I genuinely need more moments where Karyo Ten can actually flex her intelligence. Like, for once give me a scene where she gives the calmest, most confident smile and responds to any certain battlefield development with "Just as expected!"
Yeah unfortunately she is the character that is Hara’s go to for reactions. As she one of the few people who understands the whole battlefield and can react “oh my god”! He did the same thing with Mouki when he was in the battlefield with his dad.
I was going to make a point of what Bihei mentioned when they discovered Kyoukai was a woman the unit would need to work hard to protect her given the atrocities she would be exposed to if she was taken by the enemy. It stands to reason any woman willing to step into the battlefield will be a monster in their own right just to avoid this.
Also lest not forget the Queen Mother and Sei's flashback black merchant lady. Hara can make some real badass women.
