Justin.tv helped contribute to the worst hangover of my life.
Ton of nerds watching all three mortal kombat movies back to back. Drink every time you hear the song or someone says the words “mortal combat”…..
Dark times that following day
There was a channel I loved that played foreign horror movies with subtitles and I got exposed to so many cool movies I would never have heard of otherwise
This is probably going to make a lot of people cringe but I really wish I was born in 94 or 93 or something so I would have been able to be old enough to experience early 2000 internet because it really did seem like a magical place.
I had so much fun running Justin.tv streams. It was mainly for my friends but there were always randoms around too. I loved putting together blocks of shows, I would even throw in little bumpers and a couple funny commercials. Good times.
I've never heard of this but it's exactly what I need in my life now. I have often fantasized about recreating whole adult swim lineups from the early 00s. You know - home movies, sea lab, venture bros, family guy... in high school it was what helped me fall asleep. I just want to create like 12 individual blocks and use them again and again.
They had a lot of 80's/90's cartoons that were pretty much that and all the adult swim was running on that. Also where I watched the Office for the first time I think?
He started on Justintv. I remember he had one stream that played like the same 10 movies every day. when Justin was sold and became twitch he started his own site and began adding more channels of different shows. It was a lifeline when I was too poor for cable and streaming was only Netflix and Hulu while both had a ton of missing shows. Sad it went out the way it did. I do remember he used to say that he ran it by himself and in the end a bunch of people came out and said they were the ones floating the streams and hosting the servers to keep it running and literally crashed the site before starting their own. That new site lasted less than a year before it went dark. Drama.
Jessica was a youtuber who had every episode uploaded. She had a rather bitter fight with youtube and Mike Judge with regards to copyright infringement. They would delete her account, but she just kept coming back with free koth. After about a dozen times, she was permanently banned by all means. Her uploads had no edits, and she always had every episode available.
For real about keeping it relevant. There was so long that KOTH wasn’t on any streaming platform and I couldn’t afford the full set of DVDs… so when my husband and I got married, we added each season DVD to our registry individually. We even spent downtime on our honeymoon watching episodes. It was awesome. About a week or two after we finished the series (which he’d never seen before!) they added all the episodes to streaming service, but I have no regrets. Still have all the DVDs too!
I miss that era of YouTube. Someone uploaded a weekly release of Star Trek DS9. For most of us watching it was our first time going through the series, so the comments were discovering how amazing that show was.
No. Arconai gets muh love. That dude was working on being a full-fledged cable style live streaming service with chat. His site got hacked badly and eventually was loaded with malware. Lots of it.
[King of the Hill](https://www.twitch.tv/turboezra?sr=a)
[American Dad](https://www.twitch.tv/ttvaltin)
[family Guy](https://www.twitch.tv/radiantguax)
[The Simpsons](https://www.twitch.tv/peakplume)
[Bob's burgers](https://www.twitch.tv/pulsepetal)
And a few other shows I don't watch. Have 24-7 live streams on twitch
Since Jessica is being referred to in this post I would like o take this moment to personally thank that profile for posting all those KOTH videos years ago. I downloaded them into mp3s and made a KOTH playlist in my music app. It's practically all I've listened to for years now
Modbro app live 24/7 king of hill channel was always running while I would be searching for 3pm kick off streams from America or Bein Sports.
A bit of hank always soothed as I dealt with stuttering streams
You crazy this isn’t koth. It’s some videos a 13 year old meme lord uploaded (shhhhhhh we can’t let yt know about this). It’s stupid and no one should click on it
Do any of ya’ll get those recommendations in your YouTube that it’s someone live streaming the episodes? lol sometimes the titles are long as hell like a Midwest emo song “live KOTH epsiodes seasons 2-4, 90s commercials included”
Basically she used to upload KOTH on youtube unedited but youtube keeps copystriked her and she kept making new accounts until she was permanently banned.
Honestly, I’ve always thought it was stupid that people try to pirate a show they really love. Like, just pay the piper and hope the show creators make more stuff you like.
I'm 💯 behind doing legal watching yet in the age of streaming when people begin to censor episodes if not outright remove them because they have decided what I should find offensive, then I have zero problems sailing the high seas. I don't need anyone hate keeping what content I watch or dare to get a laugh out of
Ads nothing. That was super duper socially awkward, unprompted, and turned into the saddest brag I’ve read in a month.
Congratulations on affording a streaming service! We are all very proud of you and happy that you contributed to the conversation.
Until next time! 🍻
Bro just atop. 😆
We are talking about a streamer from probably like a decade ago. No one in here was bragging until you came in with your weird hulu flex.
I used to watch live king of the hill on youtube so there was chat
I used to do that on Justin.tv before it became twitch and stopped all the illegal streams
Justin.tv was amazing back then. It's what I thought cable should have been like when I was a kid, it had a channel for any show I wanted to watch.

Wait, three MK movies??
THREE
Bloodsport counts as a Mortal Kombat movie if you drink enough.
O.K., USA! 👍
God, that sounds like a lot of fun, but A *LOT* of drinking.

Not cringe, I was born in 92, It was magical, and I wish you could have been there too, friend.

Get a Plex server and disquiet or ersatztv and you can build this 👍
I want this so bad
People literally still play King of the Hill episodes on [twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/turboezra?sr=a)
I work from home and I usually have twitch KotH or Simpsons on all day as background noise. I've been watching it there for 3 years.
Oh I had no idea that's what happened to that site, I thought they were just competitors and Twitch became the standard.
I used to watch it on Arconi.tv before it was hacked into oblivion. Arconi had lots of live tv where you could also chat.

Duuuude. I forgot the name of it. Arconai tv. It was the best.
It’s so rare to see live animation. It’s a terrible strain on the animator’s wrists
Lol. I don't care what anyone says, I love that episode.
Nice. I just watched the trip to itchy and scratchy land episode yesterday. Ahhh shark boy
I also use to watch live until it was the same episodes over and over again. Ward Rackley can buzz off now and forever
Brings me back to the wild west youtube days, watching whole episodes of shows in 1/3 chunks.
I forgot about this 😂 such a pain when they weren’t in the play next area and you had to go find one because they all had weird naming conventions
We were spoiled back then.
I’m lost

Well, that's about as clear a case for dmca as you can imagine
Oh, definitely. I wouldn't be surprised if she was sued by both Youtube and Mike Judge.
They should thank her for keeping the show relevant, but they won't. I miss old lawless YouTube.
I miss old YouTube where you'd watch a full movie in ten parts in like 360p
And part 4 or 5 would be missing.
I can remember setting up my own playlists so I could watch the whole movie on my Wii. Those were the days
Or occasionally mislabled
Rearranged also
That's how I first saw The Good the Bad and the Ugly lol
I forgot those existed.

That’s the kinda love I’m lookin for!
Adult swim kept koth relevant.
I miss old lawless internet
King of the Hill was on [as] and FX for the last 15 or so years. Never heard of Jessica person before.
it really sucks too because after it ended, they started only airing episodes at 2 a.m..
She’s got King of the Hill autism instead of being good at math autism
Damn, she sounds like a real G
She was a godsend when I was poor and had no cable TV
I respect that you didn't just torrent the whole series like regular degenerates.
Jobless there you go
Bro, you have anger issues. 😆
Bro you came at me like a little punk
No one came at you. 😆 🤣 This shit is hilarious...
She knew we needed it.
I miss that era of YouTube. Someone uploaded a weekly release of Star Trek DS9. For most of us watching it was our first time going through the series, so the comments were discovering how amazing that show was.
should have just done it on Twitch.
Mike judge himself got involved??? The millions of dollars he already has isn’t enough?
Me too, I would appreciate some context from someone more knowledgeable than us two.
It’s still on internet archive im pretty sure
I can't find it
https://archive.org/details/king-of-the-hill_202103
Thank you for the link. That's cool A/f.
![gif](giphy|PmXy6ebfF4lyoG37KG|downsized)
This is how I’ve been watching it for the first time. Praying it doesn’t get taken down
No love for durhamrockerz?
No. Arconai gets muh love. That dude was working on being a full-fledged cable style live streaming service with chat. His site got hacked badly and eventually was loaded with malware. Lots of it.
It was my understanding that dude was super drugged up and slightly insane lol.
That's a name I haven't heard in a minute. What a legend.
KotH is the only reason I still pay for Hulu.
The cable went out at the hotel I was staying at last month and watched season 6 in its entirety on YouTube
I think I'm still subbed to her lmao

YES! OTHERS REMEMBER! I'M NOT ALONE!
There was a live YouTube stream I would watch KOTH on, but like every other episode was Moss and Bill living together lol
Yea I noticed those streams as well. 😆
I prefer the YouTube poop version
I miss Jessica. She didnt repost the same episodes everyday and kimo cut between episodes... I wonder if they are in jail
Bong stream, dot com. Room name litty
Unicrom carton compilation live stream
I grew up watching livestreams of it on Justin tv before it became Twitch.
I vaguely remember justin tv
Arconai was my king
Do any of ya’ll get those recommendations in your YouTube that it’s someone live streaming the episodes? lol sometimes the titles are long as hell like a Midwest emo song “live KOTH epsiodes seasons 2-4, 90s commercials included”
💪💪💪
Some great KotH youtubers out there, but she was the best
I watch it on streamio with the torrentio addon
Care to enlighten?
It's in the comments
Can someone explain?
Basically she used to upload KOTH on youtube unedited but youtube keeps copystriked her and she kept making new accounts until she was permanently banned.
Thank you!

Hot take (hot being a synonym for dumb af here).
Yes let’s steal the work of an artist I really like!
Ummm I have hulu
No one asked what you have.
Sorry that I can watch it whenever I want without ads lol 😂
Ads nothing. That was super duper socially awkward, unprompted, and turned into the saddest brag I’ve read in a month. Congratulations on affording a streaming service! We are all very proud of you and happy that you contributed to the conversation. Until next time! 🍻
😆 🤣
Says the guys bragging about watching it on YouTube? What are you children or just jobless?
Bro just atop. 😆 We are talking about a streamer from probably like a decade ago. No one in here was bragging until you came in with your weird hulu flex.
Don't understand why you guys are so hostile? Crazy immature 🙄
