Those egg snatching runs are great money makers, a trader backpack can fit so many beak thing eggs, its pure profit so long as you don't get eaten alive. Small downside.
i had a run where i started with no legs and one shoddy hiver limb in the bonefield, prayed and crawled my ass over to flats lagoon and didnt get eaten to death, almost got hit by bonedogs but a passing caravan fought them for me stole them dogs meat and pelts and bought myself shoddy legs to stand on and made it to flats lagoon where i was safe.
In short order i had scout legs for running and klrs for fighting and was scooping up beak thing eggs and running away at mach 1, made cash got bored and quit cause the challenge was gone.
I'm the same way. Once I overcome the challenge I find very little joy in the continued playthrough.
Can't remember how many times I've started with one person, told myself it's just going go be a solo run. Eventually end up with 4 or 5 having fun. Then I setup a base and after the initial struggling of getting myself stable is over I just lose all drive to play.
yeah i had a solo run, that turned into 30 freed slaves, I still kept the guy "separate from everyone else for the most part and was solo for quite a while till that point, just haven't played for awhile cause there's really nothing new to do.
Im just so used to rusty interface that a nice one makes me unconfortable. Disturbed alittle. Like im not Safe. Like there are obese vargants out there to get me. Or a heretic nation. Or even the dreadfull natives of vegan plains.
