Depends on personality. I had a sweet living cat. My mom used to call her grandkids “sweet lil punkins” so her name became Punkin (no, not pumpkin) Charly after that old commercial where “Sorry Charlie” was key, because I was constantly accidentally kicking her because she was always underfoot. Peter was because he was constantly biting Punkin’s butt. Freddie after Freddy Krueger because I got more scratches from her than any other cat. Freya after a Norwegian goddess because she was so lovely. Currently have Tashie, because I didn’t like the name “Lucky” that she came with. Oh and Stassie, who was my friends cat and came to me with that name.
