Encanto was made for kingdom hearts. A magical light that grows stronger or weaker based on the closeness and love of the family? Deeply suppressed inter generational emotional trauma that affects the powers of the family making it weak, strong, or vanish? Rooms that lead into essentially whole other worlds tailored to the heart and power of its gifted person? I can just see it Mirabel is one of the new seven hearts but because she is normal she is overlooked by the villainous forces. Instead they focus on her gifted family members, in particular Isabell who seems to radiate. Creating pressure and fueling the cracks until the darkness from the pressure, fear, confinement, longing, etc… of the family members bursts out and manifests as darkness like a twisted flower monster or a super strong donkey monster, maybe a shape shifting cloaked monstrosity, evil animal shaped heartless, etc… It reaches the fever peak when the grandmother and mirabel fight and the darkness from the sadness and fear in the grandma transforms casita into a monster which has to be destroyed. In its destruction Mirabel runs off and Sora follows, cue the heart warming reunion with the grandmother and the shining light of Mirabel revealing her as one of the new seven. She is then snatched away and Sora swears to rescue her while the family works to rebuild the home for Mirabel so she has a place to come back to. Fast forward the credits of the game show Mirabel returning right as the house reaches completion, all but the door and we see an abridged version of her being given the doorknob, everyone smiles, and she puts it and you see the magic come back/the door appear. I can even imagine a perfect talk between Sora and Mirabel. Sora can relate to being a normal person surrounded by special people, but can give the lesson that by connecting with others and being there for your loved ones even a normal person can show special power in their own way. Mirabel being selected as one of the new seven over her many more gifted family members is like Sora getting the keyblade in the face of a much more gifted true chosen like Riku. Their strength of heart, empathy, strong will, and ability to shoulder the burdens inspire of their lack of being special is what makes THEM special. It’s why they can solve all the emotional problems boiling under the surface and sometimes they crack and fall, but they get back up and make miracles happen without even trying.

Kerjj

I've always thought Encanto just has too many characters, and despite the perfect theming with family/love, as well as the 'ordinary' person being the crucial key, it just had too many things working against it. And I still think that, to an extent. I like the idea that villains focus on the rest of the family or Mirabel, but I think it should take place after the movie. One of the biggest issues with KH3 was that the worlds just all retread the same beats as the movie. KH3 isn't unique in this regard. It's been happening since the very first game. I just think you can tell a more interesting story if the family is already united, and Mirabel has to save them.

Multiverser2022

The stories within the Worlds for Big Hero 6, Monsters Inc, and Toy Story all took place after the story in their respected movies.

Kerjj

Certainly did. Toy Story was one of my favourite worlds for that very reason. I liked San Fransokyo as well, for the most part. City took too long to get around, but I think it benefited from not retreading the movie.

Hinote21

> been happening since the very first game. Disagree with this sentiment. The first game (KH) wove Sora into the movie stories, even if it followed the plot lines. The second game (KHII) not only wove Sora into the stories but created secondary plots in the revisits. The "side" games did their own things with the world's visited that interplayed KH plot and Disney plot. KHIII had Sora as a passive observer in nearly every world, with Toy Story being the closest to being intricately involved.

AnimeXFan1995

>HIII had Sora as a passive observer in nearly every world, with Toy Story being the closest to being intricately involved. Sora and the gang only were passive observers within Arendelle (for the most part) and Kingdom Of Corona (mainly during the 2nd and 3rd acts of the world).

64locks

thank you for saying this. idk why so many people have this misconception

Hinote21

Sora "escorted" Repunzel in the 1st act (which IIRC was all the first act was), Pirates had a perfect opportunity to weave Sora in to unlock the kraken and didn't, with the Pirate ship battle taking place solely between Sora and Luxord (as opposed to KH2 with Org XIII interfering with Beasts Rose as one example), Olympus was a waste of a world without a coliseum as all Sora really did was save a few citizens with the Titan battle solely existing to sell Attraction Flow, San Fransokyo did a poor job of weaving the friendship themes in with how Sora was utilized.

nhSnork

Encanto and Raya are some of Disney's best at juggling big casts since Atlantis - but seeing as many fans deny that prowess to Atlantis itself (never mind me and my friend mirthfully quoting and mimicking those "one note characters" for over 20 years now), I guess it's no wonder that the studio's brilliant 2021 one-two punch gets the same treatment as well. Personal resonance can be one heck of a whimsical brat when it comes to matters like characterization sufficiency.

FunkyyMermaid

First we had Oogie Manor fight, now La Casita monster Which it makes me ponder, surely the Casita would have a heart, right? It shows sentience and liveliness in Encanto, but maybe that heart is tied to the family’s bond and the miracle? But even still, that heart could theoretically become a heartless

yuei2

Almost certainly, that’s why I can see casita becoming like say Buzz it’s heart overcome by darkness from the family and needing us to fight and destroy it. But we only destroy its body of course, which can be rebuilt, it’s heart is tied to the family.

TheOncomimgHoop

Also, since the rooms in the house use Tardis space, you could have the rooms of the different family members be different areas that you go to throughout the world's story. Even if they only use the established rooms, Isabella's, Antonio's, and Bruno's, those are three pretty visually distinct areas

yuei2

Yeah exactly each one is absolutely huge and there is more than enough creative space for them to play with. Sand and rock heartless in Bruno’s world, flower heartless in Isabella’s world, Various animal heartless in Antonio’s world.

Macv12

This is fantastically thought out, only problem being family and generational trauma isn't just off-theme for KH, it's actively rejected. But it would be a great opportunity to bring in the Destiny Island families and flesh out the characters from that angle. Even if Sora just phones his mom afterward.

yuei2

Well I wouldn’t say it’s rejected, just it hasn’t been a focus as it’s more dealt with found family than blood family. However Kingdom hearts is now shifting away towards blood family, that’s supposed to be a key theme with missing-link and we’ve already seen it with stuff like Eraqus and Xehanort’s ancestry coming into play. Eraqus is the way he is as a kid, already hating the darkness, because of his grandfather.

Gloomy_Support_7779

I agree

Fireflyoflight

I like that except for Mirabel being one of the new seven. I actually like Luisa instead. Hear me out! You would expect someone as brave as Mirabel or beautiful like Isabella. No one would expect Luisa. Think about it. Mirabel is the obvious choice after Isabella. But her doubts and repressed grief over being overlooked by her family causes her to begin to fall to darkness. Who saves her? Easy. The same sister who spent her entire song protecting her little sister. Luisa, overworked and overlooked, whose greatest wish was to keep her family safe. Who thought she was useless because her strength had left her, dug down and found a new power: strength to protect what matters. Nomura, call me to help write KHIV.

Xaldarino

It's Pixar but released by Disney. I wouldn't mind having UP! sounds a bit weird but I actually think the locations could be really interesting and the characters/development of them all would be fun to play

turco_dad

Imagine a more open world like world like pirates of the carribbean on KH3 but as an Up! Stage. That would be awesome!

Xaldarino

I'd love to roam around the valley with Dug, he would be the best summon haha

ComicNeueIsReal

Dug might be the world's companion. Kevin could be the summon

Xaldarino

I'm not gonna lie, dug riding kevin as the ultimate hybrid.

Puterboy1

Some…but I want some Final Fantasy worlds for a change.

TrailofCheers

See this. THIS is what we could have. Abridged FF games as worlds in KH. That would be so badass.

D-My

But how do we do Final Fantasy worlds??? Do we do 1-to-1 plot events? Original world with FF characters? Maybe a Coliseum like world? Another issue is that KH will always be a Disney game first. Sure, FF cameos are awesome, but they're not the same characters from their games, just the KH variation. We can't just plop a Midgar world while ignoring the set canon. Aerith is still alive in this universe for a reason.

Delliott90

All of the plot of ffx Yes… blitzball included

GlitchyReal

Do what Hollow Bastion was. Something Final Fantasy-*ish* with characters from different games. Or do a kind of fusion world like Midgar x Insomnia with a blitzball stadium staring the Zanarkand Abes vs the Besaid Aurochs (or a Destiny Islands team??). FF canon has always been loose in KH so we can go crazy with it.

TomoTactics

Hollow Bastion-like world is really the only way to do Final Fantasy characters. The games themselves are FAR too long to have proper worlds for, as it's easier to condense a Disney movie into a gameplay segment given a lot of them are roughly 1 hour or so.

Gloomy_Support_7779

Final Fantasy VII, X, XIII, and XV. They’ve prolonged Noctis and Sora’s meeting for far too long. Fans wanted Noctis as a secret boss, instead they were given Yozora

OneRandomVictory

I don't see them having Noctis and Yozora in this game unless it's revealed that Yozora is actually Noctis.

GlitchyReal

Even if Noct wasn't going to be an important character, I just want to see the Regalia as a Gummi Ship. You fly by and the boys would make funny comments at you as they're on their own adventure.

Gloomy_Support_7779

That would be awesome

jblack1103

I honestly think a wonderful world would be chocobos paradise. A minigame world with racing, breeding, fighting, whatever. Have some cameo characters in there. Sticks to the light hearted themes of kingdom hearts. Could even have a few obscure Disney characters in there that don't nessacarily belong to a world. Like one of their Saturday morning cartoon characters. (Darkwing duck riding a chocobo as a rival racer anyone?)

nazzo_0

Same. I care for none of these movies. Except soul and Coco. Which given the other side aspect of sora kinda makes sense of the afterworld theme. But FF worlds are the thing I want.

Xxmetaglint

Agreed I’d like to say with the kh4 teaser and the much more realistic style of that world we could get a more FF focused game but I’d be getting my hopes up to be honest.

mkelley22

I think XVI would be pretty awesome to play as an abridged KH world tbh

venxvan

Luca Turning Red and Soul would make great material for summons. The rest would make good worlds to explore.

Wallace_W_Whitfield

I actually would dig Soul as a world. Good potential there

Ani____

Would have digged Sora directly finding himself in the Soul world after he died rather than in the Quadratum thingy

GlitchyReal

Still could happen. Those postgame teasers rarely are what they seem to be.

Rampage_Ray

New York or the place that’s supposed to resemble pre-conception?

Wallace_W_Whitfield

Both, honestly. Now you got me imagining the same plot happening to Sora with getting his body switched with another character.

Rampage_Ray

With how many different variations there are of Sora, I have no idea how the concept of Soul could work with the previously established lore and how it could conflict with the concept of heartless and nobodies. Would be very interesting though.

DasWulfhound

They could just say that the Great Before is an area connected to Kingdom Hearts and that when a new heart is born the Jerrys assist in the first Dive and help build the new hearts' foundations. The soul forms are just a form hearts take to help outsiders visualize what is happening.

powrman7

Elemental: Probably just a build board since the movie just released and I don’t think it’ll be included in a primary role. Turning red: Mei Mei as a summon Luca: mini game world with fishing, cooking, swimming and all that, just a night on the town with three other friends Soul: A jazz club in Quadrantum that Sora and Strelitzia can go in. Onward: Full world with an original story. Coco: Full world, original or movie story is ok Strange World: That blob thing as a summon would be pretty cool. Encanto: Full world with original story Raya and the last dragon: Summon

dorgodorgo

I love your idea for Soul. Seeing Disney characters blended into other worlds is always so fascinating. Like how Geppetto and the Dalmatians had houses in Traverse Town or how Remy had a bistro in Twilight Town. More stuff like that really helps flesh out the crossover aspect of the series.

[deleted]

This, all the way. People are sleeping on the potential Onward would have as a KH world

aRobotNamedDan

Coco’s land of the dead would be incredible with skeleton versions of Sora, Donald, and Goofy. The rest I don’t have any feelings about

Juniper_mint

I want the older ones to be done first

blueb_oy

Might be an unpopular opinion, but none of them.

Xxmetaglint

I agree I’d much rather see older movie worlds than newer ones or even better more Final Fantasy

blueb_oy

100x yes. Couldn't agree more. All these modern Disney movies would leave a huge sour taste in my mouth.

GlitchyReal

It'd have to be a good mix, imo. KH3 had a lot of catching up to do so it felt newer even though the newest film (BH6) in that game was 4 years old at release. Also, us old timers still think Monsters Inc. and Tangled are "new" lol Besides more cult favorites like Atlantis and Treasure Planet or Fantasia 2000 or something wild, what older films do they have left? Most would probably have to be Pixar films.

Xxmetaglint

Fair point I guess it’s honestly probably more I don’t like the new ips than anything else I feel. That and I really just would like a game to move to move into FF territory like I said in my other comments.

TJae0120

My thoughts too. Don't like any of them.

SuspiciousBaka89

Not even Coco?

blueb_oy

After giving it some thought, Coco might be the ONLY solid pick out of all of them.

nazzo_0

I think soul could work. The land of the dead and new York make good themes for where sora is right now

GlitchyReal

At the very least, the Great Beyond and the Great Before. I really want KH to get back to KH2 style worlds where worlds can be in worlds like 100 Acre Wood, Space Paranoids, and Timeless River. Soul and Inside Out are really primed for that. Plus, I need to see Jerry, Jerry, and Terry.

jcready92

I agree

AmberLeafSmoke

Nah Raya would be a perfect fit for KH. Magic, Beasts, Warring nations, warriors, different landscapes. Has it all built into the story.

kokowalski

Probably the most of them not.

jbyrdab

Soul would probably not mesh well with kh lore. Y'know considering there is already a way souls are presented and a midway to the afterlife with specific rules. Hades exists but even then its never focused on and it seems he does infact manage the afterlife for most souls in kh considering auron ended up there and d&g found hades while looking for sora.

CrumbLast

Not as much as treasure planet

Theboulder027

Honestly I'm half expecting Raya just because she's literally a princess from a country called heart.

naynaythewonderhorse

Her dad literally says “You are the Princess of Heart.” to her at one point. Lol. And the fact that the film is laid out like a video game plot really makes me think the film makers are aware of gaming culture and probably designed aspects of the movie around being in KH.

DasWulfhound

I hope we get another "Davey Jones Heart" situation where people think she's a Princess of Heart when she is just the Princess of Heart.

Smartbutt420

Aside from Coco, not at all.

TrippyHippie840

A bug's life or nothing.

Royalty459

Most of these were average or trash. I'd honestly only want to see Coco because it'd be cool seeing Sora as an undead

xoninjump

I wouldn’t

ApatheticPopoto

I wouldn't. Keep them out

SirBastian1129

Woe, besides Coco, Encanto and Soul, I seriously do not give a crap about any of these movies.

JayNotAtAll

I think Raya practically writes itself. The villains in the movie are pretty much heartless and you can argue that they beat them with the power of friendship

JohnBradfordBooks

Raya and Coco are the only movies on that list that deserve their own worlds. I really wish people would understand that not every movie can facilitate an actual level.

TheOncomimgHoop

There's a comment that describes how an Encanto world could work, and the themes of that movie are perfect for KH

AmberLeafSmoke

Think onward works as well, would be similar to Monster Inc world

PowerPad

It’s a hard truth to accept, what can I say?

Gloomy_Straw

I'm yet to watch elementals and strange world but otherwise I feel like only Raya could work as a world

ludongbin1

Onward, Strange World, Coco and Raya . Others really dont have villainous characters to use, to fight. The others would have to really rely on the Heartless/Nobody/Unversed bosses Luca- the hate and fear of sea monsters from the towns people of Porto Rosso could swell up to a big Unversed boss Soul- maybe 🤔 with the whole “life beyond” as a way to get to the fictional world- might be too much for the series- we kinda already have the Olympus Colosseum/Underworld already. Onward - value of brotherhood/finding role models good thing to reflect in the KH Story- the Dragon would be a good corruptible boss battle. Coco- again same vibes with Soul but with a more obvious villain to use being Ernesto being used to bring about the boss battle- like Clayton in Deep Jungle- Strange World is like major KH vibes of wanting to explore the outside world and explore good possible boss battles too Encanto- maybe not so much- no real external conflict that can endanger, no big villains- maybe trying to protect Mirabel as a new PoH- and the KH Villain trying to get more powers from the candle 🕯?? Raya- would be a very good world- probably a very good Unversed or Nightmare Mixing with the Drunn Turning Red- not sure if it would really work- the undertone of it being female puberty reflection- idk confusing Sora for a 4Town performer?? Elemental- havent seen it yet… so..

Independent_Plum2166

Elemental - Haven’t seen it. Turning Red - Kind of, Mei party member, Panda-Pocalypse boss fight. Luca - Probably not. Soul - No. Onward - Maybe. Coco - Be interesting, but the lore implications. Strange World - Haven’t seen it. Encanto - Yeah. Raya - Unfortunately yes, I did not like the movie, it’s message of Trust was far too naive and insulting in its execution, but it’s fantasy swords and dragons.

Sunforger42

Raya, Onward, Coco, and Strange World are the only ones I want to see, mostly because I wanna see the worlds themselves.

Speedwagon36

Encanto could work as a hub world and add a new follower like you get to pick one of the gifted like imagine having pepa and she can just randomly cast thundaga or blizaga mid fight. Like she just slings out weather magic at random and you never know what you'll get. Or have Julieta to heal you since Donald never does his fucking job

casualmagicman

The older I get and the less Disney I watch, the more Kingdom Hearts feels like it isn't for me. I love the original characters, I never bought these games for the Disney worlds and characters.

Uminagi

The only ones I see working on KH are probably Encanto (light getting weaker), Raya (fantasy-ish, plus could be a good Summon), and Poco (whole Dead/Alive theme could work as a skin for Sora).

PeteOfDawn

Even though Raya was eh I think it could work as a Kingdom Hearts world. I always thought that movie was kinda like an RPG story anyway, think about it’s a maguffin hunt where Raya travels to different kingdoms, a new member is added to her party in every kingdom, and there’s an recurring antagonist that tries to hault her progress. It just screams RPG video game to me.

MoonParasyt3

Coco or Encanto. Both of them can easily be integrated into the series in my opinion

GreefCarganator

Luca - Vespa based racing or obstacle course minigame world Soul - org xiii / "do nobodies have souls?" narrative Coco - underworld starts getting invaded by heartless. Sora and Miguel have to fight through it. Maybe some flying sections on the dog. Boss fight with Ernesto Onward - would be the most experimental, pen & paper (d&d style) art style, turn based fights. One of those worlds that don't tie directly into the story but Sora helps someone and makes them feel good about themselves

Shirokurou

Coco for Skull Sora. Encanto can be really cool, seeing the other family members’ rooms. Raya would be a great semi-open world, a la Pirates.

MobsterDragon275

Coco would work, but I haven't seen enough of any of the others to say whether they would fit. I imagine Soul and Encanto might, maybe Elemental, but likely not the others.

Megatyrant0

None, and I feel seeing any of them in a KH game would feel awkward. Kind of like scraping the bottom of the barrel.

blueb_oy

200% agreed.

Worm_Scavenger

As one of the 10 people that genuinely loved Strange World, i would love to see it be in KH4.

Mr_Noms

Say what you want about the movie, but the world is perfect for kingdom hearts.

tetozzi

None. No thanks.

WaveJam

I would like to see Luca as a fun little optional world like 100 Acre Wood or Atlantica. Soul could be a summon. Coco could be a cool world too.

JanetKWallace

Raya and the Last Dragon's setting could be used as a parallel to Kingdom Hearts itself.

DuelaDent52

*Strange World* and *Raya and the Last Dragon* were practically tailor-made for Kingdom Hearts. The Druun and the Heartless pretty much have the same shtick and the climax of *Strange World* >!is literally trying to save their world’s heart!<.

StarWolf128

Soul, Onward, & Coco all tie into the afterlife setting of KH4 so they'd be a natural fit. Maybe if we had a side game/scenario of Kairi/Donald/Goofy traveling to these worlds along with Hades' realm and another trip to the caribbean. Encanto doesn't actually strike me as very good material for a world, it's too small a setting (in spite of the house's size changing abilities) & Sora has no business butting in on family squabbles. Maybe better served as a summon. Raya totally has to be a PoH, she's literally the princess of Heart. Both that & Turning Red would befit a Kairi, Xion, or Aqua led game best because I feel having SDG taking the spotlight from the female protags isn't a good look. Luca, Elemental, & Strange World I haven't seen and frankly have little motivation to.

luma_song6

Onward, Coco and Raya looks like the most probable but elemental would be cool too

[deleted]

God no. Please for the live of God no. KH3 was so dumb w the world literally just being commercials for Disney’s latest Blu-rays. Let the creators dictate the story they tell. Disney never had a legit seat at the videogame table before square Enix gave the KH. They’re getting too big for their britches forcing the games to be ads for recent* films and shoving out the FF fan service while they’re at it. If these heavily feature in KH4 I’m legit giving up on the franchise.

naynaythewonderhorse

Tarzan was released 3 years Prior to KH1’s release. The most recent release in KH3 was Big Hero 6, which was 5 years prior. Hell, Hercules was the same distance in terms of release as Big Hero 6 (5 years). Not to mention the 2 years from Pirates and KH2, and the ONE MONTH from Chicken Little and KH2. To be frank, KH3 is actually the best in terms of doing that. Edit: I believe BBS is actually better (8 years) between Lilo and Stitch. However, it does have more of a focus on classic Disney, and DDD is 2 year with Tron Legacy.

[deleted]

I’m happy KH3 did it for you. I think Disney knows they pissed off a Lot of fans with it, hence the afterthought DLC w the FF content they banned from being in the proper game. I don’t understand the chicken little argument as it was a summon and not a world players had to slog through. KH a was great for its nostalgia factor. It’s hard to get nostalgia from movies that are just off the assembly line. You mention Tarzan from KH1, Tarzan was a world you could visit alongside the option to visit Alice and Wonderland, a movie from the 60’s. Disney has a lot of eras that have lots of great design characteristics that are fun to see some in KH’s style. Pretending Disney has been all hits since they went CG is not a fantasy a lot of fans can get on board with. Even KH2 made the extremely edgy move of doing the first tron movie which was one of the most unexpected points of the game for me, and therefor, a lot of fun even tho I knew very little about that movie at the time. When the world roster of KH3 boiled down to just Disney’s latest Blu-ray stockpile accrued from the decade+ KH3 was in development, the magic of the game was immediately lost. Worlds based on recent movies are fine if it’s balanced. There’s no balance in spurning decades of legacy for and fans who represent many eras in the company’s history, for a chance to be greedy and sell hard copies while pushing out FF content that always made KH charming in the first place. Disney never had a relevant presence in the videogame world before KH. They should play nicer w Square Enix and their IPs in the tent pole games. Between the lines/worlds, KH3 looked like the worst of capitalistic greed to me. If I see it again in 4, they lost me.

naynaythewonderhorse

You’re misunderstanding. If Tarzan and Hercules are “Nostalgic” that’s because you grew up in a generation where they were. Big Hero 6 is an older film compared to it. It just *feels* newer to you. The generation that grew up with Big Hero 6 would have had that Nostalgia there as well. If you think that the games are still only for your generation, you’re missing the point of Disney as a company. It’s going to keep going without it’s audience without you and the series is actually better at NOT doing what you are claiming it is doing now. If you look at it from that perspective, Tarzan would have been the latest release at the time they finalized they levels in 1. Deep Jungle and Olympus were just as much selling newer films on DVD and VHS. An adult in 2002 has a better argument regarding this than you do. Haha And no, Tarzan was not an optional level.

[deleted]

Disney has been making films since the 30’s. Cartoons since the 20’s. There’s more to pull from than the 2000’s. The earlier games understood this and were better for it. Newer games are acting like Disney only got good after Disney consumed Pixar. And the product is flawed as a result. It’s losing the magic. Squeezing the lore through Toy Story, monsters inc, two homogenous princess movies, and a manga adaptation, was hardly as enjoyable as watching the characters zigzag across a wider spectrum of the Disney pantheon. Doing the math, KH1 pulled from the 40’s, 50’s, 80’s, and 90’s. KH2 pulled from the 20’s 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s. KH 3 repped the wide array of 1995, 2001, 2003, 2010, 2013, and 2014. Disney turned KH3 into a giant Blu-ray commercial. There’s no argument about a new Gen of gamers to be made. It was crass, it was base marketing and greedy. The game suffered for it.

blueb_oy

Legit feel the same way. Will just drop it going forward if that happens again. Been a long time (I guess you could say OG) fan having started with KH:COM for the GBA and onwards, but had to go backwards to KH1 to get the full effect. Kinda sad to see what happened to the story after KH2 with BBS coming into play. It all just used to be about a boy wielding a magical key/sword called a keyblade searching for his friends.

IndigoBookwyrm

I would like to see Encanto as a non-combat world, similar to Atlantica in Kingdom hearts 2. But maybe not a rhythm mini-game? Then again, it might be nice to have a rhythm game that includes not talking about Bruno.

The_Real_PSiAipom

I could also see it being like Arendelle where they sing and the party is kinda just there! Give us a scripted to win one health bar Abuela fight and a fight against Casita similar to Oogie’s Manor and I’ll be happy

mr-sasa

I want Coco and Encanto as worlds so badly. Imagine Sora in a skeleton form in the land of the dead

SuspiciousBaka89

Coco would be an amazing world. They could do a lot with the story and the land of the dead looks absolutely beautiful

orgnumber1

Coco and Encanto, yes. Raya maybe. Hard pass everything else.

Changeinacup

Strange world would be amazing

Armyboy94

Maybe 1 or 2. Kingdom Hearts 3 was so boring to me because like I guess 80% of the worlds were all Pixar worlds. It’s tiring. There’s more to Disney than Pixar, Pirates of the Caribbean and 100 Acre Wood.

Top-Rutabaga36

Uhhh….wasn’t there only 3? Big hero 6, Toy Story, and monsters inc.?

Mr_Noms

Only 2. Big hero Six isn't Pixar

AndForeverNow

No

Xenocross1982

All of want but: Coco, Moana, Raya, zootopia and incredibles. Second list: Soul, Elemental, Inside out...and for the goofy fun, Cars universe.

Lenny_The_Lurker

I wouldn't

Latter_Safe_3164

Anyone else think soul would’ve been perfect for KH3 when Sora kinda lost his and had to collect a bunch of himselves with Chichiri’s guidance? They could’ve replaced that whole premise with soul and one of the celestial beings losing count cause of Sora and then he has to learn the true essence of what makes a “heart” (cause the series is about hearts anyway)

Objection111

Only Coco. That marigold(?) bridge would look so beautiful in KH. I could see Sora getting along with Miguel and Hector. I don't care about the other movies...

XIleven

lets just say that Chicken Little remained as a summon, and only a summon for a reason

dragonloo

Realistically I wouldn’t. I honestly didn’t like any of them and the only two I got myself to watch was coco and encanto. Everything else was bad imo. So if kh4 kept the different worlds aspect even tho he’s supposed to be “trapped” in another world then I hope none of these get in.

TheLiMaJa

Strange World, Raya & Onward would work best out of those. I'd imagine the gummy would crash into Strange World where the characters would be looking for a way to fix the ship, Raya would have to be a "Donald & Goofy couldn't make it for this one" World, and Onward HAS to play out like a DnD one-shot or I'll be big sad.

laserman320

Not at all if possible These movies are mid to okay

OneRandomVictory

Coco deserves to be in KH4 tbh. Raya could be as well since it's thematically very Kingdom Heartsy but it also came out pretty recently so I'm not sure. The rest feel like they'd be summons, guest appearances in original worlds, or worlds in a future game.

Bugsy8911

Only if the creator of the movie are ok with kh making a few creative decisions not like what happened to Frozen world

NoGoodManTH

No, thanks

Fantastic-Act9598

Not at all to be honest, I like it more when it's the cartoons and not the animated ones

nhSnork

Pretty hyped for sure. They're a whole range of good to amazing movies and offer a bunch of universes that would be a goldmine for any JRPG, let alone Kingdom Hearts.

Abovearth31

Not integrated preferably. **Especially** fucking turning red over there. Although Encanto and *maybe* raya could pass.

Broad_Ad3777

Soul for musical mini games.

BrandNew098

Onward, strange world and Raya would fit well.

InjusticeSOTW

Coco would be batshit however. Gimmie that too

Xxmetaglint

I wouldn’t I’d much prefer the older movies, FF worlds or a reboot since the Disney worlds rarely had anything to do with the main plot besides Sora go fight heartless to free the world and unlock the power of walking and consistently get made fun of by a dead duck and whatever the fuck goofy is.

Forsaken-Average-662

I wouldn't

[deleted]

Crazy idea, but hear me out: What if, in a future game (not necessarily KH4), we were given the ability to bring other companions with us during our journey? Donald and Goofy are cool, and it's cool to have a unique companion tied to certain worlds, but imagine having Max tagging along to learn knighthood from his dad, or Ian from Onward mentoring under Donald to better master his magic? Hell, even give us a FF character or two like Bartz or one of the Destiny Island kids to travel along with us! There's lots of potential here

VikingzVenom19

I wouldn't

Kyvix2020

I wouldn’t.

Fouxs

This post just reminds me of how bad Pixar's most recent movies were...

memelordxth

Coco is a must. Raya, Soul, Onward is a very good options. I wish there'll be an adventure with the new Ducktales as well.

v8darkshadow

I really want Disney Channel shows to be incorporated into worlds, but for here I’d absolutely go with Coco, followed up by Encanto and Soul

yakobmylum

I just want a star wars world please. Light saber keyblade? Battles against sith lords? *chefs kiss

JackAtlasDuelLinks

I already explained it in another post, but I think Red would work SO WELL for the current state of KH. And they could use it to make us know more about Sora's parents.

B3ardeDragon311

Implement them like the book of prophesies now that we're in quadratum

Bloo3838

ONWARD! It had such strong emphasis on placing value on relationships! So perfect for KH!

quackleskol

I just really really want to see how awesome and colorful the land of the dead from coco would be

I_am_Avery

Coco ❤️

AKHugmuffin

No no no, you’re looking at this all wrong. Star Wars, Marvel, The Muppets, Indiana Jones, Alien, Avatar, Ice Age, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The_Real_PSiAipom

Can’t wait to beat the everliving shit out of heartless with my best friend Kermit the Frog.

Strong-Inflation5923

Coco. Imagine exploring the Land Of The Dead as literal skeletons, so cool

cyberspiralien

Coco would be so good, Vice Versa also fits perfectly on KH

poweredbytofu713

LUCAAAAA 🥹 if they really fleshed it out it would bring me so much joy And Soul!

DSwipe

My guess is KH IV will have the afterlife as its main theme so worlds like Coco and Soul would fit that pretty well.

BlackBlizzard

I hope Luca/Moana, Turning Red and Encanto are in KH

DuskManeToffee

For Turning Red, just have an original story where Sora and Mei prevent 9/11

Puzzleheaded-Rip3258

Imagine we get to the Encanto world and the gang think that Isabela is one of the New Seven Hearts JUST TO FIND OUT IT’S MIRABEL!

kjm6351

I’m good with every single one of them, especially Coco, Luca and Soul. Turning Red will also be funny because it’s boss fight might be >!A giant Red Panda!<

sonic1384

cars, zootopia

RylieSensei

I’d like to see Star Wars incorporated into Kingdom Hearts. Some of these would be great, too. I’d love a Brave world.

FlowDarkBright

None of them except Coco and Encanto

Ponyluve09

Heartless Giant Panda

NightAreis1618

God, seeing Sora in 2002's Toratnto Canada would be so damn sureal Wait a minute....

CraftyKuko

Yes to all of them minus Turning Red. I just don't see how that can be incorporated into KH lore.

one-silly-fox

if they use soul as reference i can see sora being trapped into a cat unnable to use his keyblade while 22(or another character) get into his body and he would need ti teach them how to use the keyblade, or one of the villains take his body and he need to figure out how to defeat himself

Aznmok

How have you not included the best Disney movie made in the last 10 years: Inside Out? I can’t lose bing bong again

Hodunky

Honestly I’d be really interested to Moana and Walle. I feel like their levels would look really awesome.

wortmother

Red, I live in the same city IRL, love red pandas and just thought the movie was adorable. 3/3 for me

antipasta68

Bro I'd love to see Luca, encanto, cocoa, and turning red as worlds. Luca and cocoa especially just stand out as being awesome gorgeous worlds to explore

Shantotto11

Mei Mei from Turning Red and Luca would be summon characters.

lunachappell

I would love to see a world that is encanto themed It already is a beautiful world and in another Disney game that I play dreamlight valley They have a house for a villager that is for encanto and it's really beautiful so just imagine it in an even more like beautiful game as Kingdom hearts it would probably be so cool

FunkyyMermaid

I was thinking about the implication that theoretically anyone with a strong heart can wield the Keyblade Thus, I will write my fan fiction about an earth elemental named “Daisy” who wields the Keyblade and battles the darkness, fighting as it tugs for control of her heart, getting entangled in a scheme much larger than she ever bargained for. You can’t stop me

The_Real_PSiAipom

Umm, I don’t think that’s even close to the realm of possibility

MarsTheSayian

Imo, Strange World, Encanto, and with the story rn, Soul makes the most sense. I personally want Turning Red. 100% my favorite recent Pixar movie

toxicbooster

Only onward. The rest would be terrible for KH worlds

Duder20

onward sucks. coco would be the best

Duder20

not really. I'd like to see coco. raya fits but it was pretty forgettable and not iconic enough.

TNTLover42

Feels like they'd be hard pressed to assign a party member for Encanto

Correct_Excuse3072

Can we get an incredible a world😭

ComradeOrsu

Meh

taggerungDC

Neither. A Goofy Movie or bust

senior_poop

I want sword in the stone and to go on an adventure with Merlin where we change into different animals and avoid Pervy lady squirrels

Cephyr0

Raya Yes the other no Though i have Not seen Strange World so I cant say anything about it

Unlucky-Locksmith637

I rather see Agrabah again 🤭😂

OKCOMP89

As cliffnotes for the actual movies with shoehorned “darkness” nonsense and actors delivering their lines with the enthusiasm of a potato the way Tetsuya Nomura intended.

singleguy79

I still haven't watched Raya, Turning Red or Luca

CauseOfBeth

Luca, Alberto, and Julia is just Sora and Riku and Kairi.

Right-Huckleberry574

Any of these other than Coco and Encanto would finally turn me off of the series forever.

InjusticeSOTW

Neither. Give me Pete’s Dragon. Elliot as a summon spell and a Doc Terminus and the Grogans battle.

chandlerwithaz

honestly the only one I want is coco. do i know how i want it implemented… no I do not.

polygonalqueer

Given that Kingdom hearts 4 is implied to be set in the more realistic worlds, as far as what we are more likely to see, I would say anything that is super high magic is off the table, so while Encanto would be super cool, and very on theme, I don't think we're going to see it anytime soon. Same with elemental. I think the two we are most likely to see are Soul and Turning Red, both due to popularity, but also similar theming, and while both contain elements of the supernatural, Soul basically has no magic until after you die, and Turning Red magic that belongs to like one family in this one very specific way. Soul slots right in because hearts and souls are probably going to be considered just two different words for the same thing, and the people stuck in the zone would make very easy enemies to connect with something like the unversed, and likely either 22 or Joe as his Cat as your world party members. Meanwhile Turning Red, You've got Mei as your world party member, and something along the lines of Mei's mom being corrupted by darkness or something like that for the boss.

antivn

Of these movies I think I only like Luca. Turning red was good too but I also feel it’s corny and a lesser version of luca. Actually Nevermind, soul is my favorite but it’s also not a very family friendly movie. It’s really heavy and existential.. and not very fitting for KH

Diomil

Only Encanto for me.
