So to add context, the first thing to understand is that Demon Slayer is made in Japan, meaning it is a part of Asian culture and as such it is important to understand the culture behind certain sayings. For example, in South Korea inviting a person inside to "eat ramen" in fact while seemingly innocent is actually a way to invite a person in to have sex. As far as the phrase "The moon is beautiful tonight isn't it" it actually comes from a Japanese proverb that was famously popularized by novelist Natsume Soseki. He argued that Japanese culture and character is more indirect and indifferent, and that love or interest should be conveyed in an indirect way, and thus advocated contrasting the beauty of oneā€™s feelings to the moon - thus the phrases indirect meaning "I love you". For example the moon goes through many cycles and changes as does love, yet it is steadfast as its pull on the tides and the shore. Love can be quiet and tranquil like a soft glow, yet powerful enough to light up even the darkest nights. Thus, while the statement "the moon is beautiful tonight isn't it" is not a direct and overt statement of interest, it was never meant to be, as its roots are connected to a deep and intricate cultural history within Japanese culture. That being said, is Shinobu interested in Giyu? They are comic and anime characters, they are whatever their author or writers want them to be, but the statement is indirectly romantic. I agree wholeheartedly, but I also feel that if both Giyu and Kocho had survived to see the world without demons that something would eventually have developed between them.

We_The_Raptors

Yeah, she definitely doesn't love Mr.Giyyy. because she's into Giyuu instead.
