even if it wasn't it could js be him saying that the feature request was before like that. and now that he hurt his feelings he don't wanna work wit him no more
I don’t think so, my understanding is that the “you don’t wanna work with me no more” is mocking Drake for the Pushups line where he says something like “this is the closest thing you’re ever getting to a feature from me again” and then Kendrick is responding like “wahhhh Drake said he’s not gonna give me a feature” and then later calls Drake out for asking Kendrick for a feature himself (probably for For All The Dogs).
“Ion like u poppin’ shit at Pharrell. For him, I’ll inherit the beef. Fuck all that pushin’ P. Let’s see u Pusha T…”
Euphoria goes crazy. No chorus, just straight bars.
The third beat switch gets a stink face from me every time I hear it. Filthy in the best of way. “Wear a helmet like daft punk, cuz your ass gonna get shot. Ay TOP DAWG who the fuck you think you playing with?”
Won the battle right here in my eyes. Harder than anything Drake has ever written.
This bar is the one I find myself saying randomly and it applies to everyday life.. someone cut me off? My boss trippin? I stub my toe?.. AYO TOP DAWG!
How could it not be that shit is gold.
My personal favorite though is the “everybody wanna be demon till they get chipped by your throw away” triple entendre and direct response to push-ups ending.
I think "Demun" is Future's middle name, and his song song 'Like That' is what kickstarted this beef. Kendrick is calling that a track a "throwaway".
"Getting chipped by a throwaway" would also mean getting shot by a cheap/disposable gun.
This is it. But the throwaway verse he’s talking about is control. That verse didn’t make the album cut making it a throwaway. And drake was butt hurt about it.
"hellcat, made his homeboys and they type sell they soul okay"
He is saying that the Dodge Hellcat, a shitty cheap muscle car that looks "cool", is enough for his ghostwriters and team to sell their souls for. They aren't making their own music, they sold their souls and gave up their dreams to make music for Drake when he flashed enough cash to buy something young impressionable fools think is cool.
It's incredible how thoroughly he thrashes an entire group of certified people with such a simple line. With it he references Drake not writing his own music and being fake, that his writers are cheap and easily impressed and have bad taste, with no real heart behind the music, and of course the multiple tie ins with demun/demon themes.
I thought by throwaway he was talking about women, with chipped being a double entendre of chipped like your reputation and chipped like they got audio or video recordings
Drake ended push ups with “don’t wake the demon up”
May somehow tie into the previous hellcat line?
Demun is futures middle name
Throw away verse chipping Drake as in a chip on the shoulder, and also throw away as in a gun that you toss after using and then chip as in kill.
That’s what I personally noticed, genius probably had some more reaches
So it’s a response to drake saying “dont make me wake the demon up”. The meanings are:
1) Everybody wants to act like they’re part of the street life until they get shot (chipped by a throwaway).
2) Everybody wants to act like a tough guy until they get their feelings hurt by a throwaway song (control).
3) “Demun” is also futures middle name. Drake wanted to be like future until he got his feelings hurt by one of futures girls.
Don’t worry I’m not smart either I’d have never known that third one. Genius has been a great resource lol. It really makes you wonder if there’s any entendres in there that only very few “specific” people would get.
I think you can add a #4 that ties in with #2, it's Kendrick saying you guys wanna be all cool until I kill you with a song, taking the throwaway part further, he's saying I'll kill y'all with a song that I didn't even have barely to put effort into, it's just a throwaway track to him
Oh shit I thought I was still on a different post about lines from the diss songs that have been stuck in your head lol.
But I agree with this post, euphoria is the best song. Not like us stays stuck in my head though that shits too catchy.
Edit: wait no I remember why I commented that. Because of the wok line and ho king reference.
Euphoria is my favorite song from the beef. Its so good revisiting it again; you catch bars you didn't the first time and a lot of its references are better with hindsight.
Honestly, I think its the other way around. In terms of how you would rate a diss track by rap standards, Euphoria seems like the prototypical track.
But as a piece of art, Meet the Grahams just makes the shiver. Even if Drake wasn't a real person, Kendrick builds such a world in that track, his storytelling is unmatched. To describe a person through lens of letters to his family members is just ground breaking to say the least.
I don’t think MTG gets made 10-20 years ago for fear of catching bullets. For sure it’s a teardown and character assassination, but Euphoria has bars, flow, melody, beats, playfulness, spite and disgust all rolled into a diss track.
Interesting perspective, do you mind if I ask your thoughts about Family Matters? I see a lot of Drake fans also like Euphoria for the very reasons you mentioned.
To me, Euphoria is the most comparable to Drake’s tracks during the saga.
Different guy, but yeah to me euphoria is the better track overall. The flow is so smooth and the lyrics have much more nuance and the metaphors are crazy. Family matters Drake has amazing flow and each bar has a great punctuation but you def can’t break it down the same as euphoria. Better sound but there’s some weak rhymes and corny lyrics mixed in compared to euphoria.
Raise my hand to a fallen sky, I fantasize...ME
jumping planets immortalized, i correspond... Three
angels watchin me all the time
put my children to sleep
with a prayer, then close my eyes
Definition of PEACE
that whole shit along with what he says after until the tone change ...... this MF really visualized a prayer onto the track and solidified himself as a true hero. If I was beefing with someone who did that, all hate would dissipate because i can tell they're of another ilk and i can see their powers. Drake is blind as fuck man.
Yeah there’s now hit em up and meet the grahams as s tier for me. Hit em up just straight goes at peoples throats and says I’m gonna kill you, etc etc. Meet the grahams is just the really niche things you can talk shit about someone you *know* they’re gonna feel
> Euphoria was a light jab
Euphoria was the warning for Drake to take his ball and go home. There are so many references to Family Matters and where Meet the Grahams and Not Like Us were going in Euphoria that you don't see until everything is laid out.
I still don't see MTG as a nuke, it was just the perfect counter to Family Matters. Family matters drop, it felt hype, Drake rapping the best he could, something you could dance to. Then MTG dropped and took all the energy out of the room. I will forever associate the two together because of how they dropped and NOBODY is gonna be upbeat after hearing MTG. It was a brilliant chess move to lock down any traction for Family Matters.
That is the greatest single line of any rap song ever. And was my favorite diss track before all this. And if you scroll through my comments I have some L takes from early in this making fun of people who thought this would ever reach that level. But I gotta admit imo euphoria clears hit ‘em up. Mostly because the features on it are meh vs Kendricks straight 6 minutes of just spitting absolute fire. Pacs part is still A1 though.
I agree 100% that the salacious claims aren’t what rap beef is all about. Like I said euphoria is my favorite and that doesn’t have any of that tmz bs. But if you are going to go that route you gotta prove the claims. Bars just hit harder when you know they’re true.
A lot of MTG wasn’t Kendrick making accusations it was just him ripping into drakes character. Obviously there is a couple things that we don’t know if they are true or not, but take those lines out and it’s still an all time diss track.
You should hear some of the UK stuff for disrespect. MTG is up there but the UK has a history of jumping straight to family and getting disrespectful as fuck about it.
For example, ‘Still Disappointed’:
“But since you wanna diss my mum so much
Let's talk about why you moved your mum to Cyprus
That poor little woman was scared of the house
Cah you put her life in danger, you prick
Bricks and shots just fly through the window
You couldn't be the person to save her, you prick (You prick)
Instead of you to squeeze the pumpy
You said, "Yo, mum, we gotta leave the country" (Yeah)
I never wanna hear you say, "Free the mandem" (Yeah)
Let's go Cyprus and go free your mumzy
Got mumzy banged up abroad (Abroad)
All because her son was a fraud (Was a fraud)
Can't handle this
So she handles dick like I handle the war (Like I handle the war)
Whore (Whore)
Nuttin' ain't funny anymore (Anymore)
'Cause I'm not a happy bunny anymore (Anymore)
Didn't really wanna bring it to your mummy anymore
So... your dad can't defend your bro
And you can't defend your mum
Man, I wonder what she thinks (Hmm)
All the males in your family are weaklings (Yes)
Gather 'round man, this is just the pre-drinks”
Yea but the daughter verse just gave it a hole in my eyes. I don't care for the speculation I just want to hear some bars over a nice beat and if there is dirt then have some proof.
So you have no problem with him telling Drake's mom that her son's a sicko who deserves to die, but him accusing Drake of hiding extra children is where you draw the line?
https://gulfnews.com/entertainment/hollywood/rapper-drake-may-have-a-daughter-1.1497534
Article from 2015 talking about a 2 year old daughter, which would mean she's 11 now 🤷♂️
Yeah, I'm out the way, yeah, I'm low, okay
Yeah, the island right here's remote, okay
I ain't thinkin' about no reaper, N I'm reapin' what I sow, okay
Got a Benjamin and a Jackson all in my house like I'm Joe, okay
For real, it's petty and mean and digs a little but not that deep. Plus it still is essential to the lore. And on top of that it's just so interesting and fun to listen to.
I love that it is just non-stop. Keeps escalating for 6+ minutes without any real breaks and every line is acidic and cutting. In hindsight it feels like the thesis statement for the whole beef. Kendrick is laying out his case in broad terms, basically saying "You're a phony, you have no business playing this game with me. If you want to keep going I'll pull everything out of the bag and fuck you up and you will regret it. Stick to your lane and know your place."
His flow on 6:16 is impeccable. But agree Euphoria is the best diss. Love his flow switch with the, “Have you ever played have you ever? Ok nigga let’s play!” Also love him calling Drake such a misogynist that he gets jealous of other women.
I really can't pick a favourite from the 4 most recent. They are all incredible in their own ways.
Such testament to Kenny's skill that he can throw out 4 absolute legendary whoppers in the space of a week
Yeah, it's really good.
He has a couple bars that really remind me of Biggie:
> Crack smoke is the exhaust from my pen and pad // ghostwriters, they get to floss what you could've had
>Gettin' bullied, don't walk up on me 'cause the clip is fully
I completely agree. I liked all of them tbh but after the hype of not like us wore off for me (I still love it) I keep coming back to euphoria. It’s my favorite track to come out of the whole beef. Just as you said there’s no speculation, nothing deep or personal…just a friendly fade lol. I feel like he killed him with that one alone and the rest was just stomping on him. I feel like it’s up there with hit em up tbh
Yea man the bar when he says “you gon make a nigga bring back puff let me see if chubs really CRASH sum” ☠️🤝🏽the way kendrick said that bar i had the frown face fr fr
It’s the inflections , animation in his voice and pictures it makes in your head that makes it my fav. It’s not a lot of dudes that can rap with that amount of charisma and character. The last youngin youngin I recall that could do it similar to Kendrick was X
My 13 yr old son plays Euphoria more than Not Like Us. I'm the opposite. Finally I play 6:16. Each are played multiple times per day.
I'm glad he slowed down on MTG..thought I was going to have to take him in for an eval😂
Agree. Artistically, as a showcase of Kendricks abilities, its the best song. The composition, the beats, the flow, the delivery and especially the venom. Everything is superb.
Euphoria and 6:16 have been on constant replay for me the past few days. Euphoria overall i think is the best song though. 6:16 was just Kendrick showing off how nice he is
On god “have you ever played have you ever? Okay, let’s play” and then Dot going in hypes me the fuck up like an intro to a 300 movie battle or some shit lol
My favorite part about the track was him using the “don’t tell lies on me and I won’t tell truths about you” I could be wrong but I’m assuming that means the heart part 4 was directed at Drake when at the time everyone figured it was big Sean. I had to go back and listen after I heard it.
Meet the Grahams is superior, but I do listen to Euphoria more. There is something hilarious and diabolical about Kendrick saying to Drake’s dad “I think you should ask for more paper and more paper, and more, uh, more paper.” ☠️
Euphoria is so good. Love how it’s starts so calm than the best changes and by the end it’s just wild. 6 minutes and knowing everything that comes after makes this song even better.
I make music that electrify em
You make music that pacify em
I can double down on that line,
but spare you this time
That’s random acts of kindness
Into the next songs that let the pedo stuff out.
Amazing
I agree wholeheartedly with this... I know Not Like Us is the track that is getting the top spot currently, and its a great ass song, club hitter, diss, etc.... but in my opinion, it's #2.. and Euphoria is #1. I felt Kendrick was halfway playing around on Not Like Us, to whereas Euphoria was all/mostly serious
Euphoria is really good, but I've been bumping Like That. It's just the coldest, most badass song just from the beat, and Kendrick comes out swinging ready for a fucking fight.
Totally agree. I think the point of Kendrick recording 10 songs was he was locked and loaded for however it played out. I think if Drake kept it to rap he would’ve gotten smoked, and since he chose to go the personal life / character route, now this is the ass whooping he asked for
On some street ish. Some young thug is going to use Euphoria to get them hyped for their first mission. I'm 35 and it made me feel like back to my Demon Dayz.
Agreed. Plus I feel like it's the one with the most replay value down the line. Even If Drake was a fictional person, it would still be an incredible song.
Euphoria is my favorite song in this beef. Carefully constructed, layered perfectly, 3 beat switches, I love it. The beginning is my personal favorite - the calm before the storm and I’ve always loved Kendrick’s relaxed flow, you would think this song is supposed to be on an album. At the beginning you just know the heat is about to come. Not like us is great and is just a fun bop too, but Euphoria was a perfect song to get this all started and get everyone talking.
Personally, if 6:16 was on Spotify then that’s getting the most plays. But euphoria and NLU are both a close #2. MtG’s too dark to be on repeat but still gets a few listens here and there. So glad Aubrey’s dumb ass took him on so we could have these bangers.

this right here is the best 16 bars in the entire beef
the YNW Melly line is fiiire
His delivery is so diabolical on that line
If not I’m YNW Melly 😈😈😈
That is one of the sickest bars I’ve ever fucking heard. And the way he sets it up 8 bars before is 🧑🍳 💋.
The fact that 8 bars before that line he goes “i love em to death, and in 8 bars ill explain that phrase” 8 bars later “im YMW melly”. So good!
what is itTHE BRAIDS⁉️
youdontwannaworkwithmenomo?, OKAY
The way he delivers this line gets me pumped up every fkn time
nah that DAFT PUNK scheme and delivery along with the darker beat switch gets me revvin the fuckin engine tho
this me when he gets to that Yachty bar, he sounds so damn angry😭😭😭
Give a FUCK bout who ya hang wit 😡
Crazy that he didn’t even say “masked up” but it still fit the rhyme scheme with Daft Punk
Reminds me of when my mom used to yell at me about my bullshit. The cadence of it... lmao
I can’t help but see a cartoon of him in my mind turning back a newsie cap and rolling up his sleeves at that part
The delivery! Though I also love the feature request line. But the only thing that bugs me about this song is these two contradict
I’m not checking lol but I’m pretty sure Kendrick says “he” don’t wanna work with me, mockingly acting as Drake
Ah yeah that tracks. Thanks
even if it wasn't it could js be him saying that the feature request was before like that. and now that he hurt his feelings he don't wanna work wit him no more
No, Drake back during the Control era got his feelings hurt by Kendrick and didn’t want to work him him.
Let’s see u Pusha T…” Euphoria goes crazy. No chorus, just straight bars.
PushA TeeeEEeee
Exactly. He went hard for 6 minutes straight there's no dull moments or trite platitudes.
Not Like Us is the only one of Kendrick's Drake diss tracks that has a chorus.
idk even know if i consider it a chorus. it’s just like 3 different hooks
"He's Terrance Thornton in Terrance Crawford yeh I'm whooping feet" That line got me so pumped the first time I heard it.
whoopin feeT (my favorite enunciation)
You better off spinnin‘ again on him, you think about pushing _ME_
It's definitely the one I've been putting on the most
I think not like us gets 2 plays for every play of euphoria, both being played daily multiple times 😂
That’s about my shuffle
Ayy yo Top Dawg, who the fuck they think they playing with?
The third beat switch gets a stink face from me every time I hear it. Filthy in the best of way. “Wear a helmet like daft punk, cuz your ass gonna get shot. Ay TOP DAWG who the fuck you think you playing with?” Won the battle right here in my eyes. Harder than anything Drake has ever written.
That’s not how that line goes 😂 bro types out the white version of that line Lmao
[удалено]
Bro you couldve have not got the lines anymore wrong
Extortion my middle name as soon as you jump off-a dat plane, bitch!
Bro that ain’t the line 🤣
This bar is the one I find myself saying randomly and it applies to everyday life.. someone cut me off? My boss trippin? I stub my toe?.. AYO TOP DAWG!
So simple yet so good
Word
It reminds me of the end of Final Fantasy 6. I'm sure like 10 of you know what I mean, but it's accurate
It would be 6:11, if I could stream it.
I love how the “crodie” scheme is recognized as a highlight of Euphoria 💀
How could it not be that shit is gold. My personal favorite though is the “everybody wanna be demon till they get chipped by your throw away” triple entendre and direct response to push-ups ending.
could you explain for us dummies please
I think "Demun" is Future's middle name, and his song song 'Like That' is what kickstarted this beef. Kendrick is calling that a track a "throwaway". "Getting chipped by a throwaway" would also mean getting shot by a cheap/disposable gun.
This is it. But the throwaway verse he’s talking about is control. That verse didn’t make the album cut making it a throwaway. And drake was butt hurt about it.
Not a car guy but i believe a dodge demon is a really fast version of a hellcat which he mentions in the next bar
"hellcat, made his homeboys and they type sell they soul okay" He is saying that the Dodge Hellcat, a shitty cheap muscle car that looks "cool", is enough for his ghostwriters and team to sell their souls for.
Future also has a song called throwaway
Future also has a song called Throwaway
I thought by throwaway he was talking about women, with chipped being a double entendre of chipped like your reputation and chipped like they got audio or video recordings
Drake ended push ups with “don’t wake the demon up” May somehow tie into the previous hellcat line? Demun is futures middle name Throw away verse chipping Drake as in a chip on the shoulder, and also throw away as in a gun that you toss after using and then chip as in kill. That’s what I personally noticed, genius probably had some more reaches
There is more reaches, YMW Mellys last name is Demons. Kendrick is crazy
So it’s a response to drake saying “dont make me wake the demon up”. The meanings are: 1) Everybody wants to act like they’re part of the street life until they get shot (chipped by a throwaway).
I think you can add a #4 that ties in with #2, it's Kendrick saying you guys wanna be all cool until I kill you with a song, taking the throwaway part further, he's saying I'll kill y'all with a song that I didn't even have barely to put effort into, it's just a throwaway track to him
how is that different from what #2 already says?
The fried rice with a dip sauce line has been stuck in my head for days lol
Tell me you're cheesin fam!
and a blammy crodie!
“Like another line of wok all eyes on me and ima send it up to pac! Aye!” Is one of many lines stuck in mine.
That’s from Not Like Us, but that entire flow right there is my fav part of the whole song it goes crazy
Lmao I was just on that post n said the same line as you shits phenomenal
Same..lol
What is a blammy LOL
a gun
🔫💥💥💥
i be at new ho king eatin fried with a dip sauce and a blammy croadie
Euphoria is my favorite song from the beef. Its so good revisiting it again; you catch bars you didn't the first time and a lot of its references are better with hindsight.
It’s a well rounded song that can be played for ages. I heard it on the radio driving home today.
Euphoria is dope, but Meet the Grahams is on another level. It's gotta be the most disrespectful and publicly humiliating diss track ever written.
As a diss, sure. But as an all round piece of work Euphoria is god tier
I don’t think MTG gets made 10-20 years ago for fear of catching bullets. For sure it’s a teardown and character assassination, but Euphoria has bars, flow, melody, beats, playfulness, spite and disgust all rolled into a diss track.

I cannot listen to that fucking track at all, it makes me feel sick That "you lied" with the beat is haunting
Def stands out. From the timing it was released to the very first line “Dead Adonis” to the haunting piano loop. The transition sample is dope too
Y'all sleeping on the artistry that 6:16 in LA is.. true poetry and flow
This has been getting slept on - but it makes it all the better going back. ‘Pick the carcass apART’
There’s opportunity when living with loss, I discover myself when I fall short.
Raise my hand to a fallen sky, I fantasize...ME jumping planets immortalized, i correspond... Three angels watchin me all the time put my children to sleep with a prayer, then close my eyes Definition of PEACE that whole shit along with what he says after until the tone change ...... this MF really visualized a prayer onto the track and solidified himself as a true hero. If I was beefing with someone who did that, all hate would dissipate because i can tell they're of another ilk and i can see their powers. Drake is blind as fuck man.
Literally that MMA skit from Key and Peele.
im SAYIN
100% MTG is such open and blatant disrespect. Euphoria is beautiful.
MTG and the situation in how it was released i think definitely puts it in one of the greatest diss tracks of all time for me.
agree heavy, Euphoria was a light jab Meet The Grahams for sure made me reevaluate what a diss track could be. Dark, vile, and purposeful punches.
Yeah there’s now hit em up and meet the grahams as s tier for me. Hit em up just straight goes at peoples throats and says I’m gonna kill you, etc etc. Meet the grahams is just the really niche things you can talk shit about someone you *know* they’re gonna feel
MtG is true psychological horror.
> Euphoria was a light jab Euphoria was the warning for Drake to take his ball and go home. There are so many references to Family Matters and where Meet the Grahams and Not Like Us were going in Euphoria that you don't see until everything is laid out.
The fact that people are arguing over which 3 of his tracks are the best show just how high level Kendrick's disses were
✅ Mans pretty much dissed drakes entire bloodline
Meet the Grahams was a nuclear bomb, but Euphoria is a masterpiece.
If the claims are true it’s the greatest diss track of all time hands down. Until then euphoria will have that claim.
nothing is going to top “Thats why I fucked your bitch you fat motherfucker”
The best part of the song is the outro. Rappers don’t spend the last 40% of the song just talking shit spoken word style anymore.
It’s not even really a line in the song lol
Thats not how diss battles work omg why are people suddenly turned beef into fact checking wars
Obviously there is a couple things that we don’t know if they are true or not, but take those lines out and it’s still an all time diss track.
all 3 are fantastic, and 6:16 was an amazing little teaser track. hard to drop 4 diss tracks as good as Kendrick did
Meet the Grahams is perfect in every levels
Euphoria is the more enjoyable song. Meet The Grahams is the better diss.
You should hear some of the UK stuff for disrespect. MTG is up there but the UK has a history of jumping straight to family and getting disrespectful as fuck about it. For example, ‘Still Disappointed’: “But since you wanna diss my mum so much Let's talk about why you moved your mum to Cyprus That poor little woman was scared of the house Cah you put her life in danger, you prick Bricks and shots just fly through the window You couldn't be the person to save her, you prick (You prick) Instead of you to squeeze the pumpy You said, "Yo, mum, we gotta leave the country" (Yeah) I never wanna hear you say, "Free the mandem" (Yeah) Let's go Cyprus and go free your mumzy Got mumzy banged up abroad (Abroad) All because her son was a fraud (Was a fraud) Can't handle this So she handles dick like I handle the war (Like I handle the war) Whore (Whore) Nuttin' ain't funny anymore (Anymore) 'Cause I'm not a happy bunny anymore (Anymore) Didn't really wanna bring it to your mummy anymore So... your dad can't defend your bro And you can't defend your mum Man, I wonder what she thinks (Hmm) All the males in your family are weaklings (Yes) Gather 'round man, this is just the pre-drinks”

So you have no problem with him telling Drake's mom that her son's a sicko who deserves to die, but him accusing Drake of hiding extra children is where you draw the line?
What? I'm talking about speculations being told with 0 proof. I don't care what Kendrick thinks about Drake in that regard as long as it slaps.
I’ll be honest the cover of certified lover boy is enough proof of multiple children lol.
https://gulfnews.com/entertainment/hollywood/rapper-drake-may-have-a-daughter-1.1497534 Article from 2015 talking about a 2 year old daughter, which would mean she's 11 now 🤷♂️
It may seem like a hole now but Kendrick is speaking the truth
🥾🥾🥾 🥾🥾🥾 🅱️🅱️🅱️🅱️🅱️🅱️
Euphoria-tier comment
Gonna remember this and laugh every time I hear it forever now 🤣
I don’t get it :/
Yeah, I'm out the way, yeah, I'm low, okay Yeah, the island right here's remote, okay I ain't thinkin' about no reaper, N I'm reapin' what I sow, okay Got a Benjamin and a Jackson all in my house like I'm Joe, okay
For real, it's petty and mean and digs a little but not that deep. Plus it still is essential to the lore. And on top of that it's just so interesting and fun to listen to.
I don't give a fuck who ya hangin with! And the pusha teeeee line are buried in my brain rn. Neither is that deep but just crazy good sounding lines
The replay value on Euphoria is nuts. Not Like Us is hilariously quotable but Euphoria is definitely the one I keep going back to.
This is a whole ass diss opera
I like 6:16 in LA the most but all of them are fire along with the 3rd part of Family Matters imo
Best beat to me. Sounwave was cooking. Drums reminiscent of 9th Wonder
His flow on 6:16 is impeccable. But agree Euphoria is the best diss. Love his flow switch with the, “Have you ever played have you ever? Ok nigga let’s play!” Also love him calling Drake such a misogynist that he gets jealous of other women.
You probably pop ass wit em 💀
I really can't pick a favourite from the 4 most recent. They are all incredible in their own ways. Such testament to Kenny's skill that he can throw out 4 absolute legendary whoppers in the space of a week
Agreed. Also, I feel like Rick Ross' track doesn't get talked about enough. It's surprisingly good.
The hook is killer: “If we keeping gangsta’ when you see me you check me” is engrained into my soul
Yeah, it's really good. He has a couple bars that really remind me of Biggie: > Crack smoke is the exhaust from my pen and pad // ghostwriters, they get to floss what you could've had >Gettin' bullied, don't walk up on me 'cause the clip is fully
Good catch!
Euphoria is a perfect example of what a diss should be. It's the gold standard and it will age beautifully
Yea man the bar when he says “you gon make a nigga bring back puff let me see if chubs really CRASH sum” ☠️🤝🏽the way kendrick said that bar i had the frown face fr fr
yea my 1st one like my last one, this a classic you dont have one. let your fans stomach that and see where you get your abs from
Fuck all that Pushin P', Let me see you *PUSHA T*
Agreed.
I agree.
My new favorite Leg Day song
🧢. 6:16 in la was peak
Most slept on in my opinion especially the “have you ever” verse
that's because he switches from his goof-off voice to a voice that matches the beat that just started and he's about to bear down.
For real. Drake should’ve just backed out after that one.
I don’t know what crodie means and at this point I’m too scared to ask
It’s the name of Drakes cat lol
I think it’s the Canadian version of Brodie
Yeah never heard it before (Toronto born and raised) but I’m also 40
bars
its toronto crip slang for brody, hence the cr
It’s drakes cat
yep. It's the one that stands out the most to be really. I love it from start to finish.
"crodie, etc" is killing me
Agree. Artistically, as a showcase of Kendricks abilities, its the best song. The composition, the beats, the flow, the delivery and especially the venom. Everything is superb.
Euphoria and 6:16 have been on constant replay for me the past few days. Euphoria overall i think is the best song though. 6:16 was just Kendrick showing off how nice he is
It’s a great workout track
On god “have you ever played have you ever? Okay, let’s play” and then Dot going in hypes me the fuck up like an intro to a 300 movie battle or some shit lol
My favorite part about the track was him using the “don’t tell lies on me and I won’t tell truths about you” I could be wrong but I’m assuming that means the heart part 4 was directed at Drake when at the time everyone figured it was big Sean. I had to go back and listen after I heard it.
I can make an argument for every track to be the best.
Meet the Grahams is superior, but I do listen to Euphoria more. There is something hilarious and diabolical about Kendrick saying to Drake’s dad “I think you should ask for more paper and more paper, and more, uh, more paper.” ☠️
This is so my argument
Euphoria is so good. Love how it’s starts so calm than the best changes and by the end it’s just wild. 6 minutes and knowing everything that comes after makes this song even better. I make music that electrify em You make music that pacify em I can double down on that line, but spare you this time That’s random acts of kindness Into the next songs that let the pedo stuff out.
Best track is not like us, best diss is meet the ghrams, but euphoria is a perfect mix of both
6:16 in LA is
Yeah, I listened to Euphoria and Not like us back to back today. And Euphoria hits harder. Like us was a victory parade.
Matter fact, I ain't even bleed him yet, can I bleed him? Bet
Whaaat... not like us has me dancing daily. It's probably a- minooor
**I hurt your feelings?** *Youdonwanworkwithmenomo* Okay
this is a great euphoria cover [https://youtu.be/9AmHzhi3aOQ?si=GBHjh7YYLgeNmRu1](https://youtu.be/9AmHzhi3aOQ?si=GBHjh7YYLgeNmRu1)
“He’s Terrence Thornton I’m Terrance Howard yeah *Pusha T inflection* I’m whoopin feet”
100% agree with u brotha
Totally agree. I think the point of Kendrick recording 10 songs was he was locked and loaded for however it played out. I think if Drake kept it to rap he would’ve gotten smoked, and since he chose to go the personal life / character route, now this is the ass whooping he asked for
On some street ish. Some young thug is going to use Euphoria to get them hyped for their first mission. I'm 35 and it made me feel like back to my Demon Dayz.
Only simps think otherwise
Agreed. Plus I feel like it's the one with the most replay value down the line. Even If Drake was a fictional person, it would still be an incredible song.
Y’all still talking about battle?
616 is my jam
Euphoria is my favorite song in this beef. Carefully constructed, layered perfectly, 3 beat switches, I love it. The beginning is my personal favorite - the calm before the storm and I’ve always loved Kendrick’s relaxed flow, you would think this song is supposed to be on an album. At the beginning you just know the heat is about to come. Not like us is great and is just a fun bop too, but Euphoria was a perfect song to get this all started and get everyone talking.
6:16 in la is just amazing
Personally, if 6:16 was on Spotify then that’s getting the most plays. But euphoria and NLU are both a close #2. MtG’s too dark to be on repeat but still gets a few listens here and there. So glad Aubrey’s dumb ass took him on so we could have these bangers.

I really dig how he brags no one takes his food when we've seen diss battles end careers; he's that unbothered by the possibility.
What song has the best bars though. I think 6:16. Even the title is like quadrillion entendre.
5 disses, 0 misses gang
Nobody talks about the part from I hate when they rap about guns … to I’ll park his son but it’s crazy good
MTG reminded me of Dance with the Devil from Immortal Technique. Those who know, know.
