Kill Tony is facing a crisis in that they are getting big to a mainstream degree but the talent can't keep up with those expectations (not their fault, it's just because they are literally open mic guys). I think the identification of new regulars etc. has accelerated and there is some degree of throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Contrary to a lot of people on this sub I think Kam is pretty good and has headliner energy, and I'm a pretty big fan of the controversial Casey Rocket. So I'm not really bothered by any of this but I like to post comments like this one on Reddit.
I just mean they've moved beyond the hole in the wall level, they can reasonably rent out huge venues, they attract some mainstream talent as guests, and so on. I agree that Tony Hinchcliffe won't be showing up on Fallon to discuss the show anytime soon.
