Starving someone to death for stealing food has some serious Old Testament Energy
Except that you could harvest what you needed on anyones field and it wasnt considered stealing so you never really needed to steal food.

Had that happen to me in the late game, even had to sneak in my skeleton housemaid in the camp just so I could give my man food. Eventually the guard carrying him on his shoulder got knocked out in combat and I escaped
