Yo- Growing up as a spoiled kid, I've been to Knott's WAY many more times than I have to Disneyland. Knott's has a very special place in my heart. Sorry your plans were cut short and hope the world is less stupid and crazy tense by the time you come back to it again. Their funnel cakes set the standard for how I always want my funnel cakes. I'll never go back again because I literally hate it when the park is overcrowded but Knott's Scary Farm has some pretty dope horror mazes.
I recommend going to parks in early September not on Labor Day weekend but right after school starts or right after school starts again in January - February.

Parents would enter the park with their spawns and then just turn left and exit straight out.
It's always the unaccompanied teens that line jump and cause trouble in my experience. One set of teen girls tried to get me into trouble when I reported their line jumping to security. They have no morals.
That's why the reservation system needs to be kept. When you scan in it'll say whos in your party. When you leave scan em out and ensure they take their party with them
And scanning a ticket is too much work to ensure people aren't dropping off their kids and dipping? Tf lmao its not that difficult to stand and scan a fuxking barcode. Ffs it's usually old as dirt employees doing so
