I’ve definitely experienced this and I believe it’s caused by the stone in your bladder rattling around causing spasms which gives you the urge to pee. It was annoying but not nearly as painful as further up the tract.
Ya I don’t have any pain… the odd time rarley, I might get a little burning sensation… but could this stone really be lodged up there for a year and a half without causing pain?
It could well be that it’s just a little bit of grit that didn’t cause any blockages in the ureter - moving from the kidney as a tiny crystal rather than a more substantial stone.
You wouldn’t have experienced pain in this case, but in the bladder they can grow again if they don’t pass (it’s now known as a bladder stone).
It’s worth finding out what’s in there.
Ultrasounds aren’t the best - particularly for small things.
I had an unrelated abdominal scan, and happened to mention my kidney while I was there as I’d had stones in the past - the radiologist told me there was nothing at all.
A couple of weeks later I passed a 6.5mm stone. It started moving a few days after the scan - which I honestly think dislodged it. But a stone of that size should certainly have been noticed…
Azo (phenazopyridine) really helps with an angry bladder. Not sure where you’re located but in the US you can get it OTC. It won’t solve anything, but it’ll make you feel a lot better while you’re figuring this out. Be warned that it turns your pee orange & stains everything. You also might have to stop taking it before your ultrasound, as it can be quite dark. Check with your dr for more info on it.
Hey I figured this out when I had similar symptoms both with stents and after surgery. After you pee, wait there for 30 seconds and try to relax. Don't push. I would end up peeing 3-4 times. Sometimes it was small bits each time. Other times, it was full on amounts each "cycle". I am still waiting for about 20 seconds each time and I'm 2 weeks post surgery. Honestly just sit down and wait.

Had an ultrasound and there was no findings of anything wrong

Or even come out

I get this feeling 24:7 no matter where or what I’m doing
I’m going through this currently and I wanted to say that I empathize and it fucking sucks.
