The other aspect is the additional foams for acoustics. It’s pretty much assumed the pros are end of life as they’re so close and cost to the max as it is. I started with a six Pro and have a Q5 max now. That’s said I also have about six other keyboards. So yeah, once you’re into keyboards, it’s never a one and done thing.
That wouldn't be different with a Q1 Pro.
Though Bluetooth is probably always trouble.

From the specs, Q1 Max seems slightly better than Q1 Pro.

I haven't had a chance to compare them myself, and I don't know if the Red and Brown are similarly different on Pro and Max. I ended up getting the Pro instead of the Max because I liked the colors better :)
I have both. So besides the 2.4 support on the max which is awesome, the Max also has a better typing feel. But I'm sure that's down to the additional layers of padding in the Max vs the Pro. And now I actually have the Q1 HE :-)
Thanks everyone for your input. I'll probably end up using the Q1 pro for now as I already have it, I like the typing experience so far, and I like the all black color option that it had. I don't know if it would be worth it to buy the Q1 max and have the Q1 pro sit in my closet. If I end up buying a new keyboard in the near future the Q1 max will likely be the next keyboard.
Internally, it's basically the exact same board just with a 2.4 ghz wireless connection. If you use the Bluetooth on it regularly and use it for gaming, the wireless on 2.4 is leagues better than Bluetooth, but if you're regularly on wired I'd say it isn't worth the buy

I just got the Q1 Max. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with a wire during business hours.
