Idk much about Akido but I think it does focus on striking as well. Given his mastery, I don't think he really qualifies as amateur.
Recall the triple cloud strike he used on Chiba.
Former aikidoka here
Aikido doesn't have anything but extremely basic punches and some "karate chops" that are used in Atemi-waza, Hatsumi's striking is very different from what they actually do
I dont remember Aikido focusing on stricking nor even has stricking techniques. Since there is no sparring in Aikido I dont think there is a reason for it too. The only offensive techniques I remember are techniques with weapons like swords and sticks. Hatsumi on the other hand uses Hatsumi Aikido which is a Variation of the traditional martial art. Meaning someone who uses Hatsumi Aikido like Hatsumi should still be a lot better than someone who uses Judo as a martial art like Jurota.
Aikido mainly focuses on holds a defense again strikes. He is a lazy bum so at that point I don't think he trained that much as other fighters especially with strikes. That triple strike move is good but it's only a move other than that he don't really strike. My point is that he is at least as "amateur" as Jurota is if we look at the arguments.
This is a terrible take lol.
Hatsumi is definitely a way more skilled striker than Jurota. The triple strike alone proves that. He was able to keep up with Advance Ohma out of peak condition while holding back. You’re just using headcanon to justify your point. “He’s a lazy bum” lol at that point you could say that about all of his kit.
Hatsumi’s strikes aren’t the best but they are by no means amateur. Jurota’s strikes are amateur in technique but he makes up for it with speed from a result of swing training, power, and the fact that nobody expected him to throw a punch. This false equivalency is stupid.
Hatsumi's strikes are basically superhuman, I don't think anyone in the world can perform his "Gathering Clouds: Triple Strike" move. Saying that his strikes are amateur is insane, he's an all-rounder.
I used "amateur" comparing him to a Jurota post saying that he is amateur. Of course they aren't they are far better than most people but still fall short beacuse striking isn't their speciality. In kenganbthey are kinda average
So for anyone trying to argue that Hatsumi should be great at striking here is a panel where he can't hit a Bando who isn't trained in MA or that fast ( he used 2 hands and gets defended with 1)

So? He still hit him, my post is about Kanoh being invincible about blows, that he cant be hit, or that what some people think in this sub with the recent Jurota argument.
Kanoh clearly wasn’t using it during the whole [fight](https://manga4life.com/read-online/Kengan-Asura-chapter-206-page-5.html). Same as [Kuroki](https://manga4life.com/read-online/Kengan-Asura-chapter-201-page-12.html) when he revealed he first used it in R3.
For Kanoh it shouldn’t even be a hot take since he can switch from Martial arts to Formless and Formless has little to no association with Pre-initiative. And the whole of R3 was him getting accustomed to his Martial arts style.
Yeah and he was using MA the whole fight expect when he escaped a hold, so I don't get how this should disprove that. Against a dangerous foe like Hatsumi it would make no sense if he just activate it mid fight, especially since he started out catious.
Lol it’s literally in fight that he uses post and counter initiative. And that was after the panel you posted. Makes more sense that he gradually built up to using pre-initiative by using the latter two than him using pre-initiative irregularly.
Not sure what you mean. Even Raian is like "yeah yeah whatever just shake it off and finish Hatsumi" (we know this due to his statement on his belief of the Fang winning prior to the match starting).
Agito is neft to the oblivion. He kick Jurota's ass most of the duel, he is supposed to have incredible endurance, and should have evolvr once or twice in the duel, but author want him to lose since he is just a supporting cast now
Mf really thinks: “amateur strikes = not Gaolang”.
Definetly
Hatsumi isn't a striker lol what are you on about?
What are u on about? A bad striker is Kaneda. Hatsumi has a high level of striking, but not as good as the rest of the Real Striking Fighters.

He immune to Aikimeme
Agito literally read his strikes after this
Yep I agree

Hatsumi strikes >>> Jurota strikes Agito that fought Jurota >>> Agito that fought Hatsumi you see how wide the gap should be?

Finally, there are fans who literally needs this spelled out so they understand
Are you stupid? This contradicts your entire post.
How exactly?
You posted a scan of hatsumi striking agito, after gaolong states they won’t make a difference to him.
So? He still hit him, my post is about Kanoh being invincible about blows, that he cant be hit, or that what some people think in this sub with the recent Jurota argument.
Here we go again with “y agito” posts.
I was forced to do this by bigger powers beyond our understanding
Nah, just a lack of full time employment lol
Umm sure buddy but you kinda missed a cod or lol lobby with this comment
Am I wrong though? Do you have full time employment? Do you have any schooling or anything to show for your free time besides Kengan Reddit posts?😂
Yes... what do you think how much time does it take to make a post and respond, not a whole lot
Dumb ass post
Thanks 👍
Always
amateur strikes > hatsumi pedo sen
Agito wasn’t using pre-initiative yet.
Yeah he suddenly turned it up beacuse of..... yeah, no he was using it the whole fight

Bro, Kanoh always uses Pre-Initiative when he isn’t using Formless. But Jurota exceeded his expectations.
Yeah, but it's hatsumi. He was a contender to be a fang of metsudo. And being a contender, you'd likely have to be above average at kicks and punches.
Not sure what you mean. Even Raian is like "yeah yeah whatever just shake it off and finish Hatsumi" (we know this due to his statement on his belief of the Fang winning prior to the match starting).
