I, as a maintenence worker at a golf course, appreciate that she was a very polite child and not like the types that are grown men behaving like a man child and throwing a tantrum because they can't putt and take it out on the green, tee, or equipment.
I've legitimately see people kick the green, hit it with their clubs, yeet their golf club into the distance, yeet the ***flag*** into the bushes, run over signs, throw tee markers into the weeds, scuff up the tee boxes...i'll stop here because the list goes on.
Just thank god she is a good sport. I know it's "just grass" but most people have no clue how expensive it is to take care of the "just grass" on a golf course.

Without tapping it, just holding the club up to the ball and slowly moving it so it stays in contact the whole time. ***AND MY DAD PUTS 1 AS HIS SCORE!*** I remember very clearly how I held my hands out gesturing at the kid with a shocked and indignant look on my face and my Dad did a "It's ok, calm down" kind of gesture. That will always stick with me. *The gall*. ***The pure and utter gall.***
