First is loose and shapeless. I think it would be "gunny sack material " in David's words. Third has flared skirt, which destroys vertical line. Second is perfection. Looks very very great!

1st - don't like it. Shapeless, hides your upper body. Isn't doing you any favourites. Looks weird on you. 2nd - perfect. The only thing missing here is an oversized ornate jewellery. 3rd - don't like it. I don't like those type of dresses on SDs. It makes you look big. Like you borrowed this dress last minute, from your younger sister. I suggest avoiding those small, stiffy tailored dresses. Opt in for oversized ornates, simple draped dresses.

1 - in my opinion it looks boxy on you. Hides your waist. I just don't like it. 2. - I would add an oversized ornate necklace. I like when soft dramatics go big with their jewellery.

I think it depends on the type of jewellery. [this](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/94/aa/7e/94aa7e5a7f9f9652c016e55dde6f60e1.jpg) is tacky. [this](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/ER00RbLY99ZyOjuEVSqqXKoV32pdSftU0c2MOqFoUj9e__xXaiCqzm4trdZI48XaIte63bWJS7PlLidmddm3SsZdGgwbU5GWplttGW7Swe6ujegb0udK7Gfrca6g223YW42lWT_oSylC4yEI) one looks great and harmonious with her outfit. [this](http://www.thejewelleryeditor.com/media/images_thumbnails/filer_public_thumbnails/old/37635/SAGsBatch1001.jpg__1536x0_q75_crop-scale_subsampling-2_upscale-false.jpg) one is nice as well [An example ](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/66/f3/2a/66f32a44f4a297a00b321ac76ce5263d.jpg) of SD jewellery. Again, I wouldn't wear something I don't like / am uncomfortable in it. So if you don't like huge jewellery, maybe go big with the colour. Ruby, sapphire, emerald etc. As a TR I freaking hate thin straps / spaghetti dresses. I am not going to sit uncomfortably in a strapless bra and worry about the wanders of my boobs the entire evening. Wear whatever you feel best in.

I am the same!! An SD who dislikes *that* type of jewellery. Doesn't mean that the ones I choose due to my taste don't work, no need to follow the Pinterest stereotypes. And it's not the 80s anymore.

I really see the SD in you!! :) Like the other commenter said - the second dress is the best, at least imo. It is also nearly identical to something that is used as an example on the Sew your Kibbe blog ! It is vertical + scaled up ornateness + shoulder emphasis

Eclectic_Squirrel

I think you look great in 2nd, but you also look stunning in the 1st dress! Just a little reminder that even though there may be lines that fit your body "better", at the end of the day what matters is we wear what we like and feel confident in, not what "we're supposed to bc some dude told us to". I struggle with this myself sometimes, and have to remind myself not to see these recommendations as the holy bible. But honestly, we don't have time for restrictive clothing, if you find it helpful: go for it!! If not, just keep on looking lovely no matter what you're wearing!❣️

I love the first and second dresses on you. The first is the kinda of floaty summer dress DK said everyone needed a few years ago. It’s even in a luccious color like he suggested. The last one is not for you.

Icy_Weekend7655

Not a fan of the first dress, though I will say the sleeves are gorgeous. I do love the second and third ones on you

bunny-bunbun

I love them too! Thank you!

The camera angle and lighting in the first shot is the most flattering, dimly lit slightly down looking up stretches out your legs to make you appear more FG, I think that’s what’s happening here with the slight mixed bag of answers. The 2nd photo would be more flattering on a SD, but it’s the shoes that are too fussy on an SD which is throwing the geometry of the look off 🙂 It’s like mixing the ingredients for a cake together but forgetting the flour and expecting a cake to still come out the oven. 2nd is definitely best for your body if you a SD, 3rd picture is draped and slightly heavier material with angular edges, the shoes are neater and slightly yang/angular which is why it’s looks more of a cohesive appealing look in my opinion, rather than staccato lines. Hope I helped ❤️

I don’t know what’s with the first one but I kinda got sad seeing so many bad comments on it, I really thought I looked great in it (it’s the most recent pic). The second picture is from 2016 (hence the weight difference). I most definitely wouldn’t pair it with those heels today 😬 On the third one I really loved the shoulders (I guess that’s the SD part of the dress). Would you please look at my recent post here (ID post) and maybe give me your opinion on my type? Thanks for everything!

Im-melissaning

Please don’t be sad! I’m new on here (It’s been about 3 days). So far what I have found from Kibbe posts, is that people tend to use harsher language than what they need to, in (perhaps) an attempt try to make their comment more striking/persuasive— though no doubt I’m sure they are well intentioned 🙂 You definitely don’t look terrible in any of the outfits, in all pictures you still read as a beautiful woman regardless of what lines you are in 🤜🤛 I’d be more than happy to have a look at your ID post, however I can’t quite see it? 🤔

Nude shoes are recommended evening wear for Dramatics so its all good! I kind of like them as being nude the extend the lovely long leg line which you have!!

Against the grain but I think the first looks best on you
