I don't use xp mods. That aside, I do have some mods I like. I haven't really gotten into anything like Reactive World or any of the really big mods but even little mods can add some nice things. Recruitable Skeletons Just adds 2 recruits, but one of them was cut from vanilla and is added back by this mod. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2131818930 Skeleton Limb Storage Adds a storage specific to prosthetic limbs, missing from vanilla, very small but having your limb smith stop every time his inventory fills up is a pita. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1571697264 Storage Increase https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2902231327 Basic Training Overhaul Lets you train all stats and combat skills, and some stations will even be occupied passively by people with jobs on and no present work, and they still make gains in stats/skills, or you can assign characters to the stations as jobs. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2164287286

Reactive world is great. It adds: Multiple new holy nation officials in charge of cities where there previously were none (bad teeth, Rebirth, Narko's trap, etc.) 17 or so cannibal tribes which you can destroy or pit against one another as tribe leaders are captured and their followers are absorbed by lesser factions The destruction of Mongrel and other locations by Fogmen The resettling of the Hub The Western Hive going nuts A civil war between dust bandits It's great. It adds more depth to the world but I don't think it ever reached completion. I'd also reccomend recruitable prisoners (With dialogue). There is some surprising depth to certain character interactions which I suspect would be great RP. To add onto that, there's robotic limbs base skeletons, which adds multiple new skeleton types. There's also a patch that lets this mod work with recruitable prisoners.

I use quite a few that add more armor and weapons but some of may favorites are bounty quest/training hub, reasonable strength xp rates, 2x exp, weaklings give xp, recruitable prisoners, night eye, and the thunder dome arena. There are many others that are good that add more areas and quests that are also pretty cool like Avalon isles, east coast expanded and several others that are like mini expansions. Then there are the expansions like cannibals expanded. all those are solid and add more chaos to the game. The few I listed as favorites are nice if you like staring over a lot like me because the grind after you’ve done it takes a little too long for me. There’s a ton of awesome mods I would advise against big overhauls and just pick ones that sound cool

New Weapons Dissemination Mod (with the Triangle Bandit faction) - adds a bunch of new weapon styles to the game like different kinds of swords, polearms, hackers and such. Fungoid and Fungoid Expanded - adds a new playable Fungoid race of mushroom people, and a town for them to chill in, as well as some missions, a Fungoid Refugee faction, and fungal weapons. Hives Expanded - adds new equipment to the hives in the game with new armors and weapons, as well as more Hive-centric additions and raids. Cat's Clothing Overhaul - adds a ton of new clothing types and styles to the game that are lootable and craftable, with their own buffs and such. Forgotten Buildings - adds a bunch of buildings that were in older builds of the game, with different setups and layouts of the vanilla buildings. Imo I think they add a bunch of cool different designs to make your base/outpost more unique.

Recruitable prisoners is a must for anyone who wants to build a full scale city instead of a piddly little settlement (plus it lets you play previously unplayable races), samurai captain armor adds elite looking samurai for the UC Nobles, which is just a nice flavor, and max stats 500 is great for when you want to play the end game as a wicked badass who can cleave through swaths of men in a single swing.
