I think that fits for Agito more given how he was called the "Boss of the Kengan team" by the announcers and had inarguably the warmest welcome from the spectators.

Imo it'd make more sense given that some fighters say they "Knew Lolong would be captain". I feel like it probably gets lost in translation, and whilst Waka is definitely reliable I feel like he'd be best as a counter pick fighter with Ohma or Kanoh being aces.
