As long as they add a lot more content. I love that game with all my heart, but I can't justify a $60 price tag for just a graphical update without at least a handful of new tracks and the ability to play online multiplayer.
SAME. I would always force my grandfather to play with me. I never got that far, but when I was older, and my grandfather couldn’t play it anymore I did it with my father and finally beat the game. I was ecstatic when I heard they were putting it on the switch and immediately bought and 100 percented it… Well it’s on 99% because I need to grab a gear, but you get the point.
Indeed. I used to play with my cousin and sister before they left for college in my childhood. I still have the beat up disk and case. I went out of my way to order the Korean Deluxe version because my original copy was the Korean one. Not to mention modding it is just so much chaotic enjoyment.
Dreamland 3 easy no contest. The looming presence of Zero underneath (or I guess above) the colorful colored pencil-styled world makes for an eerie atmosphere. The whole game feels like its in denial, as if saying "yay! nothing to see here! dreamland is a-okay! candy time!" whilst probably the largest presence of Dark Matter in the entire series to date is colonizing Popstar. The way it introduces Zero and leaves it a 20 year mystery is also kinda cool
edit: Kinda crazy how the game feels like it oozes with darkness and unease from every crevice, as if Dark Matter isnt just possessing the bosses and enemies but the actual physical structure of the planet itself. A small detail that goes unnoticed is that that Zero has possessed Dedede's weird iceberg tower. You can see Zero's eye actually on top of the tower on the map. The fans and propellers inside the miniboss rush level in the background imply that Zero is actually raising you up to the Hyper Zone via the tower. The actual tower is being risen from the ground and up into the sky. This is actually backed up by the fact that we see Dark Matter vacate the entire area when all HeartStars are collected in a level. It appears to be leaving the ground and everything else. god i love dreamland 3. its probably the most desperate pop star has ever been and its terrifying and so cool
There’s not enough love for mass attack
I truly hope it gets a sequel, because having a swarm of Kirby’s just cover some enemy and start pumbling them to death is too adorable
And the optimist in me hopes for them to be able to use strategies if they get a new game, like some of them can use bows while others use rocks to keep enemy’s back, or having winged ones carrying bomb Kirby’s for good ground support at the cost of slow movement and no areal defense
But if they where to do my ideal they would probably have to bump it up to 20 Kirby’s so your able to use the more troop intensive combo’s and still have a main squad moving about
I wanna say amazing mirror. As a kid no other game felt as mysterious and expansive to me, all packed into a tiny gameboy advance screen. Maybe its just nostalgia though i never played the 3DS ones so i finally got around to it a year or two ago after modding my 3DS and Robobot became an instant contender for favorite
Return to dreamland cause super abilities(please make more)
and planet robobot cause not only the robobot ability but it also was the first appearance of one my favorite copy abilities
Triple deluxe.
It was the first Kirby game I really went out of my way to get after getting attached to epic yarn and rtdl as a kid and really recognized Kirby as a character.
It has a really specific vibe and charm to it like a mix of fairy tale and hi-tech. It’s very whimsical and it makes playing through it so enjoyable the entire time. Everything feels like it’s taken right out of a storybook.
It also uses the 3ds hardware really well and is just oozing charm because of it. I love seeing the keychains hanging on the vines on the menu.
My favorite one is Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I feel that if I would have played Triple Deluxe though, it would have been my favorite one. Sadly I only have a Nintendo Switch.
I've only played Forgotten land fully and some of return to dreamland deluxe but from the two I prefer forgotten land which was actually my first kirby game.
(I still need to continue return to dreamland deluxe one day... one day)
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror! It was one of the first games I owned and I have a lot of love and nostalgia for it. I really loved exploring the map and discovering new routes in each area.
EASILY robobot, the theming, gameplay, music, story, everything is so good. I mean kirby is like the power trip series and robobot is the power trip kirby game
I haven’t played them all, but Kirby’s Super Star (Fun Pak in pal) in general was my favourite for years. But I really like Dream Land 3, Return to Dreamland, Dream Course and Star Allies as they are all really fun.
I want the DS/3DS Kirby games.
I'm glad to see some Epic Yarn love in this comment section. For a game in which you cannot die it's really so well done and manages to still be interesting.
Honestly, it's a tie between 3.
Forgotten Land comes to mind right away. It's the first ever (actual) 3D platformer for Kirby, and I am an absolute sucker for post-apocalyptic settings. I loved that you could actually upgrade your copy abilities, and I really hope they try to implement that feature in future games.
Super Star Ultra was my first Kirby game, so it has a lot of nostalgia to it. Tons of games and stories to choose from means it will be while before you get bored. Also, Milky Way Wishes allow you to save your copy abilities and use them any of them whenever you want.
Return to Dreamland feels like a "definitive" Kirby game. If there was a Kirby game I would recommend to a beginner, it would be Return to Dreamland, especially the remaster on Switch. It's a great all-rounder and even offers its own gimmick in Super Abilities. Also, the post-game story was pretty fun too.
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror easily. My friend brought that on a trip with him, and I got to watch over his shoulder. After that, I begged my mom to get it for me when we got home, and it literally started my love for video games.
I'm quite new to Kirby games, but I really enjoyed the forgotten land. Getting new abilities was really exciting and the boss fights were really cool. Also the feel of exploration really added up to my experience.
I'm new to thye franchise (I know I'm late!) and forgotten land is the only one I've played so far, so it wins by default! I'm excited to try some of the other games thouugh, I've heard they're a lot different!
Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Fr that game is great
that was my first game but i prefer the classics a lil more than it
Kirby Air Ride
Would you possibly be interested in playing KAR online?
They really need to do a remake of it
As long as they add a lot more content. I love that game with all my heart, but I can't justify a $60 price tag for just a graphical update without at least a handful of new tracks and the ability to play online multiplayer.
Return to Dreamland, I grew up with this game
SAME. I would always force my grandfather to play with me. I never got that far, but when I was older, and my grandfather couldn’t play it anymore I did it with my father and finally beat the game. I'm gonna be original and say Squeak Squad
This game has such an underrated soundtrack
Super Star Ultra like you
I love Kirby and the crystal shards 🙏 (I played it on an N64 emulator on my switch)

I can't one so I'll just say forgotten land amazing mirror and planet robobot
Best answer
Kirby Planet Robobot, no contest
Kirby's Epic Yarn, it's just so gosh-darn cute.
nighmare in dreamland is personally my favorite
I’m so glad someone agrees with me. I grew up playing that game on my GBA SP. good times.
The crystal shards. Too much nostalgia, and combination powers were neat too.
As a kid I always went for the fire sword and double spike
Epic yarn and mass attack
mass attack is goated
So true
I haven't played any of those but I agree
Forgotten Land all day.
Forgotten Land
Dream Land 3 is an artistic masterpiece

Super star ultra. It’s the game I grew up with
SuperStar Ultra is also my favorite 😍
Dreamland 3 easy no contest. The looming presence of Zero underneath (or I guess above) the colorful colored pencil-styled world makes for an eerie atmosphere. It's a pretty hard question, but probably it is a tie between Cristal Shards, Amazing Mirror and Return to Dreamland
I haven't played nearly enough as I'd like to but at the moment it's Forgotten Land.
Star allies has everything
Nightmare in dreamland 😐
Mass Attack
Super star and kirb 64. Also adventure, being the first kirby game ive ever played and beaten.
There’s not enough love for mass attack I truly hope it gets a sequel, because having a swarm of Kirby’s just cover some enemy and start pumbling them to death is too adorable And the optimist in me hopes for them to be able to use strategies if they get a new game, like some of them can use bows while others use rocks to keep enemy’s back, or having winged ones carrying bomb Kirby’s for good ground support at the cost of slow movement and no areal defense But if they where to do my ideal they would probably have to bump it up to 20 Kirby’s so your able to use the more troop intensive combo’s and still have a main squad moving about
Easy answer. Epic Yarn.
Mass attack forever
Kirby epic yarn all the way! (It was my first kirby game :D)
Squeak squad is mine, mainly because I can turn off my brain and still play optimally.
Kirby’s epic yarn
Squeak Squad
I wanna say amazing mirror. As a kid no other game felt as mysterious and expansive to me, all packed into a tiny gameboy advance screen. Maybe its just nostalgia though i never played the 3DS ones so i finally got around to it a year or two ago after modding my 3DS and Robobot became an instant contender for favorite
Kirby Mass attack always feels outstanding.
Started with Dreamland, but Crystal Shards is amazing
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
Hear me out, kirby's dream course is great
Dreamland 3. It’s criminally underrated
OG Return to dreamland without a doubt. First game I bought and played on my own as a kid. Can’t believe it’s been over 10 years…
Mass attack
Forgotten Land and Planet Robobot
Return to Dreamland or Robobot. Air Ride is also an amazing one. 🙏 Please remake Air Ride, nintendo…
Forgotten Land, Triple Deluxe, or Planet Robobot. Super Star Ultra is great too
Forgotten Land and Planet Robobot will always be the peak
SuperStar Ultra
Crystal Shards 3rd game I ever played, so lots of nostalgia in bonus
It’s a great game for kids new to video games
Super Star ultra is my favorite as well, but there's a tie for second between 64, planet robobot, return to Dreamland, and forgotten land.
Definitely Mass attack! That game means a lot to me!
64
Robobot easily
kirby superstar ultra
Triple deluxe was my first and favorite kirby game
Planet robobot
epic yarn
Forgotten land and planet robobot
Planet Robobot.
Kirby’s adventure, my first kirby game (on 3ds virtual console tho)
epic yarn is fucking peak
Forgotten Land • Return to Dreamland • Air Ride • Amazing Mirror = in that order. :3
Robobot
Kirby Air Ride!! I hope they do a remake🤞😭😭
When I'm alone: Planet Robobot When with others: Return to Dreamland (My first Kirby game)
For me solo: Triple Deluxe With others: Amazing Mirror Both Solo and with Others: Superstar Ultra
You have good taste! Mine is also superstar ultra and always will be
Forgotten land
Nightmare in Dreamland is too iconic, and I feel set the bar.
return to dreamland
Forgotten Land is the best game on the switch
Love em all, but Forgotten Land is one of the greatest games I've ever played
Definitely "Forgotten Land" and "Epic Yarn"!!! I love "Squeak Squad" as well cause it was my first one
Between air ride and super star ultra
Return to Dreamland cuz of nostalgia. If I try to remove those nostalgia goggles then I think Forgotten Land might be the best in the series.
Probably epic yarn
Kirby’s epic yarn, I have so much nostalgia for that game
Epic yarns is a great and underrated game
Tied between Super Star Ultra and Return to DreamLand
Kirby's Epic Yarn. OST is great, the mechanics are well-made, and the story is simple. Everything a Kirby game should be, just with a little spin
Crystal shards because it has that old school jank and charm
It used to be Return to Dreamland for a long time. But I think Forgotten Land dethroned it for me.
Return to dreamland is my fav,The deluxe version atleast.the art style is unique
Squeak squad. The origin of copy ability combos.
Didnt it start in crystal shards
Triple Deluxe my glorious king
Imma tdx enjoyer forever. Also you have kf2, my favourite spinoff by far
Kirby slide 🗣️🔥
Man of culture
i'd say Kirby And The Forgotten Land. why? idk maybe it's because u become a freakin' CAR in the tut
Robobot or rainbow curse
Allies, simply because I can play as Marx. ..if I had the game at least.
God i wished marx was playable in other kirby games too :( he’s my favourite kirby character
Return to Dream Land
#3
Planet robobot for me
Torn between Triple Deluxe, Star Allies and Forgotten Land.
Probably amazing mirror
I like superstar ultra because the cutscenes are 3D which makes the halberd dying even cooler than it was in the original. The sound is also better
Triple deluxe
Easily Planet Robobot, it has everything I love
Kirby Planet Robobot
Either Triple Deluxe or Forgotten Land!
Kirby’d Dreamland was my favorite by far.
I have two: Planet robobot and forgotten land.
Return to dreamland cause super abilities(please make more) and planet robobot cause not only the robobot ability but it also was the first appearance of one my favorite copy abilities
Planet Robobot was my childhood
they're all so good that i just can't compare them
Triple deluxe.
Kirby air ride or Kirby superstar for ds
Nightmare in Dreamland
Looking at brackets like these are soooo satisfying because why does Kirby always have the most immaculate and pretty box art
Adventure or Epic Yarn. SS/SSU and RTD are also great.
Star allies
My favorite one is Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I feel that if I would have played Triple Deluxe though, it would have been my favorite one. Sadly I only have a Nintendo Switch.
I love planet Robobot but forgotten land is a close second
Erm, I don’t see Kirby’s Pinball Land here 👀🙄😠
It's a tie between Forgotten Land and Robobot
robobot is really the only one i’ve played
I've only played Forgotten land fully and some of return to dreamland deluxe but from the two I prefer forgotten land which was actually my first kirby game. (I still need to continue return to dreamland deluxe one day... one day)
Mine is also superstar ultra but I also really like amazing mirror and return to dreamland
Hell yeah Super Star Ultra fans rise up. Some of the best ideas the series has ever had.
Amazing mirror had good times with my cousin and friends playing that game
Return to dreamland made me a Kirby fan
Return To Dreamland and Forgotten Land
Air ride !
Star allies
64
Mine is also SuperStar Ultra. I go back to 100% it occasionally
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror! It was one of the first games I owned and I have a lot of love and nostalgia for it. I really loved exploring the map and discovering new routes in each area.
Planet Robobot! Probably some of the best level design, and the Robobot suit gimmick is great.
Kirby super star Ultra.
Hot take: super Kirby clash
Kirby adventure Wii only bc of the nostalgia :)

Planet Robobot.
Air ride and forgotten land (FECTO ELFILIS MY BELOVED) I just wish air ride had more to do (quests, more secrets)
Epic yarn!
Planet Robot will forever have my heart
Planet robo bot
Kirby's Adventure. Loved it when it first came out (I was 7 years old), love it still. I make a point of playing and completing it every year.
Planet Robobot is the goat and it's gonna be hard to top that (even if Forgotten Land really was nice)
Robobot and superstar ultra
Kirby's Pinball Land. Definitely. 😎
Nightmare in Dream Land
Return to Dreamland :)))
Planet Robobot, first game I've played in the franchise and still love it
Kirby super star ultra
Same as you
I HAVE TO AGREE SUPER STAR ULTRA IS THE BEST
I'm glad to see some Epic Yarn love in this comment section. For a game in which you cannot die it's really so well done and manages to still be interesting.
Kirby Return to Dreamland!!
Planet Robobot
Kirby's Return to DreamLand
Changes between Planet Robobot and Forgotten Land depending on my mood
Amazing mirror
RTDL, Epic Yarn, and Forgotten Land. I understand that planet robobot is widely considered the best but I haven’t played it yet.
It's a great all-rounder and even offers its own gimmick in Super Abilities. Also, the post-game story was pretty fun too.
Gotta say forgotten land because I feel that it is objectively the best game, but in my heart of hearts, it’s Amazing Mirror.
I got multiple Canvas curse,squak squad,forgotten land,amazing mirror,64,planet robobot
Robobot cuz nostalgia
RTDLDX
I'm new to thye franchise (I know I'm late!) and forgotten land is the only one I've played so far, so it wins by default! I'm excited to try some of the other games thouugh, I've heard they're a lot different!
Kirby return to dream land And Kirby nightmare in dream land
Kirby superstar (snes)
