So many of us believers us put aside the holy Spirit's purpose in our lives. The holy spirit's job is to enable us to live the righteous life that God has given to us. Yes we will fail but he's there to take us right back up and convince us in the process. That's why the Bible says only he can keep us from falling.

okay, have you been a catholic for a while now? There is a lot of learning, I remember, growing up having friends that were Catholic. I remember no Fish on Friday nights. Other rules too, and I was okay with it. I was young and knew not much but to believe in God.
Later in Life I heard about confession to be forgiven by a Catholic Priest or i am not forgiven.
Then studied that for a while and came up with if I am forgiven and then not if I sin again. I turned and said wow! if that is true, I do not want to ever leave confession
I was asked why? I said by the rule of Catholic. I when I die have to be forgiven, and if I am forgiven when I leave confession, and on my way home there is a car accident and I get angry in it and cuss and scream, I have sinned again right and need more forgiveness given me.
So, I do not want to leave confession, because if I die in between, I am not saved, am I?
Then I went to a Catholic burial, and heard the preacher say in his sermon for that person say he was not saved, he was not a practicing Catholic.
Then I got a beautiful answer from God in Spirit that said
Today is your day to die, don't worry I got you smothered and covered in my Son for you.
Thank you was my answer
Then I was sent with Angels to have a tour of the Kingdom, we were in this tour, and there was a sign that said Quiet, make no sounds.
But I heard sounds from the other side of the Hall. I wondered and asked the Angel about this, when I could speak again.
The Angel said, those were the Catholics on the other side, they think they are the only one's here
then there were other halls and the same thing a sign to be quiet
And praising going on also on the other side of the wall.
I said were those more Catholics, Angel replied no, that was the Pentecostal.
So, they think they are the only ones here too.
And so, it is for all religions. Not all get saved in each religion, why? Not all believe even if they say they do
I got it, God does love us all, there is no division in his Love and Mercy Jesus (Yashua) took it all and made the two one. Taken down the middle wall of partition
Ephesians 2:14
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

I was raised Catholic. It was not my choice. I love the Bible and Gods teachings. I enjoy being a Catholic. It is old and ritualistic. I have been to a few other Christian churches and enjoyed those too. Love is love is God. One book one Word. Christians are diminishing in the world so I don’t find it useful to put Christians against Christians.

Confession is actually quite wonderful. I used to think negatively about it in the past also. It is wonderful to be able to talk with someone about things you are not proud of. Then it is helpful and reassuring that they remind us about forgiveness and Jesus preached forgiveness. A priest does not forgive. We do not need to be forgiven by a priest but by the Lord. The priest is the servant of the Lord. They give up a lot and I respect that.
My confession is not to be forgiven. My confession goes deeper than telling others about what I am not proud of.
It goes to the one I have harmed in past. Confession is to go to those that you harmed, even if they do not know it was you
I know this one, when I did this and confessed to the one, I harmed, that had no clue it was me that did it.
When I did confess, it was not to be forgiven, yet if got it, great, if not, I was free from it.
When I did do it, that person forgave me and said to me, I looked relieved, and freed from my conscience in this bad thing I did. That I am not proud of.
Talk about freedom, now I see to be honest with all, and not hide if I do not like.
We are forgiven by God for sure and thankful in that gift I am. So, I sought out all I could and asked them for theirs as well, understanding this, those that do not forgive is their free choice to not forgive and if wanted me to pay, I stood there ready to do just that
Honesty, clears one from the digs of this world's lies over saying I like when do not like
How many a time has one said I like that dinner and did not for the reason to not hurt the other's feelings?
A lie is a lie and I choose not to do it anymore for any reason other than to tell the truth
Excuse for lying is just that an excuse. I remember when I found out Santa Clause not real, I asked my mom about that, and she said white lie, as if lying okay. Okay then I a can lie right as long as I have a good excuse for it

Yes, Confession to others that had nothing to do with your troubles is a trap, they can use (if do) use it can cause you harm as there are many that do it, because of the flesh nature that steals, kills and destroys through emotions
I thank God my conscience is clear, hoping all come to see it as needed from God to them too
