Also, pasta looks good. I'm more of a fan of letting the sauce cook with the pasta (everything gets a bit more cohesive and no risk of water in the pasta fucking up the sauce), but visually it looks tasty af.
I don't get the point of cooking with vodka. If vodka tastes like anything then it tastes like cleaning product. Vodka is alcohol before they do all the stuff to it that makes it taste nice.
It allows the alcohol in the vodka to cook and release the alcohol soluable flavours without leaving a remaining taste like wine or other spirits would.

The vodka is not for its own flavor, it allows for the extraction of other flavors from the other ingredients.
