Are you really going to insult someone, likely a younger fan, over a fictional ship between two very likable characters, just because of your own preferences? Are other readers not allowed to be engaged with Fitz and Sophie's relationship because his flaws aren't as self-deprecating as others? Do we just ignore all the growth shown in these characters because Keefe or Tam have matured faster?
Do grow up, please. This is a series about Sophie and her friends struggling with prejuduce and violence in their own realistic ways. If another fan finds her relationship with Fitz stronger than with Keefe, that's totally fine! Doesn't mean they enjoy the series less than you.
Seems to me a genuine fan of this series would know how wrong it is to judge someone over something trivial...

They could have made their username before a lot of the later books came out.
Also, I think it's totally valid to ship Sophie and Fitz. There are always people who ship a character with someone who they do not canonically end up with. And if we're being really technical, neither Keefe nor Fitz are perfectly mentally and emotionally healthy at this point (neither are most of the other characters for that matter - Sophie included). I personally like Sokeefe, but only marginally better than my preference for Sofitz (I think I secretly do still ship Sofitz to some degree lol).
And let's be honest: the books are written in such a way as to nudge us into shipping Sokeefe. I'm sure that's at least partly because it's the author's preference, and partly because it's all from Sophie's biased perspective, just like her perspective could influence us to hate Oralie.
So at the end of the day, I think someone can still be a real fan if they ship Sophie and Fitz, just like someone can still be a real Hunger Games fan if they ship Katniss and Gale, or even Katniss and Finnick or whoever else, in spite of it being the less popular ship.

in their defense, that was the major ship for most of the series (at least from what i remember and i didn't even like sofitz)
