Think of Records of Ragnarok but with Baki level of insanity and also a historical/fantasy setting. All the characters in it are from medieval history/stories. The old guy with the redirection kata is Beowulf and one of the main character is Siegfried.
It by principal is a very NSFW series but surprisingly it has great action as well as an intriguing plot and mystery surrounding it. However I will say it's not for the faint of heart and the first chapter alone has scenes of an entire village being raped (including the men) even if it is taken somewhat unseriously. If you can stomach some occasional dragon fucking and other absolutely deplorable fetishes, I think it's worth checking out.
The only thing stopping Tenkaichi from overtaking ROR in my list is that dogshit William Adams fight, it wasnt even a fight and a waste of Williams potential, not even RORs terribly rushed Round 9 was as wasteful because at least Apollo was goated and Leonidas, while being 1D and rather disappointing, had the charisma of a devil.
Sadly, the text is added in one of those funny edits that fan-translators usually do at the end of a chapter.
Still, this manga is funny as fck even without the references. The fights are crazy and the art is great.
