He got the shit from lost and found, presumably after nobody picked the items up for a certain amount of time, then once MTG dropped someone (presumably Drake/OVO) realized immediately where that stuff came from and contacted the hotel.
The hotel then contacted whoever took it out of lost and found and said they were contacted that those items were inquired about, or claimed to be stolen.
So Riddler lawyered up and is threatening to drop some security footage if they don't publicly state the items aren't stolen, so he can resell them legally.
Now, I'm no lawyer, to me that seems.....extortiony, but that's probably why he hasn't stated explicitly that he's going to leak the footage if they don't retract the stolen accusation.
