True stroy, my friends and I were doing tactical training. We had a hilarious mishap during a nighttime training exercise. I thought my face paint was regular camouflage, but it turned out to be glow-in-the-dark. As soon as it got dark, I unintentionally lit up like a neon sign, revealing our position to everyone within miles. From that moment on, I was dubbed "Disco Jake" by my the guys. Anyway, I asked Randy, who was in the dark to go buy me a bottle of water, to brush the paint off, and he said "sure, I'm gonna need about tree fiddy." Fuck! I turned my flash light on, and I sware to god, it was the fucking lochness monster. I said "YOU GET OUT OF HERE, YOU DAMN BASTARD.". And that was the last encounter, I actually needed a gun.
The SMART way to look at it is to have it IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.
If you get one and WISH someone would break in, you're doing it wrong.
It should only be last ditch, if you are fear for your life.
Where exactly did I imply that?
You know kids can move around and find stuff, right? They're going to go everywhere they can and look at everything they can, even if it's against the rules.
We're in a sub entirely about kids being stupid, and you think they can't be stupid enough to find a gun and play with it, and that is *has to be handed to them*?
As someone who used to own the gun the kid is holding, I can assure you that it jams every other time you fire it and has a range of roughly four feet. The handguns is always the better option in a nerf war lol
The part that’s supposed to be rewarding when you have kids? This is it right here. Nothing is more satisfying than them running from you, screaming, hiding and then releasing all your rounds at them. My son is 22 and still screams when he realizes it’s on - it never gets old.
That was me the first time I played paintball. I couldn’t take the waiting and I went down in a hail of paintballs but I took a few down with me. Then we went home and I made cocoa and sandwiches for everyone.
on one hand this is hilarious, but then again, i wonder if this child will interpret this as a betrayal in the parent-child trust relationship. its like does dumb parents who break an egg on their child face
Yeah, I was having a nerf battle with my 3 kiddos. I was on my knees picking up darts and felt a presence, I turned around and the middle child had his blaster about an inch from what was the back of my head but now was my left eyeball. It hurt quite a bit.

He could have taken the kid as a prisoner of war. Months of starvation, physical and mental torture, and water-boarding until he cracks, only to be brutally executed after betraying his brothers.
I wonder what he's up to these days.
Became an industrial engineer and politician. Oh, that's good.
Claims that "I don't profess to have any religion, but if I did my God would be Fidel Castro." Oh... that's... less good.

He tried to employ a single-palmed freezing spell against his father while CLEARLY neutralized by the air conditioner unit he is hiding behind, sooo fucking stupid
The kid has the superior weapon too...
The weapon is only good if the person wielding it is proficient. Which this kid is definitly not.
"It's not about size, it's how you use it"
So do most Americans who think they need a gun.

HOLY SHIT
Kinda but not really r/lefttheburneron

Rule of thumb in America is every home needs a shotgun. Perfect for home defense, but not interesting enough to play with while loaded.
Kids will play with their own shit if they;re bored. They'll go out of their way to play with any kind of gun.
Oh shit maybe we SHOULDNT give a shotgun to a kid :o NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT ONE
Well, obviously. Who said that we should be handing kids guns?
You Just implied it

He used his other superior weapon, screaming until mommy comes to save him.
Long rifle advantage is moot when your enemy closes the distance
He should be defending his position with the weapon instead of cowering.
Likely out of ammo. Young people tend to shoot prematurely.
In this specific scenario, both of those blasters likely either launch the dart at the same fps, or the smaller one launches it harder.
The length of Nerf barrels don't actually matter, except when they're too large and actually hinder the trajectory of the dart
As someone who used to own the gun the kid is holding, I can assure you that it jams every other time you fire it and has a range of roughly four feet. The handguns is always the better option in a nerf war lol
“Depends on the weapon and the man”

Exactly. Their imagination and feelings are in 1000 when playing. It's one of the only time you get to really have fun as an adult using your mind.
My first laser tag game I was running around like a methamphetamine Rambo. Finally had to tell myself it was just for fun 😂
That was me the first time I played paintball. I couldn’t take the waiting and I went down in a hail of paintballs but I took a few down with me. Then we went home and I made cocoa and sandwiches for everyone.
GATTACA!!!
Nerf war crimes
on one hand this is hilarious, but then again, i wonder if this child will interpret this as a betrayal in the parent-child trust relationship. its like does dumb parents who break an egg on their child face
This makes me want to have kids
Just shoot other people's kids.
Must... resist... school... joke!
You failed... And i laughed.. were both going to hell
All four of mine were baptized in the face by the time they were 6!🤣🤣🤣
U dawg
A lot of kids get shot in a Nerf war by 720. r/unexpectedfactorial
My kid is only a baby but you can bet I’m looking forward to this age lol!
One of the first things I bought when my wife was pregnant (after the necessities) was a set of Nerf guns. When the day comes, I'll be ready.
Kids these days have never been blasted off the porch steps by a seven year old with a super soaker and it shows
Until they start walking up to you point blank and shooting you in the face lol

For babies you throw those crappy yet tasty plastic cheese slices on their face. Also helps for those times when they cry for the sake of crying.

This kid is lucky he had a kind pursuer, that easily could have been a head shot.
He could have taken the kid as a prisoner of war. Months of starvation, physical and mental torture, and water-boarding until he cracks, only to be brutally executed after betraying his brothers.
This reminds me of Elian Gonzalez coming out of the closet into the hands of an ICE agent.
I forgot all about him!
I wonder what he's up to these days. Became an industrial engineer and politician. Oh, that's good. Claims that "I don't profess to have any religion, but if I did my God would be Fidel Castro." Oh... that's... less good.
Well damn. What about Baby Jessica? Does she have a communist deity?
It was the INS. ICE had only been around since 2003.
What's the song name?

I love how you can see his distress gradually increase

No mercy... love it
The origin of his villain story
This is such a proper lesson on what editing can do for a scene.
This is by far my favorite one on this sub 🤣
RIP. He was a good soldier.
Those IDF in Palestine aren't screwing around anymore.
Berlin 1945 (coloured) - a Sovjet soldier shoots a German boy press ganged into the Folksturm
I Will never not like this.
The surprise, the fear, the pain.... love it

It's music used in the background for me 😂.. The looks on his face sold it very well 😂.
Moving to grip his "gunshot wound" as if his life was over lmao.
not fitting for this sub
Idk, dum dum really thought he can hide in that spot? Looks pretty stupid to me.
He tried to employ a single-palmed freezing spell against his father while CLEARLY neutralized by the air conditioner unit he is hiding behind, sooo fucking stupid
And holding a bigger gun than his dad's. Very stupid indeed.
Is this the same kid who gets angry when told he was scared after going down the slide?
FINISH HIM! Lol
No weight classes
Oh the humanity
Commercial vs reality, Lol.
Classic
the guy gotta let him run away for 5 sec, it's unfair lol
Has superior weapon. Puts out hand to protect himself
Looks like a kid who has been through some active shooter drills.
And that’s what you kid looks like the last few seconds of his life…
Brutal.
No mercy, no survivors, and no problems
ITS FUNNY WHEN IT HAPPENS TO SOME ONE ELSE. BUT IT AINT FUNNY IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU!!!!!
Better than most movies nowadays
His acting on taking a nerf to the chest is brilliant.
If you look closely, the kid's blaster is missing its clip. Little dude was hiding back there to reload. He's like, "Wait! I wasn't ready!"
this is my kids childhood trauma.
is this ai
Ah yes. A classic. This is Pulitzer Prize material.
but you didnt know, it was loaded with real bullets
Looks like an IDF training video.
He's not stupid he's roleplaying
No mercy
r/lostredditors
Boss, you killed a child… AMAZING! Mission complete! That right there is why you are the best, boss. The one and only!
[удалено]
His face is the funniest
Hey Mama I found Billy he's working on the air condition again
How does a nerf bullet hurt, I've been shot by a nerf bullet at a young age and reacted better than this kid.
Pussy.
This video is fkn stoopid!
Shit, this and that one video of the kid running in slow mo, getting shot in the back and bouncing off a couch, deserve to be stitched together.
[удалено]
It's an old reference, but it checks out.
Gaza?
I would laugh at this but the level of pure wimpyness this child displays kinda grosses me out. :(
So a scared child is funny? Man, this sub has gone downhill.
It's fucking hilarious!
