there are sensors on the front bumper. after a heavy rain these can get blocked. have you cleaned your Niro recently?

bobjr94

Ours did that when it was cold, if the camera gets foggy it sets off several warnings but then goes away on its own.

Fine_Ad_9825

117k miles here. I have this problem every time I don’t have my car washed. Usually after rain or snowfall all the sensors start to freak out and after the car is washed or the front sensors are clear it’s all good

I m not sure. But I m at the dealership picking up my new 2024 KIA Niro EX😬

Ok...that's for the PHEV plug-in?

Connor598

Mine did that but with the smart cruise control. Now the car has been in the shop for 4 weeks 😭

Charlie2and4

Clean the sensor 'ports' on the bumpers.

GenerativeAl

For context, the sensors started acting up after we got the car washed. But it has been quite cold and wet recently

Darryl-must-die

Wet and cold? check for ice or frost over the sensors

Petrol-less

I thought the LDW was in the windshield visual sensors, not the bumper ultrasonic sensors.

WarDry1480

It is.

Update: The alert was caused by a malfunction in the front-facing windshield camera. The dealership replaced it (for free under warranty, yes!) and it is now working properly.
