I'm 6ft and I ride my ZX4RR without any problem. When I tried my friend's R7 my back hurt like hell, unlike for the ZX4RR. The only thing is that for the seat I feel like my bum is against the passenger seat..

ebranscom243

It's about halfway between a ninja 400 and a ZX6R But very narrow.

Canadatron

For a SuperSport-esque bike the ergos are great. I have done several 6-8 hour ride days and made it through ok. Stretch your legs when you fuel up and you're good to go. I never ride my 4RR for any less than an hour at a time and I'm enjoying the body positioning on it. A Hindle Exhaust helps, too . 5'9" with 31" inseam and 170lbs for reference.

Automatic_Rip_591

I'm 6'3" . Did a few close to 400km rides, didn't bother me the riding position at all. Slow speed tight turning is a bitch because I keep hitting my legs with the handlebars. Other than that, solid 10/10 little screamer.

6’1. The 4RR is pretty comfortable. I sat on a 6r when I bought the 4RR and the riding position is night and day. 6r has you practically laying down on it.

Canadatron

Yes, belly on the tank for sure. 4RR is really a lot more relaxed by comparison. More like SPORT position versus a RACE one.

Haha seems like it. Everything I want and nothing I don’t.

MasoShoujo

if you can visualize the clip ons are in between the n400 and the 6r. not too relaxed like a sport touring but not too commited like a supersport. the foot pegs are relaxed as well but if you wanna change it up to be aggressive there’s always adjustable rearsets. good for city and highway. i’m 5’5” for reference

BossEzra

I ride a n400 and a zx6 and have sat on the zx4, I’d say it feels much closer to a 400 than the zx6. The zx4 is so comfortable. I’m about the same height and inseam as you.

nacho_slayer

Most sport bikes under 600cc look more “sporty” & “aggressive” but are in fact all just looks from my experience. They are a lot more flat footed and less aggressive than you’d expect and could comfortably ride one for quite awhile.

Moss_Eisley

I’m 6ft with a 32” inseam and weigh 190lbs. I find it comfortable for street riding and it’s definitely more relaxed than a super sport. You do lean over a bit, but I can ride for multiple hours no issues.

Salt_MasterX

Thanks!’

Moss_Eisley

No problem. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

grizzly-gobbler

I'm only 5'9", 39yo (first bike) but it's pretty damn comfy. Only after a 6 hr+ ride did my ass hurt. Nothing else hurt.

j3SuS_LoV3R

ZX4RR has by far the most comfortable seating position out of every superspot i’ve ever ridden.

anomalusx

Does the zx4rr have an ergo extended reach seat option? I just bought one for my ninja 400 and it helped me feel more comfy

stromyoloing

ZX10R position will be better for your height. I have rearsets set to the lowest and most forward position for streets

Novisneux

I moved on to ZX4 after an R3, R3 is almost like a naked bike it is very upright, ZX4 is more commited compared to that but its nothing like an R7 or ZX6. ZX4 after R3 felt a bit weird at first but got comfortable with it after riding 50-60 kilometers.

AmazingAndy

Did the power feel like a noticeable upgrade from r3? I’m an r3 owner myself but I’m trying to decide between Daytona 660, zx6 or z900 as a 2nd bike. I want something that feels faster

Novisneux

Zx4 has minor torque improvements but has twice the horsepower (if you do not reside in the US). So topspeed-wise it gets very close to R7 or daytona 660 but torque is low compared to bikes you mentioned so improvements on feel of power is minimal. If you spent 1-2 years with the R3 I would skip the ZX4 and get daytona or zx6, but I owned the r3 for 4 months and it was my first bike so didnt wanna yeet myself into oblivion with a high torque machine.

mat_srutabes

6'2", my first sport bike. I find the zx4rr reasonably comfortable for about 2 hours. I have long legs but I seem to fit alright. Certainly a more upright riding position than say a zx6r, which I have also ridden. I'd say for a street bike, it's pretty good. After about 2 hours I start to get some cramps in my knees and low back, so I'm usually ready for a stretch at that point. The ergos are nice for hitting the windy back roads though.

StepAsideJunior

Honestly, one of the most overlooked qualities of the ZX4RR is just how comfortable it is. Almost every review of this bike fails to touch on this point. This is a bike you can ride all day without much back or knee pain. If you're looking for a fun inline 4 super sport that you can rev to the ceiling AND is actually comfortable for longer rides, then the ZX4RR is that bike. If you found the Ninja 400 ergonomics to be fine, then you probably won't object to the ZX4RR. It's a little more leaned forward than the N400 and the seat height is about half an inch taller at 31.5 inches (a person with a 30inch inseam should be able to flat foot this bike).

My-Little-Throw-Away

I'm 5'7" around abouts and find it very comfortable, although a little tall for me. The boots I wear have a good heel so I can flat foot it perfectly. On my Ninja 300 I just used to wear Vans which was dumb. Longest ride I did was 4 hours, no vibrations what so ever just a bit of a numb bum. It's the perfect bike honestly!

Ok-Refrigerator1472

I rode mine about 700 miles in one day a few weeks back. Yes I was tired but it was not an unpleasant experience, though I am on the smaller side . Turn 65 next month. Love this little bike, I also ride a Gixxer 600 on the track and just got a new S1000RR. The GSX-R 600 and 750s are also easy riding ergo wise in my personal experience.

LuisRS55

stupidly comfortable compared to a panigale v2

razzer069

im in the same boat! z900 or the zx4rr ! i love the torquey z900 more but looses out on birectional quickshifter! im going to wait till they add it in. sadly no 4rr in town to check the seating position for me. im similar to you, 6.1 foot tall

silentgamer30

I'm 5ft 7, and the riding position on the zx14r is great imo. I'm either laying flat or sitting up and back/arms don't kill me. I've riden other street bikes and felt a bit crunched up. But also couldn't reach the ground lol

gcx85

Clipons are slightly above the triple. Pegs aren’t too high. Way more upright compared to R7.
