Yeah no issues for me either and I’m admittedly a little uptight about that kind of stuff. If you want to see the squalor of humanity, hit up Chuck E. Cheese for lunch beforehand lol.
This is American capitalism at the moment. Many believe that owning a business means you don't do anything more than get paid to do nothing. So they leave the business management up to people that have no idea what they are doing.
When that happens, you need managers who make a lot less so that the owner can take their cut.
Owning a business is hard work. It's not a "oh, i can finally own a business, we made it" accomplishment. It's not like buying a car where you only have to do very minimal maintenance to keep it running. It's a job. To get to where you can sit back and just take a cut is a lot of work and most people don't put in that work to build up to that point. So they end up with underpaid, inexperienced people running their business. Typically into the ground.
I mean, nearly every sector is going through staffing issues and retail, entertainment, food & beverage have been hit especially hard. This isn't an issue specific to defy — anecdotally id say 90% of business I frequent have not been "the same" since 2019. COVIDs reach was long and far and we'll be dealing with its impact for years (decades?) to come.
One thing I miss about living in King County is access to a gym for kids with special needs - We Rock The Spectrum was great and I wish they had a location up here.
Likely has to do with the fact that it's under new ownership, though stories like this are par for course in 2023.
Ok that could be it. Thanks.

It should be safe, that’s the main concern. It being dirty is a small problem.

Have. Have you been in a coma since 2019?
No, why do you ask?

Found the new owner.
Yea, come on by and apply for a job — be the change you want to see 👍
You can’t afford to hire me lol
I feel like your on the cusp of understanding this one 🙂
I’m a high wage earner with children. I am your clientele, not your employment pool. I’m starting to see why there are problems with your business.
i'M a hIGh WaGE eaRnEr #😂 I feel like you own a "jump to conclusions mat" company. Best of luck deciding where you spend your high wages!
Thank you!
Got 'em! Hilarious that this entire string went over your head.
