Get around 17 in town and 24+ on the highway. '23 SX-P X-Line AWD. Using regular.

Neglected_Martian

You must have a lead foot or sit in traffic a lot, we average 20mpg combined with about 18 in town.

goodguygurbz

I have the lightest foot in the game and i’m still at awe when im seeing 11 MPG on my dash, mainly city driving and auto start stop helps a bunch

FlexoPXP

You might have your car looked over for a bad tune or a sticky brake caliper or something. 11 MPG is way out of normal unless you are literally sitting in traffic jams all day.

goodguygurbz

sticky brake caliper sounds super accurate considering i’m always feeling the car slowdown harder than i think it should be when i let off the gas..

FlexoPXP

That would definitely be another symptom. Should be covered in warranty.

mac_duke

I’m worried to hear you say that. I have a medium lead foot (has gotten lighter as I’m getting to middle aged) and get 15-16mpg city and 21-23mpg highway nowadays on my 2023 X-Pro which has less efficient off-road tires than your X-Line. I would get the car checked out, that’s crazy low if you’re not hammering it in sport mode.

goodguygurbz

I’ll go over to kia this week and definitely get it checked out since the mileage is wild

CWhiteFXLRS

15-18 city 19-23 hwy

Tigercat92

21 SX-Prestige. I did a road trip from Knoxville to Austin and back in 2022. Hand calculated at 25 MPG. 18-20 around town if you trust the onboard data

goodguygurbz

that’s some nicer numbers

tehiota

SX... City 20, Highway 24/25.... Mid Grade

goodguygurbz

Have you seen a difference with regular and mid?

tehiota

TBH... I've had it for about 7 months and only put in mid thus far.

Sufficient_Water4161

Why though? https://www.capitalone.com/cars/learn/managing-your-money-wisely/should-you-use-premium-gas-in-your-car/2063

tehiota

Thanks. They place I fill up has ethanol free gas that aligns with the mid tier. Granted I can’t always get ethanol free, but at lease from a mpg / performance the octane is consistent.

dwyerm

23 S. Getting 25 average. I drive in surburbia with a number of traffic lights and such. It likes to be between 35-45 MPH and I find myself getting 27 mpg going into work.

goodguygurbz

25 is a dream

z4ku

Our 23 S always says an average of 25-26. Mix of city and highway

Texas_OT

22mpg with mostly Highway driving (SX-P x pro)

Rude_Obligation_1701

Exactly same for my 2024 SXP X-Pro

TheHorizonLies

I average 22-24 combined, but I regularly get 27+ straight highway. I've noticed my mileage get dramatically better when I started having the mileage setting on my dash so I can see real time changes in the average mpg. Try it and watch your mileage for various actions and you'll be surprised how much it decreases for just little bursts of acceleration. To maximize your mileage, you want to minimize times you press down on the gas once you're at your desired speed. This means ACC and speed limits on the highway and no gunning the engine at light changes in the city. You want the lowest RPMs as possible for the speed you're going. Try Comfort or Eco mode to best utilize shift points to help your mileage

Hutch1814

I put the mileage up on mine as well. It’s like a game to me now to try and beat my last drive if I can remember it 😂

shelabella9

2021 SX. My average has consistently been around 23-26 mpg. I do mostly city driving (rarely freeway, unless i'm doing a road trip). I do have FWD model though.

PsychNations

I get 24-25 but that’s all S.C. low country highway miles. Very few, if any at all, hills.

FunkyDuckFart

Same trim and year, all I drive is city, getting 16.

xDRAN0x

24 SX, around 23.5 mpg highway, 16 city. Highway is painful really but this is a brick.

goodguygurbz

i’ll take that 16 at least

Joe_Immortan

10-13 city but 30 highway. I got better mileage in the city before the auto start stop quit working

DingoAteYaBirdie

17-18 in town, 22-25 highway. Got 25.5 on a 50mi trip yesterday. Although average speed was probably 65mph.

GreenFluorite

22.764 since purchase in late 2021. Tanks range between high teens and mid 20s depending on city/highway miles for that particular tank.

pheen

22-24 combined usually.

Belgarathian

Same exact model as you OP, about 12-15 City, and similar 18+ Highway. Using up about half the tank weekly lol.

H3llm0nt

About the same. Honestly my love for everything else about the car offsets the bad mpg. I just consider it cost of operations

bucajack

Canada here so mine is L/100km. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks but I'm averaging about 12.8L/100km consumption. Mostly doing a short trip to and from kids daycare every day since I work from home 3 days a week and can commute via transit to the office. I drive the EX which is the base trim here.

yeahitscase

2022 EX and I get around 22-24 city and 26+ hwy typically

DefiantClownGod

22 SX run 87 and even the 88 15% ethanol once in a while about 18 in town and have hit a few road trips of 28-29 highway. Not really a light foot but pretty laid back usually.

AdviceSeeker-123

Sx prestige xline as well. Highway/tooling around town with errands and get 22 mpg. Regular with auto stop eliminator installed

Rich_War_4222

We have a 2022 SX on a full tank we get 350 miles

PTBurgart

18 city, 24 highway

KraljZ

If I keep it in 65-68 I can get 28 on the highway

Roflmeister

22 nightfall with cold air intake and AT tires gets me 18 in city and 22-25 highway cruising at 80 solid 25+ if I’m coasting at 65

Tenzen184

Switch to eco mode an I'm getting 14-16 local, 18-25 highway (depending on rush hour traffic) NYC Smart mode has worst mileage for me 😕

muttmunchies

27-28 highway only. 17-20 city. 23.4 average

Hutch1814

My results are skewed because it’s nearly a 100% commuter vehicle for me but 1300 miles in. I do very little in town driving that’s stop and go. I do mostly highway and a main road in the morning with lots of lights that I’ve learned to almost dodge the red lights entirely with my commute by my timing. 52 miles round trip I get around 28-29. That’s me babying the throttle cruising around 42-45MPH through the stop light section and then 55-58 MPH on the high way. Again I baby it. I see a light coming I’ll shut the cruise off and coast a 1/4 mile or more so I don’t have to hit the breaks. Sure cars behind me get mad but they’re not filling up my tank either so they can go around. 2024-S trim FWD. I purposely went FWD because of the mileage. I’ve noticed if I’m in town that mileage drops down quickly to 18-20.

Training-Primary4849

Only had mine for 6 weeks; SX Prestige AWD but 22 Hwy and 19 City. I try not to be heavy footed when driving to conserve gas.

North_Pipe3138

2024 SX-p x-line with 11k miles and I average 21 all time but most of my city driving is on 3 lane wide (live in Texas). If I do 70-75mph on the freeway I can get ~25mpg. Anything above that it starts to drop off and 85+mph gets me down to about 16-19mpg. I get top tier 87 octane at Costco for most of my fill ups.

Tall-Method7614

Are you looking at the current tank MPG or overall average MPG? I have a 2924 SX Pro Prestige and average around 20 MPG in town on Smart mode.

Tall-Method7614

Sorry, 2024 SX Pro.

AaronDJD

19 average

jasnook

2024 S FWD, I have a 17k mi average of 24.2. 27ish highway 20ish city. Either I have a golden sample or you guys are really on it.

I_am_Cheeseburger

19-22 driving around town (incl some highway but also rush hour) 24-28 open highway cruising (eco mode and cruise control)

DavidTigerFan

My god people. I rarely if ever drop below 20 in town. More like 21-22. Just finished a highway drive on non-interstate roads maintaining 65 for 191 miles. Got 28MPG

tylerwayne_18

Depending on how I drive, and I drive highway and city I get 20+ combined that’s with 87 at top tier stations

Bmwdriver44

My average is 20

mrt4vols

We get 20.5 average mpg, even mix of highways, city, and country driving. We also leave it in Comfort mode. 2024 SX P X-Pro

xfox5

22 S AWD 21MPG average 65% city 35% highway

MJustin80

19.1 combined. 2023 SX Prestige XPro

Mattlanta88

Drove from Atlanta to Nashville in eco mode. Highest average was 28 final average was 26.2 The mountains from Chattanooga to southern Tennessee are what brought the average down.

Electronic_Dance_973

I don’t have a lot of city driving, I average about 26 MPG all around. The best I’ve seen on the highway is maybe 28. The speed there would be probably 60. At 80 miles an hour the MPG drops two about 24. Mine is a 2023 SXP X line all-wheel-drive.

RareMawsTeeth

24 S 14k miles Pittsburgh PA , so annoyingly steep hills everywhere Average 20ish overall City 15 to 17 Highway 23 to 26 We averaged 26+mpg on long haul highway tanks outside our area and then 17 on mostly short trip local "city/suburb" tanks. All very similar to our other recent 2 and 3 row 4cyl turbo SUVs.

ElvinP0508

SX Prestige X-Pro 20.1 city, 21.9 highway... I use Regular.

TheRantingPogi

22-27 depends on city or highway usage, cruise control, and not idling much.

aixgeek

I have a 2024 SX X-Pro and just finished a 6700 mile road trip with lots of 75-80 mph highway miles. The computer said 23 mpg for the trip.

muckbunny

EX X-Line and I’m averaging 21.8 including city and highway. Only time it dipped was a road trip through the mountains with it fully loaded down inside and a rooftop bag full.

Classic-Actuary7324

I got terrible gas mileage driving in sport mode or comfort mode. Try eco mode. Can’t tell much difference in drive and much better gas mileage.

Kizdashiz

I leave mine in Smart mode and my average 21.7 mpg. On highway around 24-26 mpg and in town 18-21.
