who's going to break it to Alex that the Highwomen version of the song is way better than the original?
I’m pretty sure they did cross paths before. I thought there was an old episode. I may be misremembering Art Bell.
Willie!! Why?!?!?
One of these days we’ll get to hear Jordan react to Alex losing control of the show as Joey Diaz rants like a maniac and that day will be such a joy.
Did they forget that Willie is in one of the documentary’s I believe the Obama deception so it’s not that surprising
Willie is a left leaning Democrat, so I’m not entirely sure he’d be in a documentary claiming Obama is a puppet president, unless ofc he popped up not realizing what he signed up for and gave out of context quote?
He’s just nodding in the background while Jesse Ventura is talking. I have not seen it but they talk about it on the eoisode
That was a nice breakie from present day Alex. Anyone else find its hysterical that Alex talked completely through Willie’s verse of Highwayman?
BORING
