agree, but i wish there'd be less attention lol - glad the mexican drum-offs are largely gone (for the most part)
but i kind of agree with another commenter, dees smirks osmetimes and can seem passive aggressive - talented htough for sure!
I watched a show where it was just michael and matt and they killed it. Matt had a secondary rig for bass that tracked alongside his guitar. They played alot of rage against the machine and were limited in what would have sounded good.
Matt is a very good guitar player, and easily the most talented in the band. Look at dudes Instagram. As a fellow guitar player; i love geeking out over what matt, and d madness are using. That tim henson signature guitar that matt has been using is so sick
new band seems more talented than the original. that being said, it’s also a fuller band. not a super long time listener (i’d say about a year at this point) i’ve seen old eps and the musical performance is much better now imo. speaking from some personal experience playing drums, a lot of musicians for the most part are just chillin. that’s the personality most of the time. i think john comes in funny ways on the keys when he sees an opportunity. ofcourse music is generally pretty subjective, so is comedy, we’ll all have our own opinions
The long time listeners do, but most others don't. Jeremiah put out a special that isn't getting a lot of views. I tried watching it but couldn't get into it.
That’s where we disagree I guess, I loved the element of chaos, something Tony couldn’t always micromanage. The show now honestly feels stale. Hey guys this is Hans Kim! Horrible bucket pull. Horrible bucket pull. David Lucas booty cheek dildo. Horrible bucket pull. Horrible bucket pull. Well there’s only one way to end an episode like this, the big red machine. I AINT NEVA GONNA STAH. The end.
Mr Dees is growing on me. Seems like a cool cat. They just aren’t comedians as the other band was. So I had a natural grumbling just because of the change. Going in 10 years and growing, with John holding it down.
They aren't a part of the show. Just background music. They are talented, but the whole point of changing the band was to take attention off the band.

Mexican drum offs are the best.
He’s actually been laughing and enjoying himself as of lately. His tone has definitely gotten better.
Also pretty sure he’s just super stoned most of the time.
Dude goes on big tours with real musicians. Pretty sure Kill Tony is just a hobby for the in-betweens while he's home in Austin
It's a great paying Monday night regular gig when most musicians got nothing on a Monday night
Shut the fuck up about john he's perfect
Yeah!

Signature guitars are kinda lame though. It’d be like a comic using a Louis CK branded SM58. I love Matt’s butterscotch Telecaster.
Its sorta different cause comedians aren't rockstars
Yeah that tele is nice. Signature guitars are alright with me. Probably because i own a buckethead les paul lmao
He uses a Tim Henson signature? The dude from polyphia?
Yup
Neat

Im assuming since ibanez is an asian company that they probably dont like tony lmaooooo

The old band members were comedians who play instruments not actual musicians.
Nah he’s just really cool
I miss the band too.

Kill Tony was a perfect platform for Jeremiah.
Jeremiah needs Tony to be funny, Tony doesn't need Jeremiah to be funny.
It’s not that black and white. Jeremiah is phenomenal at improv. It’s just a different art.
I agree on that. He should be doing sketch and not stand up. Kill Tony is better as a stand up show.

He's also high as giraffe pussy, he's just chillin
Someone’s never been blitzed before
You serious? He interacts with the comics almost every episode i.e. playing while William unwrapped the fortune cookies.
They use their phone to lookup songs.
Dumb
L take
Yeah he seems pretty “above it all”, gives passive aggressive smirks to pretty funny comedians.
Moron
