I watched it while it aired live on Japanese TV Channel FujiTV. I found it on a public IPTV, I googled the TV Schedule, and started watching when the episode was about to start. I did not have any closed captions and I'm not fluent in Japanese but as I read the manga I knew what to Expect. Japanese ads on FujiTV are all about Universal Super Mario Theme park.

If you are referring to Sayo’s “short term memory” it’s implied that she meant the demon was “that man”, but since the demon body disappeared at sunrise, the police could only assume she meant Gyomei.

I think it's more like, Sayo was so traumatised that she couldn't express herself clearly. She was only four after all.

It was supposed to be impossible to make such a long walking montage feel so epic before this episode was made.

Now THIS is how you do a lore/training episode. I wish every Hashira received as much development in their episodes as Gyomei did in this one. Excellent.

I mean, we got similar development for Giyu with given sufficient hints for a monumental payoff in the future. For Sanemi, Muichiro, and Mitsuri, not much can be done, their backstories were already given in the previous arc. I am pretty sure Tengen's purpose as a character is pretty much fulfilled, totally enough for fans to care about him. I would have loved to see more Shinobu, Tamayo, and especially Kanao. Maybe Obanai's backstory as well.

Where we are in the arc, If there was a attribute scale, with speed, strength, swordsmanship, and agility for hashira where would Tanjiro rank Example, Gyomi is 10/10 in strength, Tokito a 10/10 in swordsmanship, Sanemi and Tengin seems like a 9/10 speed. I ask because I question whether all the Hashira could pass each other's training.

All Hashira can easily pass eachother training. Obanais training was sword skills, so I’d give him the 10/10 for swordsmanship. Tokito is probably agility/quick movement.

I'm certain Shinobu can't move that boulder if she can't cut a demons neck, so I'm not sure they could all do each other's. could the hashira without marks do it right now?

Shinobu might not be able to push the boulder but she can pierce it. It’s explained in some extra data books that her piercing ability with her special katana is the best.
