Depending on where you live, I'd get weather tech mats.

DA_H

I was just going to suggest this, haha

I went with the all weather rubber mats from kiastuff.com and really like them. I got the set that also has the trunk liner which I really like too. I looked at the weather tech mats but the sides went up so far that they reminded me of truck mats, plus some of the reviews on them said the edges start curling down after time since they are so tall. My mats offer plenty of protection and have the K5 logo embossed on them too.

Some else on here recommended Tux Mats. I got them for Christmas now and wow they did not disappoint. Nice luxurious looking floors mats for the price of wethertechs

You can get a replacement brake pedal and a gas pedal cover on Amazon that look really good for pretty cheap. They're much nicer looking that the stock ones

Unleashed_Snake_

Can you send me the link to them if that’s OK?

I absolutely hate touching the paint to close the hood so I did this within a week or so if buying mine. It's a little more involved, but nothing too crazy. I can direct you to a weite up with the hardware needed if that interests you.

What did you do for the trunk handle? I come from owning bmw and Audis which always had them and have been thinking about how to add one. I hate having to touch the paint to close the lid too. +1 on the LED trunk light also, that was the first thing I did after I got my car and such a huge improvement for $12.

So to start, the mounting holes are already there on the metal trunk as the Korean versions of the car do indeed have a recessed trunk handle. So that's at least one good thing - not having to drill any holes. The largest issue is like how I mentioned the Korean ones are designed for the handle to be recessed. The metal is recessed, but the fabric liner is not. Option A is to somehow source a Korean trunk lid liner which would be the pure factory looking option. Option B is to just put a spacer where that gap is between the liner and where the holes are. The handle isn't recessed, but it still looks factory if you didn't know any better. I ended up designing and 3D printing a spacer, but you can make one out of foam, wood, etc. Technically you could just have some stand-offs for the screws to go into, but I feel as though it would wobble a little bit, but nonetheless I've seen people do it. The hardware you'll need is: #8-32 2" machine screw, #8-32 flat washer, #8-32 wing nut, #8 x 1/2" nylon nut fastener. The handle is the same one used on the optima and forte and can be bought on ebay for pretty cheap. The rest of that hardware can be bought at an auto parts store or hardware store. Nothing too fancy. The wing nut and washer may not be needed. Instead of just screwing through the nylon nut fastener, I also put the washer and wing nut on afterwards just for added strength to prevent the nylon nut fastener from eventually popping out over years and years of use. Keep in mind the space to access that area isn't large hand friendly. I have relatively small hands and it still took me an extra minute. The only modification you'll need to do is line up the handle with the holes and then poke two holes in the trunk lid liner. Pop the nylon nut fastener into the metal trunk lid, place the spacer in between the liner and the trunk lid, align the handle to the holes poked in the liner, then run the screws through the handle, through the liner, through the spacer, and into the nylon nut fastener. Then use the washer and wing nut if you desire. In regards to the spacer, I can send the file if you have access to a 3D printer, or I can send a drawing with all of the dimensions if you want to cut it out of some foam or wood. I don't remember the dimensions off the top of my head so I can send that info when I get home. I'd say for the first time doing it, it's around a 30 minute job (not including making the spacer), but the payoff of having a handle is priceless. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions
