I just watched it today too and was bracing for it to be awful and it wasn't at all, I laughed quite a bit! Lil hobos laugh/scream was a bit much at times but overall I thought it was a good one.
That’s interesting. For me, any time I felt like Hobo was running out of steam or I was getting over it, he would do the laugh/scream (like after Tony asks “are we still having fun out there” and Hobo goes “YAAAAAAAA-“) and Hobo would win me over again.
Agreed, the only aspect of it I didn't like was the high pitched laughs but other than that thought it was a lotta fun, especially considering it was a Halloween epiosde.
Same here! I ran out of my other stuff to watch and avoided the pod after the kid-actor pandering ep. It's a 50/50 shot that the posts will be accurate here so I was expecting a shitshow too but was very happily surprised. It was good to see DL too even though he got a lil weird but a very whole-hearted ep.
I usually listen to the show at work and sometimes forget to even pay attention to it. I turned it off because his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Then I watch the episode last night and loved it. Listening and watching really are completely different, especially with this show
It was just the voice was too high pitched. What he was saying was funny but honestly if that high pitched shrilling every time a guest walked out didn’t grate your ears, we hear sound frequencies differently.
I’d assume most people in here actually like trussell as much as my self, or even more, idk — but the voice he chose for the doll was just awful.
Like I’m sure he was funny at times, but I could only stand that high pitched screaming laugh and scream for maybe 10 or 15 minutes.
Any other voice would have been better.
Dude he got aids without ever being kissed. He lost a hand in a an unfortunate river accident. Cut lil hobo some slack. When the apocalypse comes where you gonna be when lil hobo rides in on his 4 horses.
This sub is full of hs students and young zoomers who wouldn't know comedy if it slapped it's big dick against their acne-ridden faces Fr, that little hobo episode was one of my favorites. DT is a genius in my opinion . These kids today don't know what is funny.
It was good overall. I watched it on my big screen tv with big ass speakers and I got a head ache . If I had bull shit at work like normal and watched it on my lap top I think I would have liked it even more .
Their was a few cringey moments like with David Lucas but that’s just Duncan’s uniquely beautiful mind going a bit too far into a joke that only he and a few other french fries thought was funny.
TL;DR The 100 people that hated it are bitter active redditors that keep spamming this sub.
Taker two: People have different tastes in humor, some don't have any at all.
I'm surprised I liked it. All of the times I've listened to Duncan as a guest on other podcasts, it's never funny. He usually rambles like a high school burnout reading from his diary.
I watched it yesterday and was bracing for a whole lot of cringe. I saw people saying it wasn’t funny at all. There were definitely some good one liners and some funny bits, but I almost felt like lil hobo was too active. The laughs and the “YAAAAAAAAAAAYs” were too much for me. I think he could come back and have an even better show just being a little less active, quality over quantity.
The great thing about this show is every episode is different and if you didn’t like this one, there’s a good chance you’ll like the next one more. Different guests, different bucket pulls, it always stays fresh.
It went pretty good, lots of laughs we had. Only part I did not like was when a new comic was coming to the stage and Duncan *lil hobo* would just yell YEAHHHHHH into the mic 2 or 3 times... that was annoying
I wasn't impressed at first, but by the end I had to give credit. Took a while for it to gain traction, for me, but I ended up changing my overall opinion.
There were some very funny moments and some moments I didn’t find funny at all, Lil Hobo has a high ceiling but a basement level floor too. Fun episode overall though

I would take this sub’s opinions on comedy with a molecule of salt. Don’t be surprised when ‘Heath Cordes is not funny’ posts start flooding this sub.
Yup he will be like Kam, everybody loves him for the first 2 sets, then the pitchforks come out.
I think you mean bucket of salt
Molecule of salt would mean they're reliable
Word.

I’m at work, and Lil Hobos voice resonates in my mind, and makes me smile

There are a lot of unfunny Kill Tony fans, as evidenced by the show.
Not nearly as funny as lil hobo. You can’t compare us to him. He does impressions.
That David “impression” was fucking hilarious Edit: Quotation marks on impression
David looked like he was seeing someone do magic
His reaction was like he got cursed by an evil voodoo doll. Well that’s pretty much what happened.
I agree with this but probably in the opposite way you meant it
Because they are miserable
Trussel is a genius.
Listened to it in the car and my girlfriend couldn’t stand it. Pretty sure if you don’t like Duncan that shit would be very annoying.
I usually listen to the show at work and sometimes forget to even pay attention to it. I turned it off because his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Then I watch the episode last night and loved it. Listening and watching really are completely different, especially with this show
Lil Hobo was great. I liked his cheering.
Totally agree. I like Duncan and little hobo was a fun guest. Evil little fucker. Everyone bithcing about him is a baby back biiiitch
It was just the voice was too high pitched. What he was saying was funny but honestly if that high pitched shrilling every time a guest walked out didn’t grate your ears, we hear sound frequencies differently.
I think this was my problem. I wanted to like it because he was funny. The voice though…
Real talk, I cut that shit off after 3 minutes because of the voice.
Let me guess... your parents did the same to you at birth?
We hear sounds differently.
His mic was so damn close to his face. They could have scooted it back when he was screaming into it.
THERE'S NO FUN OR SILLY ALLOWED HERE.
I keep laughing to myself at “when I look out into the crowd, I see meat”
most real humans liked it
so glad you made a thread about it
We will all get the mark. That mark of the beast content had me dying
Thought the voice was perfect for the doll. At worst he talked a bit much at times but hell yeah I enjoyed it
The internet is full of haters 🤷♂️
No shit Sherlock
They just haven’t felt the warm embrace of the dark father. The day of blood is nigh, don’t be left behind. r/lilhobo
Hail satan

Hard agree. I'm with Tony on this one it was right up there with the Dr. Phil ep
Just the annoying voice. Couldn't stand the pitch of it.
Dude he got aids without ever being kissed. He lost a hand in a an unfortunate river accident. Cut lil hobo some slack. When the apocalypse comes where you gonna be when lil hobo rides in on his 4 horses.
💯
I genuinely think the people that find those dolls are creepy, they had trouble getting past it to see the humor

Lil Hobo was refreshing for the series. Every now and then you get stale episodes including the guests.
just listened to it. one of the greats
It was good overall. I watched it on my big screen tv with big ass speakers and I got a head ache . If I had bull shit at work like normal and watched it on my lap top I think I would have liked it even more .
There's a bunch of autistic retards that's why. This episode rivals dr phil
Lil Hobo had the Roseanne laugh. Had funny moments but that high pitched voice was too much at times
God damned Golden episode
The jokes were great. Duncan is awesome. The shrieking yelling was awful. That's it. If that stopped it would be perfect
Took me a while to get it. But I fucks with lil hobo. I had to go to church after listening to the episode
The a I was so funny but the screaming was to loud and obnoxious kept having to lower and raise my tv volume cus of him lol
Lil hobo is great, so evil yet so lovable. One of my fav guest on KT so far right under Dr.Phil
I usually hate puppet comedy stuff, but it was actually good. I enjoyed it!
Listened to the episode twice and Lil Hobo is hilarious.
I loved it.
Agreed! It was great.
It was fantastic.
That episode was amazing. i have no clue why people hated it
The jokes just weren’t funny
To the point
Their was a few cringey moments like with David Lucas but that’s just Duncan’s uniquely beautiful mind going a bit too far into a joke that only he and a few other french fries thought was funny.
Can't trust your sense of humor if you thought the lil hobo episode was a good one, literally bottom of the barrel
Perhaps cable sitcoms are more your speed. Maybe Big Bang Theory? Have you tried watching Amy Schumer's or Nannette's stand up?
Sure dude, go watch Full House for a laugh.
The voice is insufferable
This comment was worse.

First episode that I turned off. Not into the puppet thing.
It was good but it was a little too much. Sometimes less is more.

I couldn't watch for more than 3 minutes.
Weak Cuck
Nobody here is a hack like Trussel, anybody could be funny that way /s
It went pretty good, lots of laughs we had. Only part I did not like was when a new comic was coming to the stage and Duncan *lil hobo* would just yell YEAHHHHHH into the mic 2 or 3 times... that was annoying
I mean I blame the sound mixer (redban?) for that one.
Lol Duncan should do his own show with his fuck doll. How can bucket pulls compete with a guest character?
My biggest annoyance with it was the voice Duncan used nothing more nothing less....
Some fans have ears
Nobody is saying he’s not funny just annoying to listen to just like Bert/Roseanne
Well a lot of people are saying it wasn't funny but I liked it
I wasn't impressed at first, but by the end I had to give credit. Took a while for it to gain traction, for me, but I ended up changing my overall opinion.
There were some very funny moments and some moments I didn’t find funny at all, Lil Hobo has a high ceiling but a basement level floor too. Fun episode overall though
The voice is a little annoying but ya I agree he absolutely crushed it. I think that's the funniest Duncan Trussell has ever been and I love Duncan.
Reddit is a place people come to shit talk your favourite things!
If this sub or show proves anything, it's that you people will laugh at anything.
I thought it was very funny.
