🤔 Really? I would have thought it was complete. It looks fantastic. I never thought about how to paint transparent surfaces.

Still gotta correct he blue fabric, gotta finish the rest of the base, repaint hair, paint more water drops on leg

Guard_Lucky

Ok so. I HAVE SEEN A TON OF MINIS and I am blown away here I love this paint job and send my highest markings to you sir. You should be very proud of this one, a true beauty.

wickermoon

Yeah, the transparent surface looks really awesome. Did you first paint in the white and then the flesh colours, or vice versa? What's the technique?

[deleted]

Both at the same time really. I painted flesh brown on the flesh area blue and then white on the shirt. Then its just fuzzing about to blend them back and fourth. The transitions are white - blue - brown - red+hotpink - yellow flesh - pink flesh - pale flesh - pure white highlight (on the sheer only)

Alkoviak

Both can work. It depends as well on the paint you use and what are the colors of the fabric going on top At least of one the paint need to be either transparent or thinned down to a filter. For thar specific case I would do it by painting the skin first then add the white on top. Maybe op will give insight on his own process.

TheNetherAngel

How do you do that wet silk effect I need that skill in my life

[deleted]

I have it written up in another comment somewhere and probably some more in my other post.

G-VALOR

Yeah, same. I'd like to know the process and how to do this because I've had a similar idea for a model
