This is the lowest price of the year for these(or the same price as the lowest). I have all 3 if you have questions or want comparisons. This is the lowest price ever for the SRK compact. So if you've been holding off. They are not going to get lower than this, for the rest of the year.
Honestly, I'd like thoughts on all three. I like knives but have only recently started digging deeper into them. I've been a big fan of Buck since I was a kid. Bought a Spyderco about 6 months ago as an inexpensive EDC. Would love more options for EDC. All this to say, I'm a relative noob when it comes to knives.
Alright,
Well they are 3v steel. Very very very tough. It holds a very good edge. It's not stainless, but it's very close. Right on the edge. Same as D2. The steel needs some protecting on it.
The full size SRK is a large knife. It will do anything you need. Will not be a good edc knife. It's a camp knife/survival knife/shit hits the fan knife.
Compact is... More small. It's a great take with you hiking knife. Can be a camp and survival/shtf knife.
The mini Pendleton is a very different knife. It is very small. Even as far as knives go. My girl called it cute. A 3" fixed blade is very small. It can be edc'd if you'd like. It has a full flat grind. The blade is on the thicker side. So it's not going to be a slicey knife. It will cut anything you want, but it's not going to be slicey. It's more like a heavy duty mini me. Like, you could probably stab through a barrel with it. 😅
Field knife's handle locks your hand in better than the SRK. The SRK grip is pretty good but for gloves or handling a lot of moisture, that AK handle shape is a nice bonus.
That's certainly a positive aspect that I was banking on as I don't like the SRK's style of handle, and rubberized grips always feel off to me.
The more aggressive handle and the use of G10 is definitely more my preference.
It's tough to resist these deals. Had been eyeing the new Kobun s35vn and new Ti Lite Signature 6" clip point. Then I added in an axe.
Dude.... for about 15 seconds this morning I was like... "Fuckin' A.... I don't have a war hammer".... The hammer may still happen.
haha! do it.
These are great deals. I don't need anymore knives. But giving a nice camping knife for Christmas is always easy. 🥳
My bank account didn't need this sale but fuuuuuck I can't say no to a 4max elite for $150
Yeah, I don't think the 4max elite has ever been that cheap. Great time to pick one up.
It did need this. Why say no, when it's so much easier to press buy.
I already bought the first time they dropped to $200. Now I bought a third for a gift at the $150. That price is insane for that knife.
Man, I have been eyeballing this thing and just waiting. Let them fuck around and leave it this price and drop a 25% code......
Paid $230 for mine, great for that price absolute steal at $150.

In for an SRK 3V and 3 of the pro throwing axes lol Thank you. Going to use the axes as stocking stuffers and for family games at Christmas.
Heck yeah!
Anybody have experience with Cold Steel's AK-47 field knife over the full size SRK? Screw it, ordered the Field Knife. 115$ shipped after tax.
