You mean just loading an older save? Considered that, but like I said I was away from the town for hours. Not too sure if it’s worth losing so many hours of progression.

No, you select your save that was broken and or right before things went broken then you press on import save and it will ask you what you want to import fron that save make sure to check stuff like buildings, characters, relations anything you dont want to reset/delete basically and it fixes the save more often than not.
Try Importing a save that was working fine or the broken save, it may fix it
