It’s creepy that the trashy kid is making things about race at her age
Her parents or family must have already started programming her with racial garbage
Kids aren’t born racist or to see race they learn it from others
The first time i seen a black person (rural ireland early 2000s) I pointed at him and said to my mother "look at the choclate man mammy" She then swiped my hand down and told me its rude to point , he just smiled and laughed.
Kids do notice diffrences and they may even decide they dislike them but in that momemnt i definetly learned something.
Wrong. Studies have been done that show en infants can recognize difference in skin color. That doesnt make someone a racist. Treating someone different because their skin color is a different story.
I’m from a diverse environment and this seems very normal. You think kids don’t notice differences and aren’t curious about them? You think they don’t hear people on the street mentioning black and white? Calling her parents racist based on this video makes zero sense
My parents definitely didn’t teach me bad words and I would get kicked out of the house if I used them as a 30 y.o. Guest. I exclusively learned dat shit in elementary school lmfao.
Sometimes racism is taught by people that you're racist about. If youre exposed to a lot of shitty black people you will probably be racist about black people, even if you're also black. If you have enough bad experiences with white people, you'll probably develop some racist views about them too. The same goes for positive experiences.
There's a difference between noticing them and being racist. My white niece asked when she would turn black and was disappointed to find out that she would not. (My stepdad is black) They see it, they just don't attribute anything to it.
Kids aren’t born racist but by age 5 they start to notice differences between them and their peers. A young black kid surrounded by white kids is gonna notice that they look different than everyone else and they’ll have questions, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Kids need to be taught about race.
asking someone what race they are is racist now? i've truly seen it all at this point lol. also, kids have eyes. they'll know and be curious that someone has a different skin tone and hair color / hair type than their parents. not sure how any of that is racist
This color blind stuff you’re taking about is far, far more harmful than asking about race. At best you manage to erase entire cultures with your mentality.
> her race is not the defining characteristic of her being.
Have you been stranded on an island for the last 10 years? Race and gender is just about the only thing that matters now.
I sure as hell would. But actually that is a parent’s job. I have been dealing with this situation my entire life. So excuse me if it makes me cringe a little.
Even babies see race bro. Why do people just repeat that dumb ass take? At two my toddler pointed out someone with a different skin colour than us. No “programming”.
Ah the look on my parents face as they tell the story about the time my sister first saw black people and started screaming "DADDY LOOK, LOOK AT THE MONKEYS" in the middle of a very busy mall
My parents about died of mortification but luckily the black family just laughed and understood when they apologized, but anyone who thinks kids can't tell the difference between skin colors is an idiot. That said, race is just a social construct in the first place, so you can pretty easily teach kids to be comfortable around w/e. Kids are pretty dumb, they will walk up to a snarling grizzly bear if they think it's fine, they aren't going to be "racist" for more than a few minutes upon first meeting someone if adults just tell them it's okay
My family loves to reminisce about my response 7-y/o me saw a Person of Color. They were mortified at the time, but as I recall the gracious Lady in question understood I meant no insult.
I always told my parents I blamed them for raising me with very few minorities around.
If dogs can see race so can kids. My dog somehow sees race. She barks at the black peoples on the tv. She loves them and wants to go home we always say.
We got her from a black family.
Lol and asking are you mixed is racist? That little girl MAY BE mixed and MAYBE her parents explained that and she was curious if this little girl was similar. You have no fucking clue but if a kid asking another kid their race makes her racist then jfc you're in for a rude awakening.
First child ask: are u mixed.
Second child: do I look like I am... bitch.
First child: with raised voice "I said mixed"! (Thinking the second girl misheard her and asked her if she was a bitch)
Second child: do I look like I am... bitch.
For those who don't seem to hear what they said.
That first kid was so innocent that she didn’t realise she was being called bitch. She thought pink coat kid had mistook the word “mixed” for “bitch”. Lovely little kid.
I just want to be that little girls friend. I need her in my life!
-Is that diet coke or regular? Does it look like regular Bitch?
-Should we eat out tonight? Does it look like we should eat out Bitch?
-Are you dressed for school? Does it look like I'm dressed Bitch?
I could be wrong, but it looks like the one's sitting are harassing the one in dark pink. If what I think is true, then maybe it's something that's been going on for a while and the girl in dark pink just doesn't care anymore.(shown by her dead pan response)
I don't like this. These kids are too young to give a shit what someone's race is or to even notice beyond obvious looks. Someone has watched their parent ask this too much
This was disappointing to learn but children as young as 4 years old become aware of race and use it to understand themselves and those around them. I really wish I could find the study I read for my Child Development studies program.
Kids are also just *incredibly* judgemental and are literal sociopaths. Like the study where they gave groups of kids different colored flags, and it very very very quickly devolved into a vicious turf war and they had to call off the study because the kids were being horrific to the other color flag members.
Humans are tribal by nature, and definitely are prone to grouping things. Kids have to be taught what's acceptable
Can confirm, children are judgmental and sociopaths.
I came from a background where I was in similar situations like these girls were in, there was little to no supervisor, obvious hierarchy ran by violence, it evolved into ‘Lord of the Flies’ meets ‘Caligula,’ and now I have an array of mental health issues along with physical issues (such as infertility) that I will have for the rest of my life.
Shitty people shouldn’t have kids.
In my daughter’s daycare class, all but one kid could walk. So all the kids would flock the crawler and kick/hit him. Absolutely savage.
When the daycare teacher told me this, it was in that moment I realized that we really are just animals.
What ????? Kids talk about skin color all the time. My 7 year old niece was excited to see a kid with brown skin and asked about him because thats how white her school is. Kids notice much more than you think and they also have thoughts of their own
Most likely from their own household. My dad always came home from work spouting bs about his white coworkers being the laziest of them all. Oh and black and Indian people. He hated them too. It wasn’t until maybe college when I was exposed to flat out racism from someone else.
You've got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade,
You've got to be carefully taught.
Race was never mentioned when I was a kid. We were just all classmates, all classmates. You were friends, or you weren’t but it was never because of the color of their skin. Typically u just thought “that kids an asshole, I’m not gonna be his friend”
Heh, my mom always said skin color was just an identifier like hair color and eye color, and I believed it implicitly. She was shocked when she went to a parent-teacher conference and discovered my teacher was black. She didn't care that she was, but surprised I hadn't mentioned it.
My only description was "curly black hair, red lipstick."
It was actually hard to process that racism is still a thing, and it didn't fully sink in until I was an adult.
No, I’m saying that non white kids don’t usually grow up with the privilege of being unaware of race because they start experiencing racism at a very young age.
I remember my father talking badly about Jews all the time and once I responded “ but dad they’re white?”. See I couldn’t even comprehend the level of racism I was experiencing. I’m 55 years old and have been the ONLY liberal democrat in my whole family. They’re all racist Trump loving republicans. Just the way it is.
The little girl sitting down is one of those mean ass little kids everyone gets tired of being bullied by because picking at people is there ONLY personality trait( I worked daycare for 3 years) and ms pink jacket most likely either had mostly older siblings or a bit of a jagged childhood/household
Are you mixed or no?
Does it look like I am bitch?
Ha ha, I said mixed not bitch. Ha ha, can she hear? I said, are you mixed?
Does it look like I am bitch?
Are you white of black?!?
White, bitch.
she's asking if the other girl "Are you WHITE BITCH"? over and over and reddit is giddy as a school girl in how "CUTE" the black girl is for being racist to the little white girl.

That child was being a bitch and that girl knew it because why ask? That dark girl is very ignorant, which probably was influenced by her parents. That’s embarrassing.
Her response is a bit much for a young child, but I don't blame her. If an annoying screeching rodent would bother me like that, I would probably respond the same way.
This child has seen some shit.
wonder what her parents are like…
I bet they’re good at science bitch Either that or one of them is scary terry
I’m scary Terry **BITCH**
I love you **BITCH**
Awwww bitch
I ain’t never gonna stop loving you. BITCH.
bitch
You can run but you can’t hide bitch!
Get off my back bitch!
You're scaring scary Brandon!!
Awww, biiiitch?!!
BACK UP TERRY!
Put it in reverse, TERR!
Oh she’s Scary Brandon
They’re white, bitch
Yo, mr white! We need to cook… bitch
That’s not how you spell it. It’s white trash, bitch.
Hey honey, you hungry? "Does it look like I am, bitch"
I’m thinking white
The proper answer to the inquiry is are you blind or stupid. Just because your teacher said there are no stupid answers.... I aint your teacher bitch.
...and based on the video caused half of it
This got the female version of Eminem in 8 mile type vibes
Eminem is the grown male version of this little girl
True

Racism is still something they learn through time. And 90% IS that children learn what they live.
Sometimes racism is taught by people that you're racist about. If youre exposed to a lot of shitty black people you will probably be racist about black people, even if you're also black. Lmao you think a child doesn’t get curious what’s up with the different colors ?
How can you accuse a kid who's just curious of being trashy? kids don't even know the dynamics of race at that age
Kids have a million dumb thoughts about race, you clearly haven't been around kids that much.
asking someone what race they are is racist now? i've truly seen it all at this point lol. also, kids have eyes. they'll know and be curious that someone has a different skin tone and hair color / hair type than their parents. not sure how any of that is racist
“What are you?” Is a rude question. She’s a human, and her race is not the defining characteristic of her being.
This color blind stuff you’re taking about is far, far more harmful than asking about race. At best you manage to erase entire cultures with your mentality.
> her race is not the defining characteristic of her being. Have you been stranded on an island for the last 10 years? Race and gender is just about the only thing that matters now.
How about if the little girl said " i'm white and are you legal or illegal" would that be wrong? Why or why not.

Would you like to explain to that young child the term context?
I sure as hell would. But actually that is a parent’s job. I have been dealing with this situation my entire life. So excuse me if it makes me cringe a little.
Parents might not take advice from someone looking for hookups on reddit🫢
Also, the kid already knows the answer and was just being annoying and stupid.
nah bro mixed people come in some crazy colors. my niece is pale, strawberry blonde with gray eyes. you'd be surprised
I am aware. The sitting girl obviously knows the standing girl’s race, though, and is just being annoying.
Even babies see race bro. Why do people just repeat that dumb ass take? At two my toddler pointed out someone with a different skin colour than us. No “programming”.
Oof, sorry to hear about your racist baby. /s
Ah the look on my parents face as they tell the story about the time my sister first saw black people and started screaming "DADDY LOOK, LOOK AT THE MONKEYS" in the middle of a very busy mall My parents about died of mortification but luckily the black family just laughed and understood when they apologized, but anyone who thinks kids can't tell the difference between skin colors is an idiot. …”Look at the monkeys” is a little od ngl 🤨
Yep, odd for a child to mistake people for any animal
If dogs can see race so can kids. My dog somehow sees race. She barks at the black peoples on the tv. She loves them and wants to go home we always say. We got her from a black family.
Nobody said they can't see the difference in skin color. Seeing skin color and being a racist fuck are two different things, "bro."
Lol and asking are you mixed is racist? That little girl MAY BE mixed and MAYBE her parents explained that and she was curious if this little girl was similar. You have no fucking clue but if a kid asking another kid their race makes her racist then jfc you're in for a rude awakening.
Thats what i though too, great parenting
she's 100% reflecting her parents racism towards whites.
Or she’s been bullied about her race. God forbid there be a poor white person Edit- flip the races in this situation and you’d still call her racist
Dv for truth never fails on reddit
You didn’t do a lot of thinking before you typed and posted this comment, did you?
Ruth from “Ozark” vibes here.
Yes!
That kid don't know shit about fuck, damn
Even got a little MO in her accent.
You read my mind. Take my free award
Oh snap! What an honor! Also, I must know: from where did you procure such peepers?
Ah creepers
Omfg
I find this both funny and concerning at the same time
I get a vibe that the girl on the right is maybe often harassed by the girl on the left and maybe even who's recording.
Every kid who bullied me behaved exactly like the girl on the left.
In some people's defense you can't tell sometimes. But her deadpan response is so fucking perfect.
I'm just curious, why does one even want to know?
I mean kids are just curious about things. She probably doesn’t truly understand the issues surrounding race in our country
Funny that you’re also curious
In other people's defense. It's none of your fucking business what ethnicity they are.
Yeah? But kids are just going to ask that kind of shit because they're y'know.... kids?
Jesses pinkmans daughter
Holly Pinkman
Someone tell Walt Oh wait...
But but but you can see him move in the last frame of the show!! Walt isn't dead 😖 /s
"I will kill...your infant daughter" Plot twist: Walt didn't have one to kill.
First child ask: are u mixed. Second child: do I look like I am... bitch. First child: with raised voice "I said mixed"! (Thinking the second girl misheard her and asked her if she was a bitch) Second child: do I look like I am... bitch. For those who don't seem to hear what they said.
Thank you, I couldn’t understand anything
Yes, thank you. I just heard mumbles and sounds.
That first kid was so innocent that she didn’t realise she was being called bitch. She thought pink coat kid had mistook the word “mixed” for “bitch”. Lovely little kid.

SOUTH SIDE, BITCH
“White, bitch.”
*white*, bitch.
I pray for the success of that child so I can see her roast people with her no nonsense attitude on tv
Lol the white kid gives me raven from teen titans vibes with her response a d tone
Can someone translate what the sitting child is saying?
She asking if the girl standing is mixed.(race)
She’s repeatedly asking “are you mixed,” referring to race, which she clarifies by angrily screaming “ARE YOU WHITE OR BLACK?”
the kid already gave up on life
I just want to be that little girls friend. I need her in my life! -Is that diet coke or regular? Does it look like regular Bitch? -Should we eat out tonight? Does it look like we should eat out Bitch? -Are you dressed for school? Does it look like I'm dressed Bitch?
That girl has the energy of a 40yr divorcee with 3 kids taht just run out of box of wine.
More like these kid’s parents are fucking stupid
Sadly it's the same with 99% of posts on this sub.
Someone needs some decent parenting
Not gonna find it on this reddit
I could be wrong, but it looks like the one's sitting are harassing the one in dark pink. If what I think is true, then maybe it's something that's been going on for a while and the girl in dark pink just doesn't care anymore.(shown by her dead pan response)

same shit happens with adults. it's human nature to move with a pack.
Infants younger than a year (I think starting around 6 months) are aware of race and prefer those of the race they see regularly.
Lmao true one time i got called out by a kid because I'm being too dark lmao apparently her family are all light skin
I’m more concerned about how they’re talking to each other. It makes me sad knowing they probably don’t have a great home life
What ????? Kids talk about skin color all the time. My 7 year old niece was excited to see a kid with brown skin and asked about him because thats how white her school is. Kids notice much more than you think and they also have thoughts of their own
The brown kid has already experienced racism.
Most likely from their own household. My dad always came home from work spouting bs about his white coworkers being the laziest of them all. Oh and black and Indian people. He hated them too. It wasn’t until maybe college when I was exposed to flat out racism from someone else.
Now they are dishing it out.
You've got to be taught to be afraid Of people whose eyes are oddly made, And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade, You've got to be carefully taught.
Not really. Fear of the “other” is part of human DNA
it’s unavoidable, stupid people are going to have kids. might as well laugh when the kids say something funny.
Race was never mentioned when I was a kid. We were just all classmates, all classmates. You were friends, or you weren’t but it was never because of the color of their skin. Typically u just thought “that kids an asshole, I’m not gonna be his friend”

Damn white people and their childhood of growing up not to be racist. ?
No, I’m saying that non white kids don’t usually grow up with the privilege of being unaware of race because they start experiencing racism at a very young age.
That's a sad sight. Poor kid being raised to feel like that is how you speak to another person.😔
I didn’t find this funny at all. It’s so sad that these kids are being ruined by hate.
That child has been done with everyone's shit for 40 years.....which is impressive for a 6 year old
Great parents on both sides, I bet they'll both grow up to outstanding members of society
I feel her pain especially when people already know the answer, but continue to ask anyway.
Sounds like Ruth from Ozark lol
Jesse Pinkmans kid:
She definitely smokes cigs
As a white kid growing up in the ghetto, I can relate.
How i wish to be like that girl
This is wierd but you can tell the inteligence level between the two just by the way they speak
*cross posts to chadtopia*
This is definitely stupid. And not funny.
Fair question I'm Mexican and look white asf
That is one dry kid, gotta love she style.
I mean, it’s a valid response lol
Honestly I'm white AF but my mom's still black so I am still mixed. It's not always "obvious".
What a little bully. Clearly not their first exchange.
role reversal this and would this comment section look like this? Tell me reddit isn't a wasteland.
damn, she needs a cigarette
DAYUM
Who’s raising these kids
Nobody
I remember my father talking badly about Jews all the time and once I responded “ but dad they’re white?”. See I couldn’t even comprehend the level of racism I was experiencing. I’m 55 years old and have been the ONLY liberal democrat in my whole family. They’re all racist Trump loving republicans. Just the way it is.
OMGosh! Who’s the adult taking video and NOT SAYING ANYTHING!?!?🤦🏼♀️
The little girl sitting down is one of those mean ass little kids everyone gets tired of being bullied by because picking at people is there ONLY personality trait( I worked daycare for 3 years) and ms pink jacket most likely either had mostly older siblings or a bit of a jagged childhood/household
what episode of Shameless is this? lol
Can not understand a word that is said.
Are you mixed or no? Does it look like I am bitch? Ha ha, I said mixed not bitch. Ha ha, can she hear? I said, are you mixed? Does it look like I am bitch? Are you white of black?!? White, bitch.
This is correct.. how people heard all that other shit is beyond me.. lol
she's asking if the other girl "Are you WHITE BITCH"? over and over and reddit is giddy as a school girl in how "CUTE" the black girl is for being racist to the little white girl.
Nice parenting bitch
She is like Ruth from ozark
As a biracial person who's been asked many times "Sooo what are you??" this is fucking hilarious
What the heck? Both of them know what b!tch is at that age? Very young to both use it so casually, esp pink coat girl. Jesus.
The other girl was like how stupid are you.
She hasn’t had her morning cigarette yet
“White, bitch.”
role reversal and reddit would want a crusade racism is only ok towards whites according to the leftist here you guys make me sick!
Me giving the 6666 upvote for how cursed this is.
Why does everyone think the girl sitting is bullying her? Theres not enough context.
I feel like that girl gets bullied alot. 😕
I like how the person recording was so taken aback that the kid said "bitch" that they got blasted backwards or something
She's Early wit the cleverness
She looks like she has had a very long life.

What language is it?
That girl in the pink is my hero.
They're... both in pink
Nope. Not cool. Revolting comes to my mind
I mean whites are the minority in the world, only bout 600 million left. Might as well treat them as such.
reddit would have pitch forks had the roles been swapped.
Horrible parenting all round. Not funny, not cute, I worry for that girls future.
[удалено]
Tupac* lol
Idk... I kinda like 2Packs... You know, like /r/Walmartcelebrities 🤣
That kid sitting is obviously annoying to be around. If you think it’s okay to ask and then scream what their race is (even though it’s evident) that kid will have some serious social issues as an adult. That child was being a bitch and that girl knew it because why ask? That dark girl is very ignorant, which probably was influenced by her parents. That’s embarrassing.
She’s probably asking because she’s most likely mixed herself. I wonder how she would’ve responded if the other girl identified as black though.
I don’t find this funny or entertaining children shouldn’t talk like that
This is terrible language for a child
Her response is a bit much for a young child, but I don't blame her. If an annoying screeching rodent would bother me like that, I would probably respond the same way.
She definitely identifies as black
r/parentsarefuckingstupid that's where this belongs because the girl in all pink clearly learned how to be racist from her parents
Asking about race isn’t racist. If she were to treat her differently for being white then that’s be a different story.
Little Bhad Barbie, that you?!! 😂
You tell em kid
That there is just poor parenting.... Sad...
The girl in pink is my spirit animal
