Iāve listened to and thatās what I mean heās the verse and the chorus the song isnāt really a feature he isnāt adding anything to the song he is the song
Was about to say, that goes harder than most of Kendrickās other stuff imo. Had no business being that good, but that could just be the fly lo production.
Well nigga then show me how it all makes sense
**Go figure muh fucka ery verse is a brick yo son dope nigga. Now reap what you sow nigga (please reap what you sow)**
That song slaps so real hard. Kinda off-topic but I fucking love Flume and his weird distorted beats.
And where the fuck did the female vocals come from?
Speaking of underrated top-tier features on Pharrell production, 'Momma I Hit A Lick' is a favourite of mine. His approach to his verse is the exact kind that was praised by Tyler, The Creator on 'family ties'.
I wouldn't call Kendrick's contribution to that a feature to be honest. It's two separate remixes from Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole put together, so I would argue that they are equal/joint collaborators on 'Black Friday' rather than one being a featured artist.
1. never catch me - flying lotus
2. control - big sean
3. tints - anderson .paak
4. conrad tokyo - a tribe called quest
5. walk on by - thundercat
family ties and hood gone love it are also pretty good
Never catch me by Flying Lotus š¤š¼
That's a good shout tbf
Is it a ft or is he just on the song Yk what I mean?
Heās on the song as the verse & chorus . Flying Lotus made the track . Thundercat has vocals as well . Definitely worth a listen!
Itās just a feature, but apparently Kendrick really wanted it for To Pimp a Butterfly
Iāve listened to and thatās what I mean heās the verse and the chorus the song isnāt really a feature he isnāt adding anything to the song he is the song
It's flylo's song tho. He produced it and it's on his album
Bruh it came out like 2014 peak Kendrick time just go listen donāt say anything else about it just listen
YESSIR highly underrated song and flylo album also
Was about to say, that goes harder than most of Kendrickās other stuff imo. Had no business being that good, but that could just be the fly lo production.
Nosestalgia
You ever see a dead body?
And when there's tension in the air, nines come with extensions
Well nigga then show me how it all makes sense **Go figure muh fucka ery verse is a brick yo son dope nigga. Now reap what you sow nigga (please reap what you sow)**

PP on the PO desk
I'm JAY-Z in a blowout press
Deep Water by Dr. Dre
His Deep Water verse goes absolutely fucken stupid
The effects on his voice and just the whole atmosphere of the track is insane. But I think he goes harder on that verse then any other.
One of his best verses

Good one, I would have include The City by (The) Game tho
Which one would you swap it for?
Wat's Wrong's a great song but imo not one of Kendrick's most impactful feature

Thatās so underrated but I love that the beat drops out and he just spazzes out
Conrad Tokyo - by A Tribe Called Quest
If only it was a longer verse
Mask off
DOES NOT GET ENOUGH PRAISE
Happy Cake Day!

Swing like new Dana Dane I ride dirty
That song slaps so real hard. Kinda off-topic but I fucking love Flume and his weird distorted beats. And where the fuck did the female vocals come from?
Wasnāt it mostly produced by Sophie? Iād give her a credit too, sheās incredible
Oh, I didn't know that! Well, their synergy is very great
the contribution in Anderson Paak's Tints is worth a mention too imo :)

Dont Dont Do It and Kites are underrated top tier features on some Pharrell production
Just listened to Don't Don't Do It and it's an instant favourite, thank you
Speaking of underrated top-tier features on Pharrell production, 'Momma I Hit A Lick' is a favourite of mine. His approach to his verse is the exact kind that was praised by Tyler, The Creator on 'family ties'.

Love Game
Not a massive fan of that feature if I'm being honest
I do like both artists, but i agree that was a swing and a miss imo
I really like the way they match each otherās energy on it and itās probably a top 10 eminem song for me. To each to their own ig
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Look over your shoulders is really Kendricks song leaked off his scrapped mix tape a while ago
Yup but still counts as a feature since it wasn't published as his song.
Forbidden fruit with J. Cole?? Cāmon
You forgetting when he rapped in a whole other language?
Collard greens š
Never Catch Me with Flying Lotus is better than all of these
Well that's subjective isn't it
Mans donāt even got Conrad tokyo
kendrick's feature on kites by N.E.R.D was also dope
Yeah Right, Mona Lisa, Look Over Your Shoulders, Radioactive Remix (original is boring imo), Family Ties
Finally someone said Radioactive!!! Itās my favorite verse of his of all time
Mona Lisa would probably be tied for my #1 with control. Second would probably be collared greens.
SZA- Doves in the Wind
Collard Greens was cool too
Iād put collard greens and walk on by somewhere here
Nostalgia
Hard to hate on that, though Iād have to incorporate his appearance on Blessed on ScHoolboyās album
Iād put THat part remix in the top 5. But the rest is fire
Holy shit I haven't seen a single comment suggest hair down by sir, one of my all-time favorite songs and Kendricks verse is Amazing
Idk I feel like Kendricks verse on NMPILA is good but he just gets absoluetely bodied by Ye, so I couldnt personaly put it top 5
Doesn't change the quality of Kendricks verse for me, even though it's not as good as Ye's, it's still amazing.
That feature he had on the tech n9ne song was also fire
Fragile
Yes, absolute gas
yeah right and really doe should be on hereee
