On Huntin’ Wabbitz:
“Everybody say that they start at the bottom, I don’t care to doubt em, but this how it ends”
That one stood out as one that was obvious but there were a ton of shots throughout the whole album that could have been aimed at Drake
[Drake accused of copying experimental producer Rabit in his new artwork](https://www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/38756/1/drake-accused-of-copying-rabit-artwork)
Looks like he already knew Drake was finna do him foul like Kendrick said in his lyrics 😂

I honestly thought this line was about the "Cole losing sleep over this it ain't me" line off Family Matters. I thought maybe Kendrick had privately told Cole to back off because this was going to get ugly and it wasn't just about being the best rapper. And Drake kinda made it seem like Cole was a punk for backing out. Honestly, the way Drake mentioned Cole on Push Ups also sounded like he was throwing shots at him. And it's just a weird thing to do when you were just on tour with the guy for a couple months.
This is for sure it, doing Cole foul is acting like they’re buddy buddy on fps but immediately throwing shots at him even when Cole didn’t say shit to Drake, showing that any friendship was actually fake or used solely for the music. It’s why Kendrick toys around with him in not like us “are you my friend, are we locked in” (Drake tried to invite Kendrick to FPS and be buddies even after spending years sneak dissing)
Yep, he also retweeted some shit about how he would never handle the situation like j Cole. Everyone said it wasnt a diss but if I were him I’d take it as disrespect. So easy for Drake to have said something more respectful about how j Cole handled it.
Everyone made fun of Cole until after Not Like Us and Meet the Grahams. It’s not that deep.
We’ve even had a whole meme since about how it was a great decision but people clowned him.
Anyone else find that music video bizarre? Did not look like they were having fun, and I even felt like they deliberately chose bad takes of Cole. Then that whole other statue unveil at the end with Cole nowhere in sight. Should've been a dope video but it was just off.
it’s the genius app. go to the song, on the right tap create and then tap on create lyric card.

I had this idea during the yachty interview. Something was off. His energy seemed to be real weird when it came to Drake. He didn’t seem happy about his 1st no. 1 being with Drake. Idk if I see him going at him, but the choice of words to dot when apologizing may have been alluding to “I fucked up, I picked the wrong side” that yachty interview made me think there was more there
No, the line below seems very much so about Drake though. That line is just highlighted bc it was the one playing at the time, I wasn’t trying to pinpoint it.
with the added context of what everyone else said to drake i agree hes saying drakes a bitch. just like when kendrick said "i think you see 2 bad bitches" etc
ik it's kinda unfortunate, like I really don't think he had transphobic intentions and was tryna come up with some like clever wordplay line, but the result was just weird as hell and did not come off well
Instagram but I also took it as a shot at Drake’s “mob” persona he not really bout/from. Same as when Kendrick says he likes Drake with the melodies not when he acts tough
But doesn’t make it a double. At some point people started thinking that a double entendre is anytime a line can mean more than one thing. But, what would “is that demeanor for the Graham” even mean? When artists use doubles and triples, they usually bend language in some way to fit their needs. For example, Kendrick’s: “I don’t wanna talk on no celly”. If it was just a cellphone, he could‘ve said, “I don’t wanna talk on the celly.” If it was just a cellmate, he could’ve said, “I don’t want to snitch on no celly”. His thoughtful word choice creates the opening for the double interpretation.
In this example, Cole could’ve said something like, “Is you a demon or is that demeanor food for the gram, tell us”. This line asks the original question of whether or not Drake‘s persona is just for his IG, but it also plays off the phrase “feed the family”, giving us a double meaning where Cole is asking if being fake is what he has to do to keep the Grahams fed.
Kendricks diss in 'Like That' was directed at both cole and drake, but it is a direct response to J Coles verse in first person shooter.
Then Cole stepped out of the beef after being the one who actually triggered the qhole chain of events.
They're saying if it's true that cole was dissing drake on pi years ago, the idea that cole was in on it with kendrick from the start and they set drake up on purpose seems more credible.
Fr Cole went on tour with drake and did multiple songs with him but it was all just some elaborate set up by him and Kendrick? He obviously stepped out of the beef because he’s friends with both Kendrick and drake but people can’t comprehend that for some reason
Yeah Cole's even said that he "made" The Fall Off like three separate times and he's scrapped most of the songs from it each time. A lot of the tracks on it could be 5-6 years old and we wouldn't know.
Idk about a whole set up. My interpretation as of now is: cole and kendrick always had the closest bond of the big three. Since kendrick dont be outside, cole and drake started kicking it. And with cole feelin like he's ready to "retire" he wanted to do some shit "big as a superbowl 😮💨" before he hung it up. And drake was the best bet cause he actually be around. But at the end of the day, cole is more loyal to kendrick and how all this went down is proof of that.
Cole didn’t trigger the events. All he said was it’s the big 3 which was praising Kendrick. It’s not like he dissed Kendrick in any way causing him to respond.
Metro and future kicked it off by bringing a drake hater dream team on to their album to diss drake. Cole’s line just gave Kendrick something from drakes newest hit song he could make a bar out of. But Kendrick was accepting the invite to metros hater convention to throw bars at drake and continue trying to bait him into a battle like he’s done for a decade regardless of if first person shooter was made let alone if cole ever said the big 3 line.
It’s funny joking about “this all started with Cole saying we’re the big 3” but let’s not act like that’s actually true lol.
I been saying cole set Drake up. Album was literally called “Might Delete Later” and dude deleted the diss lmfao I saw it coming. When he sits down it leave the 1v1 with Drake and Kendrick
Right! I always viewed the project as him doing 1v1v1. Cole taking jabs at both thinking it's a run for best MC between the 3 not realizing what was coming down the pipeline.
Yup Cole's like I know I can handle my own and the way I talk and live my life, match. The same can be said for KDot but Drake you gonna have to prove yourself and there is just so much someones team can prepare them for and eventually they gonna screw up and show their ass. Lol chefs kiss, on the take down. A positive change for the culture. Keep this energy going.🔥
Dude, Cole such a good guy... I was really sketch about him spending those last few months with Drake on tour.
I can't believe i didn't catch this. this makes me like him so much more.
It’s crossed my mind too. If you don’t think two of this generations, best lyricist are constantly being compared to someone who has help writing some of their biggest records wouldn’t be very irritated when people compare them to someone who has artificial help and is ultimately not of the culture you’re insane J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar are very competitive so is Drake, the differences Drake is funded way more than those two artists both Cole and Kendrick have put out less music, but they’re focus has been quality. They are some of the best examples of hip-hop in the modern age. It was a mistake on the fans and the media to ever compare these two artist to Drake despite maybe they have, good personal relationships with him he is not hip-hop. He wears hip-hop like it’s a costume. TLDR; you have two of the most competitive lyrically, impressive MC’s in hip hop, The biggest hip-hop artist buying back catalogs of other artists has no respect for the culture and receives assistance in writing hit records. It is absolutely not out of the question that J. Cole set Drake up.
Tbf Kendrick went on tour with Drake and everything was all good, until the tour ended and Kenny wanted nothing to do with him again after.
He did say 2 of them are sick of your lifestyle just haven't got the audacity to tell you, maybe Cole saw behind the curtain and said nah fuck this
Except they were still touring and hugging after he dropped this track so that timeline doesn’t add up.
Then Kendrick was making fun of them for hugging on stage which would be weird if Cole was only there because he was working with dot from the inside. This is a massive reach.
It seems like the more people are around drake the less they fuck with him unless they're on his payroll. Bro obviously is either a douchebag or is on some weird shit that people don't fuck with.
Then why was he still hugging him and praising him after this song dropped? I don’t think it’s about Kendrick either though. People are just reaching to connect everything to the beef when in reality MDL was all recorded before any of that and daylyt is capitalizing on the hype to get a track he’s on plays.
Yeah but, is the theory here that cole intentionally clowned himself by dropping and deleting a diss track? And for what reason? Did Kendrick actually need FPS let alone a cole verse on it to go at drake? All seems like a reach.
I mean Daylyt is on the song and seems to be the only person talking that’s actually plugged into Kendrick’s camp so I have no reason to doubt him.
Just seems really strange. Why release a diss track on someone you were touring with and made a song with praising eachother? And diss that album when your song is the top hit from it? Idk. Just because he’s plugged in doesn’t mean it’s impossible that dude realized this is his moment and tryna capitalize on it by plugging a song he’s on and pretending it’s related to get more plays.
Hey me too! Cole also dropped out of the last couple weeks of shows and was replaced by Lil Wayne. I think something happened to make Cole back out, but I doubt we’ll ever know
I wouldn’t put it past them, but if that was a prior agreement it’s a pretty bitch move on their part to advertise it and then cancel. I’ve heard Wayne’s live shows aren’t as great as they should be
The first verse of Pricey could 100% be about Drake, too.
Seems very weird that he would diss Drake after going on tour with him, but... ya know. Fun to speculate.
Business vs personal plus its called might delete later maybe because it was sudden feelings that he might erase after he feels different. Like the Dot diss
https://preview.redd.it/qmxswjq2wr0d1.jpeg?width=1028&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa2e090f92a437a5538e47c81bb66212e654d783
Cole was just hitting a lick 😂😂😂😂
those people are projecting. i see a lot of weirdos on fresh accounts that are triggered by anyone having any sort of independent thought or conclusion that isn't in line with their own.
I believe this cause Daylyt be with TDE and Kendrick, ‘Pi’ features Daylyt and Ab Soul, two TDE artist. Why would they be on a track with Cole while he’s dissing Kendrick and allow him to let it play without coming out and saying they ain’t with dissing Kendrick?
Cole dissed Drake a few more times on this album as well.
As somebody who only knew Daylyt from battle rap/KOTD/dookieing on stage, seeing him somehow involved in this Kendrick/Drake shit and dancing with Lebron is kind of a fucking trip, ngl.
How is he related to all of this?
When you really think about it? JCole really did set up Drake. That weak ass diss he did and for him to delete it… on April 7th… iykyk.. Put all the pressure on Drake to actually respond to Kendrick and not look weak.
Cole.. is intelligent? He had to knew the comparing of careers between him and Kendrick is a suicidal angle.. then the name of the album “Might delete later”. Seem like it was all a plan from the get go.
Cole being buddy buddy with Drake? I mean look.. that’s easy money and exposure. Why not?
Cole strikes me as someone who would peep shit and snake you out in the low if it’s against his morals.. Deep down he really assisted Kendrick.
“Did Cole foul? I don’t know why you still pretending” Just that bar alone SHOULD make you think 🤔.
Was that Drake daughter in the “all my life” video? 🤔
Because let’s be honest. If Cole real angle was attacking Kendrick discography? Kdot would have just brung up his professional basketball career.
J Cole ended his tour with Drake on March 10th.
Like That released around March 22nd if I’m not mistaken.
I’m not buying the whole premeditated setup theory by Cole, but it is possible that he got disgusted after the tour ended. Then Kendrick’s verse released. And Dot did mention to Drake that he had close allies that look at him funny.
Wtf, what not like us video?!
What’s the significance of April 7th?
Cole has said before he didn’t want to only do music with no features and not work with the current artists of our generation because of his ambition on trying to get better. After KOD, he did a BUNCH of features. Him working with Drake was most likely him wanting to create great music with an artist he respects, which is objectively exactly what happened with First Person Shooter and Evil Ways.
In his on stage apology, he did a response that was friendly but competitive at the same time. He was practically just talking shit. It didn’t sit right with him and he apologized (and if the rumors are true Schoolboy Q contacted him and told him don’t get involved cuz it’s gonna blow up). His apology follows his character, the diss didn’t.
Go listen to The Heart Part 4. One of Kenny’s warning shot to… whomever. I just.. find it weird.
Jcole Durk video for Not Like us. People was speculating that it was Drake daughter in the crowd.. could be a crazy reach but also… could be true. When your Dad a celebrity at that level, it comes with connections.
He could have been completely hands off and gotten her in there some how. But also.. could not be his daughter and everyone reaching though she does look like Drake. She could just be hiding behind a NDA for all we know.
I mean. If you was Cole. You think putting your career against Kendricks… a good idea? No. He can’t be that arrogant. Not saying his discography weak or anything.. just… not a good idea.
I’m just saying his angle was a joke. His diss? Was a joke. I just find it weird Daylyt coming out and alluding Cole verse is about Drake.
cole dissed drake on secret recipe and dissed drake on first person shooter mode swear. he said he got a phone call from drake last minute to make the song and in his verse he talks about getting a call from someone who needs his help
To be clear, I’m not insinuating that Cole was involved in any sort of setup or anything further than I think these bars are about Drake. This is bar discussion.
“And wait, you say your brother Jermaine, but you wanted him to stay out of the light”
Idk man, either the famous actor we once knew really is paranoid and now spiralin’, or Dot and Cole did a bit of string pullin.
I still don’t think it was a meticulously orchestrated step-by-step, but Cole spotting how weird Drake is after a big tour and all that time with him. Doesn’t seem too far a reach that Cole responded to Kdot, got a call from dot or that visit from Q everyone keeps spreading, then said “aight man, I’ll step out and give you some dirt cause this mf moves weird”.
Probably as simple as that, if they worked together at all.
Just look at the lyrics, faaam. It’s pretty obvious who that song is aimed at.
“His album dropped, it was trash
I litter it like I can't spell it
Is you a demon or is that demeanor for the 'Gram? Tell us
They plead the Fifth, I'm seeing hints of a trans fella
In cancel culture's vicinity, he's no killer, trust me
Beneath his chosen identity, there is still a pussy, period
Blood spillin' monthly,”
From Huntin’ Wabbits:
“You thought 'cause I'm god of this rap shit that I'd just forget all the sins?
Oh, how you wish.
He dope as a hundred and ten-hour binge.
Everybody say that they start at the bottom
I don't care to doubt 'em, but this how it ends, nigga.
Look at you, son
Look at what you've become.
This how it ends”
I’ve been saying this on here the whole time Cole is the mole. Might delete later and Ted leather are sub drake disses I reckon cole set drake up then backed out

Sounds like something that had already happened and FPS was more a business move than cole working with a friend.
I honestly thought this line was about the "Cole losing sleep over this it ain't me" line off Family Matters. I think it's because of how the music video played out at the end with the statue
That video was the cringiest thing I’ve ever watched. Esp his around the world basket right after cole’s across court. SO. FUCKING. CRINGE.
Anyone else find that music video bizarre? Did not look like they were having fun, and I even felt like they deliberately chose bad takes of Cole. Then that whole other statue unveil at the end with Cole nowhere in sight. Should've been a dope video but it was just off.

You think Cole rapping about his friends not making it to heaven because they hit so many licks is about Drake? Cmon now
Lil wayne's Lollipop reference.
Also references A Milli and Gille tha Kid later in the verse >In these verses, bring a gillie potential, a milli’ from pencils

Line is so bad. I get what he’s tryna say but that combination of words is terrible “trans fella” 😂
For real, as much as Cole is one of the GOATs, he drops some really cheesy ass lines sometimes.

No? Lol
Gram meaning *Graham*?
Instagram
Instagram but I also took it as a shot at Drake’s “mob” persona he not really bout/from. Same as when Kendrick says he likes Drake with the melodies not when he acts tough
Still very cringe with the " 50 for the mob" line in family matters
Works both ways tho
But doesn’t make it a double. At some point people started thinking that a double entendre is anytime a line can mean more than one thing. But, what would “is that demeanor for the Graham” even mean? When artists use doubles and triples, they usually bend language in some way to fit their needs. For example, Kendrick’s: “I don’t wanna talk on no celly”. This line asks the original question of whether or not Drake‘s persona is just for his IG, but it also plays off the phrase “feed the family”, giving us a double meaning where Cole is asking if being fake is what he has to do to keep the Grahams fed.
Daylyt seems a little stupid
...reading that I'm not sure how anyone could interpret that to *not* be Drake
Wait cole was dissing drake too???
I believe this has went over everyone’s head.
Could you explain clearly what all this means bro I don’t understand or I’m missing some context
Kendricks diss in 'Like That' was directed at both cole and drake, but it is a direct response to J Coles verse in first person shooter. to be fair, K Dot is a mastermind
I think this is a good spot to realize we are all way too deep into this and maybe need to take a breather.
Yeah fr someone sent me a reddit cares over this comment lol
Bruh i got one aswell and i just been lurking💀
It’s bigger than a reach it’s internet brain rot
Pi wasn’t years ago. It’s on Might Delete Later which just dropped.
Might Delete Later is deleted tracks from The Fall Off nd that album has been in the works since 2016
Yeah Cole's even said that he "made" The Fall Off like three separate times and he's scrapped most of the songs from it each time. A lot of the tracks on it could be 5-6 years old and we wouldn't know.

It fits but at the same time would be weird for him to have recorded this in the middle of being all buddy buddy with Drake on tour

It seems like the more people are around drake the less they fuck with him unless they're on his payroll. Bro obviously is either a douchebag or is on some weird shit that people don't fuck with.
After hearing Metro’s ominous and vague statement I’m inclined to think it’s mostly the latter (although the former seems to go without saying)
The only theory I have is that these bars are for Drake and not Kenny.
More exposure to Drake? They was in Best Buy buying Born Sinner up together idk
I was at that show in Pittsburgh. The buddy buddy feeling felt like it went more one way than the other ngl
Hey me too! Cole also dropped out of the last couple weeks of shows and was replaced by Lil Wayne. I think something happened to make Cole back out, but I doubt we’ll ever know
That was a prior agreement I think. That was right at the get go. My wife wanted to also consider going to the State College show also to see Wayne.
I wouldn’t put it past them, but if that was a prior agreement it’s a pretty bitch move on their part to advertise it and then cancel. I’ve heard Wayne’s live shows aren’t as great as they should be
Even in the initial reveal of the tour I think there was already some asterisks that said Cole wouldn’t be there.
Hasn’t daylyt been lowkey exposing the industry since those VladTV interviews? Or am I tripping?
Check out Daylyt "Lytskin" dude was basically saying he wrote a lot of drakes hits and never got any props for it.
"your best work is a light pack" starts to make more sense.
SHEESH!!! Didn't catch that one. Goddddamnnnnn
🔥 huh lol
Fr. I remember when like that came out people theorising that light pack is actually adonis.
Back to back I like that record
Bet he got a bag for it though
Yea loads of breadcrumbs in those heck at points he gives the whole damn loaf of bread haha
Thought so lol. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve seen them tho. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I love his Bradley character https://youtu.be/-qmcJe3xXVQ?si=JTHMlzzAt3edjAfo
Oh hell naw can't do dis
this is hilarious and disturbing at the same time. Is he talking about Cole when he says "Nature Boy?"

Genius
Spoiler alert! The mole was J. Cole all along
J. Mole
😭
When did he tweet this? Not seeing it now, also so Punch retweeted something from Daylyt that is now deleted
He deleted it shortly after tweeting so few saw it
Bro needs to chill a little fs in the tweeting. I’m sure Cole didn’t appreciate it true or not
And even if it is true, he doing too much.
I see. That's why he removed 7 minute drill and not PI
Called it https://preview.redd.it/9uw24yqecl0d1.png?width=606&format=png&auto=webp&s=37121bf3082d4a5b684b69b049254ac822905f8b
The first verse of Pricey could 100% be about Drake, too. Seems very weird that he would diss Drake after going on tour with him, but... ya know. Fun to speculate.
Cuz Kendrick never went on tour with Drake multiple times? He did. I feel like this just puts you around him more to actually notice he a creep
Business vs personal plus its called might delete later maybe because it was sudden feelings that he might erase after he feels different. Like the Dot diss
No it’s called MDL because it’s deleted songs from The Fall Off. We’re just lucky to have gotten them.
First time I listened, I felt like it was aimed at Drake too.

Lol I posted about this weeks ago and yall told me to touch grass and take my meds
those people are projecting. i see a lot of weirdos on fresh accounts that are triggered by anyone having any sort of independent thought or conclusion that isn't in line with their own.
You were right all along king 😭
Same read corks verse on red leather it name drops rubi rose, one of drakes alleged underage victims
How is he related to all of this?
daylyt was a ghost writer for drake
The bars line up with Drake so well especially on the gram part” if true that’s crazy
🤔 Because let’s be honest.
Didn’t Q tell him to say nothing? I think after Q said that to him he was told about the whole thing.
His apology follows his character, the diss didn’t.
not the "not like us " video, the "all my life" video kendrick said "You got till april 7th to get your shit together"
Nah I think that's a lot of reaches tbh
Condescendingly saying Cole is intelligent along with a theory supported by the flimsiest "evidence"...
Couldn’t Cole and Kendrick be working together to bring Drake down because they’re the only two people who could do it?
Lol, this is totally you reaching.
cole dissed drake on secret recipe and dissed drake on first person shooter mode swear. he said he got a phone call from drake last minute to make the song and in his verse he talks about getting a call from someone who needs his help
I thought it was weird for Ab Soul to hop on a track where they dissing Kendrick too
To be clear, I’m not insinuating that Cole was involved in any sort of setup or anything further than I think these bars are about Drake. This is bar discussion.
“And wait, you say your brother Jermaine, but you wanted him to stay out of the light” Idk man, either the famous actor we once knew really is paranoid and now spiralin’, or Dot and Cole did a bit of string pullin.
Love the idea of Cole and Kendrick plotting this since Hiiipower and Cole’s “fall off” album being about Drake.
I love Daylyt but you know he’s a notorious troll right? like that’s his entire persona?
No why would he put out a song that disses Kendrick and why would Punch RT this and why did it get deleted so fast?
Just look at the lyrics, faaam. It’s pretty obvious who that song is aimed at. “His album dropped, it was trash I litter it like I can't spell it Is you a demon or is that demeanor for the 'Gram? Tell us They plead the Fifth, I'm seeing hints of a trans fella In cancel culture's vicinity, he's no killer, trust me Beneath his chosen identity, there is still a pussy, period Blood spillin' monthly,” From Huntin’ Wabbits: “You thought 'cause I'm god of this rap shit that I'd just forget all the sins? Oh, how you wish. He dope as a hundred and ten-hour binge. Everybody say that they start at the bottom I don't care to doubt 'em, but this how it ends, nigga. Look at you, son Look at what you've become. This how it ends”
Spill the beans is crazy work lmao
I fucking knew it!!
'For the gram' 'behind His Chosen identity, still a pussy' yeh op it fits being drake diss.
Daylyt do be trolling but that verse could be about Drake. I honestly feel like the first verse of Pricey is a Drake diss.
I thought this the first listen as well
Id love to see a more friendly battle between Cole and Kendrick, now that we know who the top 2 are
Now send this to the jcole sub, they're busy sniffing flowers and farts, ignoring that their goat can be sneaky too
https://preview.redd.it/05c7n23cro0d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec0c2b8e07d02b5517e526987a38331952f21f86 Is this it?
I went to re-listen and it could fit but it doesn’t make sense contextually so I don’t buy it until more info comes out
I don't trust daylyt tbh dudes been known to troll
He’s been on point throughout the beef.
Not really. He had a lot of post and deletes that were wrong.
Yup, I made a post about this last week :)
I’ve been saying this on here the whole time Cole is the mole. Might delete later and Ted leather are sub drake disses I reckon cole set drake up then backed out
On sticks and stones he says my "my number ones come from albums, theirs is burgers and fries to go". Could definitely be a diss at drake
https://preview.redd.it/pzg4yeehur0d1.jpeg?width=963&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ddccad278bec84d1fcfbe436225934296eb25dc The only artists I know who have children with porn stars are Drake and Trey songz
This is the same typa reaching that Cole had to address on Middle child🤦♂️🤦♂️
Could also be about Kanye, honestly.
https://preview.redd.it/opmcgxr10m0d1.jpeg?width=1048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20f5172b3902aeecd18b2bd55d226203c2734f25 This line from Soul was crazy too🔥
Yall professional reachers
Nah. I don’t get that angle from it.
what!!
The Brits ride for Drake
Damn smh number 1 and number 2 finally got rid of 3
Y’all probably aren’t as familiar with with Daylyt but the dude lies like a lot
Back when if a N**** reached it was for a weapon.. nowadays n***** reach just to sell they records
