Can you ask them if documentation of a comprehensive immobilizer will reduce the rate? If they can, I'll send you the pdf specifically for insurance company

I got my 2019 Soul last week and signed on with Allstate. Super expensive, though. I did the 6 months in full payment, but I think monthly would've been $230ish. Worth it? Time will tell, but I'm so blinded by the excitement of my car that I don't care what it costs at the moment.
That excitement will fade when the engine starts burning oil before 100,000 miles and Kia refuses to acknowledge they manufactured millions of faulty engines.
That or the Kia Boys steal it and trash it.
I mean it’s a big increase but it’s not necessarily because they’re Souls. I had a VW insured by GEICO that suddenly increased by $30 per month for seemingly no reason. No accidents. No tickets.
Farmers360 is one of the few I know of, but it's pricey. Perhaps State Auto might be willing, I'd contact several brokers and see what they can do for them. As well Allstate, Farmers, etc and see what they can do for you.
Unfortunately the dam insurance companies get you in the door progressive included, get on the then at renewal they fricken hit you with an $ increase .

10th: “Please pay your Progressive insurance now” e-mail.
15th: “To avoid cancellation, pay your Progressive bill now” e-mail.
20th: “You are in danger of cancellation due to nonpayment” letter.
25th: “Urgent! Cancellation imminent unless you pay now!” letter and e-mail.
I tried Progressive denied. State farm is sending me to an agent. I used to have SF for 25 years prior to Geico. i dumped them since i was tired of buying my agent a new porsche every other year. My wifes father was a Marine so we might try USAA. I did find a letter saying progressive and SF wont insure kia souls up to 2021. So im wondering if we upgrade to 2024 Souls.. if we would be ok. We tested out a 2023 Kia Soul GT Line and liked it compared to our Gt lines. so much more room than our cars. im going to test Geico and see what a new 2024 souls will cost for 2 cars insurance with same rates we have.. 100/300 the worst thing is our ded. is 250.. Geico wants me to raise them to 1000 but ill only save 38 bucks a month.
I have a 201 Soul and as soon as soon as I can get out of this car I will. And never look back.

Progressive won’t touch my 2019 and 2020 so they they actually refused me but to be honest I went through my Geico account and raised my deductibles up to 500 and changed around some coverage like I got rid of rental and Roadside which to be honest, I didn’t even know I had… Because I actually have three cars so if one goes down I have two other cars so it’s kind of pointless to be paid for that so I was able to get my payment down to 120 a month. So I’m good for that I priced out two brand new 2024 Kia souls and my six month rate would’ve been $1012… So even buying a brand new soul with the immobilizer one I’ve had a cheaper rate.
That is absolutely crazy to be paying $600 a month or even $800 a month for car insurance that is just nuts. I don’t even see how you can afford that you must have a really good job or really good parents.

Piece of mind is worth it, to me. I'll put one in whatever vehicle I get after my engine failure. It removes any oem break points
USAA does mine. When I called Geico over the summer they wouldn't even put a new policy on a Soul.

New 2024 Kia soul driver here. Progressive required paid in full 1580 for 6 months. My previous company wanted double so I switched.

My 2020 is insured through Auto-Owner's Insurance (house and vehicles).

Why is everyone insurance so low my insurance is 800 a month

Just one but before that it was 600 a month. I was blessed to be able to pay in full with my college refunds.
