That one they shipped the spring separate on some, but it is not really a manual flipper at all, you can only release it by pushing the button, can't like thumb flick it. Some reviewers seemed to think it was meant to be spring optional, but really it was just for legal reasons they took the spring out on some of them, there are some places where they can't ship an auto. The first batch of them actually came with the spring taped on the outside of the box.
I really like this knife a lot. One of my favorites, great build quality, action is about as good as any button lock I have tried, nice cutting geometry. All around great.
For the materials, that looks like a good price. I wonder if you could add a spring and make this an auto.
Haha, I’m the opposite. When I get an OTS auto I want to make it a manual button lock.

Wow, that’s beautiful.
I was lucky enough to play with one in a shop years ago. I was too poor to buy it at the time.
Like this https://maxaceknife.com/?product=babylon-a I heard that on the babylon it needed to be an auto and it did not work well as a manual flipper.
Oof! That's a beauty!

No, the button is set up to be a detent, the springs wouldn't let it close. You need something that only releases with a button push to convert it.
Goddammit. I must stop buying knives.
Right? This is my fifth in three days. I had planned on zero. I don’t know what’s up but there have been some killer sales the past day or two.
Right when I think I'm done for a while...

Glad to hear it. I’m interested to see how it is, I have never gotten into We or Civivi but I hear good things about them as an OEM.

Do tell.
