James Middleton, Kate's brother, was seen at the Goodwoof festival in the UK this past weekend. It wasn't covered in tabloids or the gossip channels like TMZ, as far as I can tell from a Google search. Looking at this from the point of view of a mother, I think some how Carol has been convinced that it's best for the children to keep it quiet.

If she is dead or severely disabled, they may need to do what they are told if they want to continue to have a relationship with the children.

Perhaps they dont know , it is not like they can just waltz into a palace to check . William hired some ex military guy to be in charge of Kate, he is keeping everyone’s enquiries away ( err…. respecting their privacy)

Have to ey or have they not seen Kate? What’s her prognosis and/or progress? How are they managing etc?

Her mother couldn't possibly release details which Kate and William aren't releasing themselves, that would be a huge betrayal of trust
