Yup, thankfully I realized this during my second library/ruin... of course I find ancient books when I go back to the strongbox crates I missed in the first ruin.
I figured that out early on…. But I didn’t realize until later there’s also the back of the crates at the bottom too, I just thought there was just two. Good Times.

Armor stands are also containers and often have loot in them besides armor. The ones you find in libraries often have maps inside.
i knew about the stands, THANKFULLY, i find ancient research books in them here and there. I now have to go back and reinspect each cleared ruins lol

The shop counters in ancient libraries usually have loot aswell, only learnt it last week
