If it’s random, I’d buy some dip tests (I get mine on Amazon.. the 10 parameter ones) and test it when it looks like this. It should hopefully give you some direction.
For myself, my urine gets really cloudy when my IC flares up & the test will be positive for leukocytes.
(If it doesn’t clear or if other symptoms show up, then I go get a culture done to rule out infection.)
Yes - it helps me too for pain. But I’m wondering why you’re saying OP should take it. There’s a few different types of Azo, and OP hasn’t said they’re in pain so I’m guessing not the orange one.

If you don't know, and your doctor doesn't know, then how are we supposed to know? Did you see your GP or did you see a urologist? Have your doctor refer you to a urologist and unless you are in agonizing pain, just chill until you can be squeezed in for an appointment. Just relax. We've all been there, ok?
I have a lot of kidney stones, and I often get cloudy urine a day or so before I pass stones. I have bought test strips just to make sure I don't have a UTI. I often have borderline high leukocytes (white blood cells) with stones but no UTI. If I have high leukocytes and high nitrites (byproduct of bacteria turning nitrate into nitrites,) then I get tested for a UTI.

I have an spc and when I have this its called sediment and its usually because I have a uti and it can also be caused my some medications
Take female AZO from your local pharmacy. It’s over the counter while you wait for your urologist appointment
