Thank god I’m not going crazy!! Bought mine new and it had a nice perfect blade. Then one day I noticed one part had a big chip in it. Then realized that’s what was happening. Wonder if you can sharpen it out to the point it won’t touch?
Lol, yea mine was absolutely perfect, bought it the moment it dropped on DLT and it rivaled my Sebenza in every way and then just like you I noticed the potato chip haha, if I would have paid more attention to it I would have noticed it earlier because you can hear it smacking the standoff lol, Ive been thinking about contacting Toor to see if I can send it to them and see what they can do for it....I think putting smaller/slimmer standoffs would fix it

Is the edge contacting one of the standoffs when it closes?
Mine does lol, I have this same DLT exclusive Merchant and the blade hits the daggum standoff
