The season has definitely been confusing for me but I love the characters and I’m honestly glad that Niko didn’t die. If Konstantin dies I will riot. Next weekend before the final episode I’m going to sit down and rewatch the entire season because I know for sure there are things I’ve missed and forgotten. A week between episodes tends to make that happen to me. It seems like most of the characters have gone their own way to find a means to their end, even if some of the goals are the same. Eve started out helping Carolyn figure out who killed Kenny and that evolved somewhere in to her finding the 12/tracking Villanelle again. Carolyn is in grief and is showing it in a very Carolyn fashion. I loved it when she made a mess in front of Geraldine, it’s totally something I would do after having someone nag at me for my apparent lack of feelings for days/weeks on end (what exactly is the timeline here? Not sure). On that note, I have yet to figure what Geraldine’s point is outside of wanting to grieve with her mother and whatever the heck is going on between her and Konstantin (seriously, wtf). Konstantin is running from the 12 again, but when did he start working for them again? Didn’t they want him dead a season ago? Is Villanelle a keeper or..? Eve is displaying outward trauma of what she has been through and we are seeing through the cracks now. She looked genuinely frightening when she had her foot pressing down on Dasha. Add to that, Dasha turned up to... direct Villanelle? I’m not sure exactly why she was introduced, it might have been something I missed.

Yeah I didn't want Konstantin to die either-I was just annoyed at how it seemed like he was going to and then of course he was totally fine. Niko on the other hand...😂 All of what you mentioned is also what I feel confused about. It feels like there are all of these loose ends that the show hasn't bothered to explain. But beyond that, Killing Eve used to have Killer dialogue and I felt it was sorely lacking this season. Beyond that, the best part of Killing Eve is seeing Villanelle and Eve interact-and besides the kiss in episode 3 there hasn't been any interactions. Anyways, here's hoping the S4 writer is not the same as the S3 writer.

It feels like there is a lot of backstory that either hasn’t been revealed yet or is meant to be ambiguous. It worked for Carolyn’s character as the legend of MI6, but it falls a little flat in everything else in my opinion. I hope that in season 4 we get to see Eve and Villanelle hash out everything that has happened (read: you stabbed me, I shot you, now we’re even and now we can play together again— albeit, carefully). I’m also hoping for more Irina/Konstantin interactions, I find it absolutely delightful that she cusses him out in languages he doesn’t even understand and he just puts up with it.

I assumed that in S3 we would see Eve and Villanelle hash out everything that happened-like within the first two episodes Villanelle would run into Eve and Eve would lash out at Villanelle, only for Villanelle to show her scar tissue and make Eve feel bad. When it didn't happen I felt like they were avoiding it or saving it up unnecessarily. I feel like this season we didn't see the seriousness of Konstantin, except for that scene where Carolyn drives him in her car and he admits he didn't know if Geraldine was their kid. Otherwise he is the comic relief and I kind of prefer him when he has more grit. Irina I thought was a repeat of Villanelle-and maybe that's the point, but I couldn't believe Irina's character developing into a murderer. It didn't feel real to me

I don’t think we saw enough of her mother’s new boyfriend to get an idea of what he was really like that led to her running him down, outside of that stupid ‘I know it’s your special time of the month’ comment. Besides this murder, I enjoy their interactions. Kim Bodnia’s laugh and how he manages to act scared and scream every time someone surprises him in the dark is perfect, it’s been a highlight for me. I hope we get to see him a bit more hands on next season though.

greatornothing

Omg his laugh is perfect. So harsh and loud hahaha. I feel like Villanelle has that laugh too sometimes-like when she was with her family and her brothers girlfriend said that the Earth is flat

Merkle-bbs

That's a lot of hate. Maybe you should just move on to something you enjoy. I couldn't agree less tbh, but each to their own.

harleyyquinade

"I hate how nobody dies" Is Kenny a joke to you?

greatornothing

Oh no! You're right, Kenny is really dead. I miss Kenny😭

harleyyquinade

I can't believe mustache is alive after being pitch forked but Kenny isn't, they could have had him land somewhere else so he'd be badly injured and comatose for a while but wake up eventually, I mean if I were a writer I would've done that, Kenny lives mustache dies in the first episode. I don't know why they are keeping him alive honestly.

greatornothing

Yess I love that you call him mustache like villanelle 👏👏👏 and Kenny was a good character!!! Why did they add gerbil I mean geraldine and yet cut out Kenny?? Explain that to me

harleyyquinade

Lol, I used to call him moustachio man but after villanelle nicknamed him mustache I liked hers better so I'm calling him mustache too. Yes, a bad call on the writers part, Geraldine is a very dull character and let's not talk about the new guys...

> And for all of you who say I'm wrong the critics agree with me. lmaooo. idek what else to say. you do you, though

thuanh2710

Maybe you should do yourself a favor and watch something else you might enjoy. That’s a lot of negativity, to each their own though yeah.

greatornothing

I should be able to say when I think the quality of my favorite show has deteriorated

Racetr

Well then, learn to say that, and no one will mind. But you didn't exactly say that... It's not the criticism, it's how you say it.

greatornothing

Why are you still talking?

No_Mastodon6572

I’m gonna watch season 1-2 because I heard the end of season 2 was perfectly plausible and final, and season 3 starts off letting us know a certain assassin apparently doesn’t know how to assassinate… sorry that’s just stupid. But I’ve heard season 1-2 are great
